This review is for the Sunset Sail on Fury's Commotion On The Ocean. We absolutely loved our sunset sail. All of the crew were super friendly, happy and amazing hosts. The served drinks promptly and expeditiously upon boarding the sailboat. The band was lively and sounded great. We stayed on the top level of the boat and the crew walked around and refilled drinks which was so nice. We didn't have to walked down to the bar and could just enjoy the weather, the sailing and the view! Kudos to Captain Willie and his entire crew for being such a delightful group. A very disappointing experience. I tried fury key west back in 2013. It is still one of my favorite experiences to this date. At the time I did the all day adventure. About 3 weeks ago I wanted to surprised my GF on our cruise so I purchased the coral snorkel. At the time there was a hurricane out in the ocean so almost every other tour company cancelled because of it, outside of Fury. I thought that was a good thing so we went with them. IT WAS NOT. It was extremely dangerous and I swallowed so much water because of the high waves. We ended up staying in the water for about 10 minutes then we got out. We weren't the only ones. Even the captain said we would be the last ones to go out for a while because of the waters. WHAT A RIP OFF! 90 bucks for ten minutes of swimming and about an hour and a half of people throwing up on the side of the ship because the conditions were that bad. Also, flat complimentary soda. The only reason why I am giving 2 stars is due to the young man that booked us at the ticket booth. He warned us multiple times not to go and was willing to refund us but I really REALLY wanted to trust the captains judgement. I was wrong. He wanted that money. read more

Our day with Fury Watersports started out great -- The Parasailing, banana boat, the snorkeling and dolphins were amazing. But the jet ski portion of the tour was ruined the young women working that station. She was extremely rude and dismissive toward guests who don't speak fluent English. Several of us on the tour were visitors from other countries, and she showed clear impatience and disrespect toward anyone struggling with the language. This is not acceptable behavior for someone working in a tourist destination that depends on international visitors every single day. Her attitude made an otherwise great experience feel unwelcoming and uncomfortable. I strongly hope management takes this seriously and addresses it directly with her, because this kind of treatment could easily drive tourists away from recommending Fury to others. It's a shame one employee's behavior overshadowed such a good tour. read more

Best Night Ever!! I highly recommend taking the evening sunset cruise on Fury. We booked the Commotion on the Ocean cruise and were thoroughly impressed.  The cruise was around $80 pp, 2 hours in length, had a live band playing the entire time, and included drinks/snacks. The beverage options were two kinds of beer, margaritas, and wine, which flowed freely all evening. Snacks were also provided. HINT- purchase the insulated Fury cup w/ lid for $17, because it is well worth it. If you don't you, will be drinking out of 8 oz plastic cups all evening, which are not conducive to dancing! The crew was great and their main focus (besides safety) was to ensure the guest were having a fun time. The two level catamaran was nicely sized, and provided room for everyone. If you wanted to sit and relax while watching the sunset, there was space for that. If you are more of the wind in your hair while dancing to the live music, there was plenty of room for this also! We were impressed how the Fury cruise did not jam pack the boat. Other company cruises were leaving the dock at the same time and they were packed with little room to move. Kudos to Fury.  Also- there are two restrooms onboard.  The sunset cruise culminated our visit to Key West with an amazing time and an incredible sunset.  We will definitely do this cruise and other adventures through Fury on our next visit. read more

Great service! Location was close to the cruise port. We immediately were helped and explained all the details and had the cart brought to us within minutes. We opted for the gas powered one but next time we want to try the electric one as the gas cart are loud. They sound like lawn mowers. Nothing wrong with that but we encountered a few electric ones in the street and they were so quiet. Only reason why I provided a 4 star is because when I returned the cart there were no one at the location. I called the guy and he advised to leave the keys there. Aside from that, great company and service. I'll post some pics if the cart and location. Additionally, hopefully in the near future they can offer upgraded carts with more rain coverage as we got drenched in rain with these. read more

My 21-year old son and I took the 27-mile tour today and our expectations were exceeded wildly! Our guide, Manuel (I hope I got that right) was terrific and showed us a great time. He was knowledgeable about the area and its many features, and he took us on a high-speed, thrilling ride. The section of the tour that travels into the Atlantic gets "sporty" as our guide suggested. Went out on the 23rd for a Half day adventure with parasailing, jet skis and water sports that was fun for whole the family. Kids 13 and 9 enjoyed themselves and I would recommend for a longer adventure on the water. Saw sea turtles when up on the parasail and really loved the options for being on the water to try new things. Four hours was the perfect length for kids and parents! Staff on the charter was awesome from the watercraft leaders to our bartender/deck crew but our catamaran captain who led the larger boat could learn to talk to his staff nicer, especially in front of the guests. Overall a good day out at sea playing and would recommend for day visitors or cruise trippers! read more

