I took my six year old dog here. I had tried calling the other vet and couldn't get through. How do…read moreyou cited to give Desert trails veterinary services a try. My dog was diagnosed with diabetes, which was expected. After two appointments to make sure we had adequate information we started our dog on insulin and a new diet. The vet that they had working there, which was apparently not the normal vet, told us our dog would live a long life and to come back a week and a half later for tests. I wasn't told what to watch for on Insulin. My dog got really sick. I didn't understand it at first. My dog has a sensitive stomach and as I mentioned we had to change his diet. He had puke but that was normal when you gave him new food. I wasn't aware that puking was a sign that the insulin wasn't working and he was very sick. I was never told the warning sign to watch for. By the time I understood that things were bad I rushed him to Reno to an emergency hospital. The hospital wasn't able to do anything. He was too far gone. I called Desert trails veterinary services several days after the incident. I couldn't call them any sooner because I was so distraught and sad. I told them I was very upset with the service I got. I felt so depressed and hurt that I let my dog die. Had I known the warning signs to watch for I could've saved him. The lady that answered the phone said she'd look into it when she called me back she didn't say she was sorry she didn't give me condolences for my loss she just said they weren't going to do anything and it wasn't their fault. I feel like this veterinary service is a cold hearted money grubbing scam. If you value your pets life and he don't go here they are horrible. It cost me my family members life my pet for me to understand this.

All the service's where well priced along with the surgery. And he is so much crazier now. Thank you. My rat Yoli's recovery didn't go well, but as we all should know, get a blood panel first and I didn't. I merely mentioned her in passing when I collect left over money. And a week later I got an awesome handwritten letter of compassion from them. They care for allot of animals here so it was a bit of a surprise for a rat. As most don't understand what great companions rat's make. But from start to finish I wasn't made to feel weird about caring for a rat. And pet the shop cat, Matilda, Miranda her name starts with an M.

Fallon Veterinary Clinic - They literally killed this beautiful little girl. Do not take your animal there if you love your animal.

I was also feeling like my vet in Reno was putting greed first and animal care second with the way they were nickel and diming my every visit. The prices and care my pets receive at Fallon Vet Clinic is far superior to my last vet so I'm very happy with the switch. My smaller pup is on 3 different medications and Dr. Storms staff have been very accommodating when I call to request refills. I try to be respectful of their 48 hour refill time period but a few times I've been in a pinch and they have gone above and beyond to accommodate my situation which I'm very thankful for. One time I had an emergency situation when my bigger dog ate a weeks worth of my smaller dogs meds when we were out of town. I called the clinic and they sprung in to action to help me make sure my bigger dog didn't get sick and then sent a refill for the meds to the nearest pharmacy where I was. They turned a stressful situation in to a manageable one. My smaller pup is nearing 10 years old and had a couple of cracked teeth and needed a dental cleaning. Dr. Storm quoted me a price for the procedure and I was pleasantly surprised when I showed up to pay the bill that it was less than my quote. Their ethics and integrity are valuable to me and I'm happy to recommend this vet!

They pointed me toward lahontan and I was told to make an appointment they want to charge $50. Maybe because I'm from California I've never had to do that before but it is supposedly because people don't show up for surgeries. My cat is dying and I needed help but they just directed me somewhere else farther then my town.

An autopsy was performed to determine cause of death. Body was taken to Cassandra's/Kathy's ver of choice and it's conclusive that the puppy was starved, malnourished and possibly neglected (debris were found in his stomach as well as hook worms). Hystopathology report shows there's no evidence of genetic problems that may have caused starvation nor any viral load. The puppy was a healthy dog. All documents attached here. Cassandra never informed me of any issue with puppy, and only contacted me when he was already dead. Cassandra has agreed to pay reinstitution for Gordo and return a second dog of mine under her care. But she has not made a single payment, nor returned my dog or contacted me since then.

Everything is included with the grooming - bath, toenails, ear cleaning, haircut if needed and brushing. I do offer dog training if you would like more information about training feel free to ask me. I can teach dog training either in a group or 1 on 1 with just the owner and the dog, training is done at grooming shop for 6 weeks but if I think your dog needs extra more training I will push it to 8 weeks.
