After payment, the process became a series of delays, missed appointments, and inconsistent communication. I was repeatedly told the work would be done "soon" or scheduled for specific days, but no one showed up. Over time, it became increasingly difficult to get any response at all. I sent a final message giving an opportunity to resolve the situation, but never received a reply. It has now been over two months with no contact and no work completed. It is concerning to see other reviews describing similar experiences. Based on my experience, I recommend using caution before paying any deposit. All communications and payments have been documented, and I am pursuing appropriate steps to resolve this matter.

It's been like having a trusted friend one my side. The honesty, the hard work, the timely work...everything has been perfect. He knows boats like no one and can fix anything. For example, he installed new front nav lights, which were silly-expensive Italian parts molded into the hardtop. Not an easy job. My first experiences were terrific. Right off the bat I was having trouble with a Fusion radio. He played with it, and it seemed I needed a new unit. He ordered one for me. When he came back to install it he had an idea on how to fix the old one. It worked. Many people would have just installed the new one... I have since bought another boat, used, and he has completely taken care of me, many times--And it sure seems his fees are reasonable. I had my boat Haulover and then in Coconut Grove and his rates are remarkably better (but those places are expensive, yes). Jim is the best.
