Place was busy. Threader should've still slowed down and taken the proper time to do a decent job - I didn't even ask for shaping. She went WAY too fast, made it more painful than normal, didn't clean properly, took off too much from the top of one part of the brow in her haste, CUT the skin on the side of my eyebrow, and when I told her, said that going fast was how she did it. A fast threader is not a skill to be proud of when that speed causes pain, cuts, and a bad threading job. Slow down and don't make it hurt. I've been getting my eyebrows threaded since the dawn of time - there are many who don't make it feel painful and know how to clean up brows. i think i found my favorite new esthetician !!…read more karly was so sweet to me and made me so comfortable throughout the treatment! she didn't try to sell me anything, but more so educated me on my choices based on my skin. i loved that she actually listened to how my skin problems made me feel, the products i've tried, and overall how my lifestyle has been going alongside it. her studio is so cute and the way she has it set up is very accommodating with a heated bed and such. i got a custom facial from her and the steps were from what i remember: steaming, face washing, extractions, enzyme mask with light therapy, and light wand for zapping away at bacteria. i've had extractions done before and boy did they hurt. karly was very light handed and made sure to check in on me to see how it felt. the enzyme mask did sting a bit, but it was nothing compared to a chemical peel. she talked to me all throughout the facial, and it made me feel really comfortable knowing that she was very proactive with double checking what my skincare routine looked like and treatments i've tried in the past. after the facial, my skin looked SO glowy and hydrated which is something i definitely needed after overusing actives. even at night, my skin was still looking amazing!!