We booked with Fury for our first snorkeling adventure over the holidays. Me and 2 of my family are decent swimmers, my wife knows basics. Ticket guy Mark assured us pool noodles would help and water is calm and expert swimming is not required. Boat ride with Todd and Anne started fine, but snorkel time? Disaster. Anne acted like she was dragged off the street, no manners, just snide remarks, eye-rolls, and forehead smacks at a fellow tourist fumbling with their wetsuit. No help getting in the wavy water; instead, she snaps at my struggling wife: "Why do people who can't snorkel even try?" (I'd love to see her skydive after 10 mins of instructions!) Todd was meh, nice enough but obsessed with tips, yapping about it nonstop. Snorkeling itself was great, but these two don't belong in service. Avoid! read more

Who can argue having a bad day out on the water with drinks and food? I know I can't and Fury makes it quite the opposite. It is great to have an old reliable when it comes to any water adventures in a new area! When researching different charters to take, Fury was one of the most recommended and spoke about. And it did not disappoint. I suggest anyone that is looking for any water events to at least take a look into Fury and their different options because it is highly likely that they have something for everyone! We decided to take a longer tour that involved multiple stops and the sunset so we took the Eco island adventure tour! It started around 3:30 and ended right after sunset so about 8 pm we got off the boat in the marina! I think it was the perfect length and distance off the coast to sight see and get a taste of what the water is like! The tour includes 2 main stops. The first stop to snorkel for about 45 minutes. We did go in early March so the water was still a bit cold, but we were able to see perfect in it! You drove about 20 minutes or 10 miles off the coast to islands and snorkeled right off the boat in open water about 6 feet deep. It is not an active reef so you won't see as much as some places and you also see more younger life so they are more muted color ways; however, it was still amazing. We were able to see barracuda, lobster, small fish, and plenty of greenery. After 45 minutes of swimming and paddling around you got back into the boat for your next 30 minute ride to a sand bar further away. It was a bit windy so I suggest bringing a towel or sweatshirt after being in the water! Once you get out of the water they have pin wheel wraps and little snacks to eat while you ride to the next destination. Stop two included multiple things. You are able to take a quick paddle board, kayak tour to the island and back where the guide talks about the history and educational side of the marine life and geographical land. Which is pretty awesome and cool to listen to! That tour is optional so if you want to relax at the sand bar or just swim you are also welcome to do that. Since alcohol is included in the trip, you are only allowed to drink it after you are done using the equipment, whenever that is the snorkels, paddle boards, kayaks, etc. They provide beer and champagne which aren't the best options, but still pretty great! Especially when you're in the middle of the gulf, on a sand bar, drinking and enjoying the views and company. When we were out at the sand bar there wasn't much in the water in the area, but we were able to see a couple of huge Conchs, which was awesome! Once you are done swimming and hanging on the sandbar drinking (about an hour and 45 minutes) you head back into the port by Key West to watch the sunset. It truly is an amazing view and the crew does a great job at trying to ensure that you are able to see clearly without any other boats as an obstruction. Then once the sun sets, the boats head back into the dock. It is a great overall trip for those that want to do multiple cruises such as snorkeling and a sunset cruise but do not want to pay crazy prices. For two people it was approximately $250, which is great for all that you do! Our captain was Matthew and he was so kind and generous on knowledge and your needs! He was super easy to talk to and hangout with as well! I highly recommend checking out the different tours when you get a chance because it is well worth the money and experience. read more

We booked the July 4th Ocean Sunset & Fireworks Sail for $350 and were really looking forward to sharing the experience with two other couples. One of our friends even called ahead to make sure we'd all be placed on the same excursion. Unfortunately, no one informed us that we needed to check in together or that matching ticket colors were required to board the same boat. As a result, all three couples ended up on three different boats, which was extremely disappointing. Once onboard, my husband and I had to stand for the entire 3.5‑hour trip because there were no available seats. Many passengers were holding seats with personal items while they went to get food, and nothing was done to manage seating fairly. The food line stayed long the entire time, and when we finally reached it, the food was not good--more like basic Costco-style trays--and the beer was warm. For the price of the excursion, the quality simply wasn't there. Had we known how crowded each boat would be, or that we could easily be separated from our group, we would not have booked this experience. The fireworks were beautiful, but the overall organization and value did not match the cost. read more

Extremely Disrespectful and Humiliating Experience on Fury We booked a snorkeling trip on the boat Fury (Dec 20 2025, 4-7 pm) through a travel agent and had one of the worst tour experiences we've ever encountered. From the very beginning, the crew refused to provide life jackets, repeatedly insisting that snorkeling required knowing how to swim. We explained that most of us do know how to swim, but swimming in the open ocean is very different, and life jackets are a basic safety measure. When we insisted, we were sent to the captain, who was extremely rude, refused to listen, and instead threatened to call the coast guard and have us removed from the boat, claiming it would cost us $500-$1,000. We were even told to "go practice swimming in the ocean and then come," which was insulting and dismissive. Alcohol was supposed to be part of the experience, yet the crew refused to serve us, saying the captain had instructed them not to, without providing any reasonable explanation. Throughout the trip, different crew members gave contradictory instructions. When confusion arose because of this, they blamed us rather than clarifying. The worst part was the way we were spoken to as paying customers. The crew treated us as if this were a free or voluntary experience, using aggressive and abusive language such as "get off my boat" and "screw you," especially while we were disembarking. This behavior was shocking, humiliating, and completely unprofessional. Overall, the experience felt hostile, intimidating, and discriminatory. No customer--especially one who has paid for a tour--should ever be treated this way. We left feeling unsafe, disrespected, and embarrassed. I would strongly caution others before booking any experience on Fury unless serious changes are made to how guests are treated. read more

