Best bloody Mary's and clam diggers!

Things have gone a little down hill since new owners it seems. Bloodys are not the same, I ordered 2 and they had zero toppings and wasn't offered a chaser. Service was incredibly slow.

This is a GREAT PLACE!!! I love the hunting lodge and really unique decor. The pizza's are outstanding. IBS is in the middle of nowhere. The beauty of it is they use this to their advantage. Loud and awesome music outside with plenty of seating because there is no one to bother with outdoor bar and loud music. We did not see live music but there is a stage and depending on the night you could probably expect to see a band there. We bought 4 large pizza's for 12 of us and left with half. The 4 pizzas were $80. They are huge. I highly recommend this as a stop if you nearby.

The Iron Buffalo is a bar out in the middle of nowhere. We usually stop there when we are coming from the lakeshore going home to Appleton. From the outside it looks like a big log house. Usually has a lot of Harleys parked in front. We do not ride Harleys but we do enjoy sitting on the front porch, having a beer and watching them roll in. The only food they serve is pizza and it it pretty good. We recently ordered the meat lovers pizza and it was truly full of meat. The crust is good and it is loaded with cheese. They give you a butter garlic sauce to put on if you want. We have also ordered a pizza with sauerkraut and bratwurst that was pretty good.

The pizza is amazing-many different kinds. All the ones we have tried have been excellent.

We love Iron Buffalo Pizza. It's the best around. But plan ahead because they only have one oven. Also they only take cash so be prepared.

Beer was cold. Band was priced right for the level of play (no cover).

The lemon pizza featured lemon flavor, of course, but it was perfectly balanced with the flavors of the smoked mozzarella, basil, arugula, and EVOO! The Beef Marsala was rich, but not too rich, in flavor with very tender pieces of beef braised in a red wine reduction and accompanied by mushrooms, creme fraiche, basil, mozzarella, and a delicious Marsala demi drizzle The crust on both was perfectly crispy with a slight chew. They call it Roman style pizza, in that the dough is made fresh in-house in the same manner the traditional Roman pizza (think thick, rectangular pizza) dough is made, but as a "pie" shape, you get a light, crunchy edge and crispy thin crust. It was unlike anything I've had in the Milwaukee area. My friend and I also started with glass of Macedonian pinot noir and finished with a traditionally small pour of Vin Chaud, which is similar to mulled wine. Both were fantastic! There are some gems in Elkhart Lake, and Harry's is one of them. I highly recommend you add Harry's to your list when in or near Elkhart Lake. This is the same family that opened Harry's Prohibition Bistro and Harry's Diner in Sheboygan, which I've also enjoyed in recent years!

Ambience and Experience: We were looking for a good Italian place and it had good reviews on Google…read moreso we decided to give this place a shot. You order at the bar and then wait in that area until you are seated at a table in the dining room. While we waited, we decided to try a couple of their fall cocktails. Not great, the drinks were very weak and you could tell were made with the cheapest booze available. Presentation was neat but the first sip quickly disintegrated the hype. Food: I have a nagging suspicion that most of what we ordered was not made fresh in-house. Everyone at our table ordered pasta except for one kid's meal and when glancing around at the tables around us, everyone had ordered just pizza. I think that is what this place is know for because their pasta ain't it. My wife and I tried the gnocchi and ravioli. You could tell they were not made in-house, especially the gnocchi (gummy, chewy texture is a dead giveaway. True homemade gnocchi will melt in your mouth). The sauces lacked spunk and everything just tasted canned and frozen to me. Portion sizes were also on the smaller side yet prices were expensive. $18 for frozen/packaged ravioli in a maybe homemade sauce (didn't taste like it)? Yeah right. Every chef knows that pasta is an easy dish to make good money on because pasta is cheap and easy to make, $18 for pasta with no protein additions is absurd. I will say the kid's pizza was probably the best dish on the table. You could tell that was made fresh and with real ingredients. Not sure why that did not translate to the pastas. So weird. Verdict: Staff were friendly and service was prompt but the food and drinks were lackluster at best. Not worth the price for a sit down meal, more along the line of quick service. Not sure if something was just off the night we went since this place is fairly well liked in the area, not sure.

Too spicy for me. I ordered the daily special. Pasta, chicken, asparagus, tomatoes, sun dried tomatoes, shaved Parmesan cheese with a garlic olive oil sauce. It was boring. No flavor, hardly any parm cheese and no sun dried tomatoes. My hubby got the stuffed shells and it was really good! He ordered a side of meatball and sausage but there was no sauce. Just odd. He had to ask for extra sauce. The cheesy garlic bread and minestrone soup are yummy. Some delicious meals and some meals eh. I will be back. I just need to stick with the baked penne and meatball. Always good service.

Our server Dylan was excellent, and the rest of the staff kept our waters filled and dishes cleared. We tried the Vegetariano panini (fantastic) and the Lombardia pizza Bianca (also fantastic). Everything is clearly prepared with intention - the greens on top of the salad were perfectly dressed, and the veggies on the panini were chopped into small, uniform pieces so every bite was perfect. It was hard to decide what to order, so we will be back to work our way through the menu!

It was IMPOSSIBLE to talk to each other. It was so loud, we were basically yelling at each other, the waiter too. Our table was so tiny, it barely had room for our food. What if we had ordered more? Our waiter was super nice and very knowledgeable. However, when he was telling us about the pasta special, we both heard him talking about adding berries to it. But when it came it, we were confused what he was even talking about. The pizza was great BUT only when you eat it fresh. After it got to room temp/cold, all you could taste was the burnt crust. Unfortunately, now that it's off my list of place to try, I probably would not go back. Also, we had to wait 30mins which was fine but a party of 2 who came AFTER us, got seated before us.
