Was looking for a new gym in Edmond and this was not it. The bathrooms smelt like something died in them and half of the toilets either didn't work or were backed up. No one wiped down or cleaned any machine after any use and I never saw an employee clean any piece of equipment. Watched multiple gym goers walk barefoot in and out of the restroom back onto the gym floor. Lastly as the owner is a female you would think she would have taken a comment about a female gym goer not feeling comfortable around certain male gym goers more serious seeing as a few weeks after this a certain old man was texting under aged girls. read more

I highly do not recommend this gym. I sent the following email and didn't receive a response after a few weeks. This facility is not promoting health, wellness, or safety for their members. Hello: My fiancé and I joined Key Fit Club a few months ago and were aware that the gym was beginning to transition to a new building. After a few particularly negative experiences I wanted to bring a few concerns to your attention. I am regularly observing members misusing equipment and not following a dress code. This is concerning from a health and safety standpoint. Although this is not an uncommon issue and happens at most gyms it is happening consistently enough it should be addressed with specific members to ensure the safety of all members. Members are not adhering to a basic dress code by not wearing shoes and socks and even taking off their shirt while working out. Specifically, members are walking to and from the bathroom and throughout the training area as well as training without socks or shoes. Unfortunately, I have witnessed gym employees misusing equipment and removing their shoes and socks to exercise as well. This is particularly concerning because of the standard that these behaviors set for other gym members to not use the facility in a safe and appropriate manner. There are regularly members of the gym using the facility while they are noticeably high. This is prevalent on weekdays between 5:00pm and 7:00pm and obvious due to the potent smell. I do not feel it is appropriate for this to be tolerated because of the overwhelming smell it causes in the gym. I am also concerned that this is happening while there are children's classes happening in the gymnastics gym next door. Due to the above concerns: improper use of equipment, lack of dress code, and marijuana use I do not feel like Key Fit Club is promoting a safe and healthy gym environment particularly for females. The gym should be a safe place for individuals to work towards their goals. My personal training has been disrupted and I have been distracted from my goals due to the above referenced issues I have experienced. I have become uncomfortable being at the gym without my fiancé or a friend there with me because of the actions of other members. I have experienced harassment in a gym setting before and believe the environment that is being cultivated at Key Fit Club is promoting gym harassment and gym intimidation. I understand the gym is in the process of transitioning and moving locations. When we joined, we knew we would need to exercise some grace for the transition process. I would like to see these issues addressed and changes made moving forward in the current and new facilities. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to discuss this further. This is an an amazing gym. They have something for everyone An indoor pool, an indoor sprinting track. Two HUGE areas of workout equipment. They even have a gymnastics area but it was closed off. I went to the rowing class in 405 Rowing which is inside the gym. It was a great full body workout. The instructor was awesome. I had never done a rowing class. She explained what she would be doing and what to watch for on the rowing machine dash. She sat a seasoned rower next to me to help me out. Kim was a huge help when I needed something explained. The gym was really clean. They have a really nice large locker room. I have never been in a gym as large as this one. It was pretty amazing. It seemed to have every type of gym equipment I have ever seen. Really nice place. read more

Come here every day and the staff is very friendly and always willing to help. They have a large variety of equipment that you won't find at a lot of other gyms with lots of room so you won't feel crowded If your new or have questions their trainers are very helpful You get what you pay for and it's totally worth it!! read more

The Key Health Institute still resides in the front portion of the building, but the gym itself has a new owner. The gym is now called "Key Fit Club." The new owners eliminated the basketball court and turned it into a free weight and machine weight room which is still spacious. The old free weight and machine weight room is being remodeled into a gymnastics floor. The facility still has a full restroom with showers and steam room for its members. Towels are available at the front for members as you walk-in. There is a Olympic size indoor pool as well. There is a variety of spin, aerobic, and swimming classes offered for the members. I've been using this gym for the past 4 years and I've enjoyed it based on what it offers the members. I would highly recommend it to people who live in Edmond to try it out. read more

I love this place. Realistically, I think there'd be more positive reviews if members weren't so intent on keeping the gym bros out. They've got several platforms, a great GHD, a reverse hyper and every speciality bar a lifter could need. read more

I recently moved from Edmond to south Texas. Before moving, I failed to inform this business of the move. I contacted them late in September. I told them I had moved. They said, I needed to come in and sign a form. Me: I am 12 hours away. Can you send me the form. Fitness club: yes 6 months later and calling monthly; the club still has not done what they said they would. I never got the papers and they are still debiting my card. Last month phone call, they stated once again, and said the debit would stop! Guess what! It didn't.!!!! Management is arrogant and sloppy. I am now forced to get a new debit card just so those charges won't go through. I do not recommend this place! read more

We just started using this gym and we LOVE it! The cost is super affordable especially for everything you get! The childcare area is phenomenal and our child loves the ladies in there!!!! They are soooo great with her!!! When you walk in the gym the staff knows you by name and they typically sign you in before you even have to scan your card! The gym itself, classes, and pool are fantastic!!!!! There is definitely something for everyone at every fitness level to do here!!! No intimidation AT ALL!!!!!! I am currently working out with a trainer (Sheryl Rollins) and she is AMAZING!!!! Hands down the best trainer I've ever worked with and by far the best workout I've ever gotten!!!! My daughter does gymnastics at this facility. I wouldn't put her anywhere else. We did try Oklahoma gold but they don't give the instruction kids need. Edmond Gymnastics is the best! read more

My family and I have tried numerous gyms around the Edmond/N OKC area... and none come close to how much we love Key! The Kids Club is EXCELLENT, and the staff is always super friendly and make you feel like more than just a member, and it's a super CLEAN facility (including their bathrooms!). I honestly wish I could come on here and rate it low so we could keep this hidden gem(gym- haaaa) to ourselves, but share the love we must! Join Key Fit Club - you won't be disappointed!!! read more