My family and I booked a parasail adventure through Fury on Christmas Eve. It was our first time parasailing, and we all had a blast! At our scheduled time, we were led onto boats which took us out into the water. The boat goes VERY fast and you get to feel the wind blowing and a great view of the area and any cruise ships that might be docked. The parasailing experience was awesome. I was a bit nervous about safety, but we were given life jackets and strapped into harnesses and I never felt like I was in any danger. Up in the air, I had a fantastic view of the harbor, the water, the skies... definitely not like anything I've experienced before! The team (boat captain + Penny) were incredibly kind and efficient with getting us out on the water and in the air, and definitely elevated our experience! The captain was a pro at steering and making sure we dipped our toes into the water (if we wanted to) and the team took many pictures and a 15 second video during takeoff. I would highly recommend not only going parasailing while in Key West, but also booking through Fury if you can! We only did the parasailing experience but would have loved to do their other activities if we had more time. Pro tip: Book early to get their early bird special (9 AM daily)! We paid about $50 pp for around 5-10 minutes in the sky parasailing, and about an hour on the boat total. It's $40 per group for the photo package which was a great way to have memories of the experience. read more

I had a blast on Fury's Commotion on the Ocean sunset cruise! At $78/pp, the price tag was pretty steep, but they overall delivered on value. I visited during record-breaking May heat, so being on the water was the way to go. The guides announced that they would be splitting the group into two different boats. My friend and I opted for the second boat and were first in line to the bar. We brought our own cups and they were filled high with wine. They also provide plastic cups. I also tried their namesake lager at one point, and it was tasty and refreshing, though nothing extraordinary. The crew was great! They were all very friendly and on top of things despite handling such a big group. The live music was a nice touch too. The only meh for me was the food selection. They offered fish dip, some cut celery, carrots and broccoli, shrimp, and chicken fingers. I don't eat shrimp or chicken fingers, which left me with fish dip. For the price, I would've loved maybe one more option -- just a little more variety to accommodate dietary restrictions. I did love the fish dip though. The views were, of course, incredible and the sunset was out of this world gorgeous. I took so many photos. Other boat patrons were super friendly too, probably because of all the booze flowing! This was my first activity in Key West during a long weekend visiting a local friend, and it set the trip off on the right foot! We have snorkeled with them before and they were great. Yesterday's trip was very disappointing. Two very nondescript snorkeling spots. The crew, while not completely unfriendly, was the worst we have experienced with any outfitters. The captain rushed through instructions and mumbled so bad we couldn't understand half of what he said. The other crew member acted like she had no desire to be there. She acted put upon when asked for help and barely spoke, even at the end of the trip when she was asking for tips. We will try them again, but hopefully things will be different next time read more

Plus afterwards when my cell phone died and we couldn't remember where we parked (it was on my phone), the staff drove us around looking for it and then charged my phone so we could see where we left it. We had a great experience with the parasailing, my son and husband loved it, it was a clean boat, safe, the guys on the boat were great. My reason for only 4 stars is the miscommunication between the guys on the boat vs customer service and the people in the booth. We had a party of 3, so originally I thought the 3 person ride would be great. But I noticed it had a 450 lb weight limit. Together the 3 of us, full sized adults, are around 480, so not like we are overweight! I called to ask if it was a strict weight limit and was told yes, and confirmed that at the booth. I said one of us doesn't want to go up alone, and was also told that the Captain may put me with another single rider. I also wasn't interested in going up with a random stranger, so I asked about just going along on the boat, and I'd let my husband and son ride while I watched. I was told I could only be "standby", even paying $45, and couldn't confirm my ticket until 10 min. before boarding. Once we got on board, I was told that information regarding the weight limit was incorrect, and another group of 3 adults on our boat were able to all go up together. So super frustrating that I missed out on joining my family in this experience! The captain was frustrated with the misinformation we were given. I even spoke with someone in CS afterward, and she said they were told the 450 lb weight limit is firm! read more

AMAZING tour. Safe, fun and very professional. The guides were experienced professionals. Everything we did was well planned in advanced with no glitches whatsoever. I like they way they explained the eco system of the keys where we kayaked around the mango trees. The paddle boarding was easy to do in the location they chose. I had never gone paddle boarding before; yet the calm, crystal clear waters made it easy to learn. I was able to stand up and paddle in no time. I even found the largest conch shell of the day. The sandwiches and veggie player they provided were a great snack after the activities. They served the best mimosas too!!! We had fun watching the sunset and dancing to the music on the way back to port. Worth every penny. Five stars all the way! read more

We were told it should work and woke up hours early to be the first ones off. - We were 5mins late and were charged over $300 to get on the next boat. - The captain chanted "Missed the boat...
