Two hour cruise around Key West at sunset...it was outstanding! You choose your drink tickets prior to boarding. You can get wine and beer or upgrade to the good stuff for ten bucks more. My wife and I took the Key West Cocktail Cruise last evening at sunset. This trip included cruising around Mallory Square, the private island off of Mallory Square with all the million dollar homes and of course sailing into of the sunset. The crew for this cruise was Ted, Lisa and Mattie and let me say they each did an exceptional job which made this cruise even more special. The drinks were abundant, the music had the Key West vibe and basically everyone on the cruise got to know each other before it was over. I really can't say enough good things about this venture and would certainly highly recommend it to anyone considering a sunset cruise. What cruise? I purchased a cruise through Groupon once I saw the Cruise was available during my stay at the keys. I booked the cruise on the cruises lines direct web page, was charged $9 extra dollars form the Groupon price by the cruise line & then got a call at noon the day of the cruise that they didn't have any running that day but I could schedule any other day that week. I rearranged leaving so I could still use my already purchased cruise as I was not able to get a refund from either Groupon or the cruise. The next day I again got a call from the cruise that said the weather wouldn't allow for the cruise. I understand you can't control the weather. HOWEVER, you clearly made a deal with the Groupon to allow them to sell your cruises. Groupon won't refund my $90 and says it's just their policy & you won't refund my money because you claim no affiliation with Groupon as Groupon is their own company even though you had to have some kind of agreement with them for them to sell your product. I didn't even get my $9 back I paid directly to this company, not Groupon. SO, I'm out $99 dollars all together and live no where near you to "use it another time." It doesn't expire; great, I'll just plan another trip just to use this credit. Or I'll tell everyone I know, everywhere I can, not to purchase this cruise or Groupon because they value $99 more than their customer service/satisfaction & reoccurring customers. $99 is a lot of money to some people. If you understood that, you'd handle situations like this much differently. read more

We purchased a Groupon for this and upgraded to the unlimited cocktails. It was probable a bad deal for us, as we don't drink as much as we did when we were younger. The drinks were very good and we really enjoyed cruising out to watch he sunset. It is quite spectacular to watch from the water. They music was kept low enough that we could talk in normal tones, although I think that the selection was for a younger crowd. We hadn't been away from he dock for more than 10 mins. and the the song playing said f*ck three times. Maybe later in the cruise it would have gone un-noticed, but the very first song wasn't the time in my opinion. We most certainly will go out with them again,given the opportunity. read more

This was our third time taking the cocktail cruise on our trip to Key West. Just for the heads up, no matter how warm it is during the day... bring a hoodie or something to cover up with since it can get cold on the water. The staff is friendly for the most part, but I have a major issue with the fact that they said "ladies first" when it comes to being served at the bar. This is an extremely dated tradition and slightly offensive to non-binary and other gender identities. Beer/cocktail selection can vary depending on when you go. read more

This was actually one of my favorite things we did while on the island. The staff was very nice and attentive and it really was all you can drink. I would recommend the Keylime cider. The cruise takes you out into the bay and you get to see the sunset from Malory square. The captain also points out various sites along the way and tells a little history. The only reason why I did not give this place five stars was I thought there could be a few better pictures perhaps when you first get on or they could stop the cruise for a moment to take pictures so your hair wasn't blowing all over the place and you can get a really nice picture to frame. I was also expecting soda according to the description and there wasn't any soda. Overall this was quite enjoyable and I would definitely recommend for anyone to check this out. read more

QUALITY From the time we walked up to the dock, to the time we were helped back off the boat, safely back ashore, the level of quality was enormously high. The gold and black decal should have tipped us off at the level of luxury we were about to head into, because the following sections I am about to delve into, especially service, were all top notice in the quality department. QUANTITY So if we are talking about raw amount of libations and beverages offered, yes, the quantity was fantastic. If we are talking about the length of the excursion, so the "three our tour," yes this was equally as fantastic, the quantity of patrons worked out in our favor, as there were only about five or six other couples aboard on our cruise, and with room for plenty more, the quantity was just all around perfect. VALUE Value would be one of my biggest review points as dollar for dollar, where else could you go on a mini cruise, see the sights of Key West, feel the breeze, and drink as much as one could possibly ask for, all while in a safe and dedicated boat setting?! Correct, nowhere. The value of this cruise is huge, folks. The price outright is not that bad at all, and should you hunt around and find a deal online, the value raises extraordinary. AMBIANCE I listen to a satellite radio station named "Yacht Rock," and feel as though THIS is what they are talking about when joking about the style of tone and music being played. Smooth 70s/80s/90s/Reggae and whatever else you might want for the musical backdrop, with a very laid-back crew that is just so very nice. The overall ambiance is perfectly Key West, and you feel it from start to finish. CROWD I had a blast with the other folks on our cruise. I believe all others were adult couples around the same age or just a bit older, but the feel was great, and the couples all got along well. No one knew each other and this made for a quick meet in greet, that all were comfortable with. We might have even traded drink ideas and thoughts on what we liked and disliked. SERVICE So this is my favorite part when writing a great review like I am right now. The service on this Key West Cocktail cruise was top-top notch. There was a captain/DJ/host/photography and all-around GREAT guy whom was ready for everything. Not only did he have the script down to a science, however even explained how to use the "Marine Head." Then there was the lady whom was our wonderful friend, bartender and even deck hand - wow , everyone wore tons of hats on this minimal staff outing, however with perfect success. As if they surely had completed many of these voyages previously and so knew whom to bring along. Well of course and it felt as smooth and perfect. PARKING Knowing we would be partaking in adult beverages, I did not opt to park FOR FREE on the dockside, however we could have! Yes! Plenty of parking is right available and of course you know this is HUGE for me! We walked the short 1.2 miles from our B&B and then took a Lyft back. Easy does it and safety all around. EXTRA I could say tons more and I would love to, however if you have any specific questions, please message me. Timing was easy, just get there a few minutes before the voyage, and if you are curious about the beverages, there was a few different red or white wine varieties as well as craft beer and IPA and finally an added charge for more uppy cocktails. Have they HEARD of wearing masks around others? That's a SIMPLE precaution that would've made me step on the boat. That's all it takes to be safe. I called multiple times to inquire about covid restrictions and they said it was precautions would be taken. I showed up and NO staff wore a mask and they even mixed and served drinks without masks. I left and they hung up on me when they asked why I didn't come. I was going to rebook after covid as I come to the keys often, but after being treated so poorly I will not. I'll take my business elsewhere. Shame on you for not caring about this pandemic and at least wearing a mask to serve drinks. Again, all it takes to be safe. You are disgusting. And hanging up on me? I found this while looking for Groupon deals during our visit to Key West. It wasn't expensive at all, and it came with unlimited craft beer and wine. You can upgrade for a small fee to the unlimited cocktails package, but since my boyfriend and I were having to drive back to Islamorada after visiting Key West, we stuck with the craft beer and wine. The girl who worked the bar was so friendly and outgoing, and the captain was very knowledgable about the area. It was pleasant weather, with a nice breeze coming off the water. We were paired with a larger group of people visiting from Ohio, and it made for a fun time! The captain takes you out towards the sunset point where everyone watches the sunset, famous in Key West, but the great part is that you don't have to worry about a crowd in front of you! We all got plenty of pictures of the sunset, and the bartender had her professional camera with her, so she took pictures of everyone and posted them to Key West Cocktail Cruise's Facebook page. The captain gave a great tour of everything that was around us, and he even showed us a private island where there is a fancy restaurant exclusive to the island and several celebrity homes, including one of Oprah's homes. We were most impressed with his drive back through the dark, and he was able to navigate without any issues. On our way back, we had the opportunity to see the Navy divers practicing! I would highly recommend this cruise and give kudos to the crew for such a wonderful time! read more

As the sun sets over Key West, there are no shortage of places to watch the it dip below the horizon. The most renowned location is probably Mallory Square, which tends to draw in legions of tourists and fans as they enjoy the fire jugglers and souvenir peddlers provide entertainment before the magical 15 minute period arrives (because yes, once the Sunset starts it does go fairly quickly). However, a far more enjoyable way to spend that magic time, is off the shore on Key West Cocktail Cruise, a choice which provides both comfort and some truly delicious hand-crafted libations. Key West Cocktail Cruise departs promptly from Garrison Bight Marina, and after a brief introduction and safety tips, you can take advantage of their bar. Both wine and beer choices are available, but the real star are the lovingly made cocktails, all prepared using proper mixers such as Fever Tree Tonic Water, and Gosling's or Barritt's Ginger Beer.The use of extras such as Rhubarb Bitters, Strawberry Mint Shrub, and Orgreat elevate the drinks from your standard mass-production affair. Despite the hilarious comment of one patron we overheard...yes the bartender should dip a straw into the drink and sample it before serving, not to "try to take advantage of the environment to get drunk" but rather to ensure quality before serving. They do, and the drinks reflect their higher standards. The Coconut Telegraph (with Cooranbong Vodka, Coconut Water, St. George Spiced Pear, and Madagascar Vanilla) is dangerously light and easy drinking. I also really enjoyed the Paisley Park (Havana Club White Rum, Hibiscus Syrup, and Ginger Beer). The Red Sky at Night (Bluecoat Gin, Strawberry Mint Shrub, and Mediterranean Tonic) was my husband's favorite, which had a great balance and was also incredibly refreshing. The route leaves the marina and goes past house boats, the Naval reserve, Mallory Square, and eventually Sunset Key. Along the way, it provides spectacular views, and then they turn out in the open water so that everyone on-board can watch the sunset. All the staff are phenomenal, clearly concerned about their guests comfort and happiness. I would strongly suggest booking online, or calling in advance to secure a spot, if you know you'll be down in Key West. Overall it is a splendid experience, and a far more pleasant way to spend the twilight than huddled amongst large crowds, peering around the heads of the stilts-walkers and dads hoisting up their small children. read more

We did the 1/2 day private charter and I could not recommend this enough! We were there for a bachelor & bachelorette party and Keyanna, Katerina, Amanda, and Captain Zappa were incredible. We went out to the sandbar and hung out in the water and went over to the beach swing. Keyanna took tons and tons of pictures and the drinks were delicious. I also coordinated with Josh and Brittany to get sandwiches from Publix and some special drink requests that we had and they were great as well.
