I have the privilege of working at this beautiful community everyday, our residents are truly "…read moreliving " every minute of each and every day. To be a part of Paramount is to watch the residents admit and excel in their daily living. A non medical look and feel, it is te most affordable community in the area and beyond and our residents are able to age in place. So as their needs increase we move forward with them, skilled nursing care isn't a move that your loved one will have to make. I am thrilled to be a part of a great work family and enjoy watching our community grow every day! This is a must see community if you're searching for your loved one

When my family and I were looking into assisted living communities for our sister, we were…read moreoverwhelmed by the choices and associated costs and amenities available. But when we toured Paramount Senior Living and met with Starla Press, Director of Admissions and Marketing, we were immediately impressed. Starla spent an enormous amount of time patiently answering our questions and asked many, many questions about our sister and her specific needs. Then she went to the hospital the very next day to meet with our sister and talk with her directly. It was so very clear that Starla was interested in making this work for us and our sister - more than any other community that we met with!! So what makes Paramount Assisted Living so special and superior over other similar communities? It's the people. From Starla - to Olivia Perry, LPN, Resident Care Manager - to Shiryl Stanley in accounting... everyone who works there puts the patient and their family first. When I call to ask a question or discuss my sister's care, they go above and beyond to help. They also know who I am and more importantly, who my sister is and how she is doing. This is a beautiful community and my sister raves about the food!!! She looks forward to all of her meals in the dining room and rates then 5-star. My sister went from a picky, non-eater to actually starting to gain a pound! Thank you, Paramount Senior Living, for taking such good care of my sister and caring about your patients and lovely community.

Leaving zero stars!…read more Working for Senior Helpers is terrible. They advertise that you are hired thinking you'll work 40+ hours a week because they tell you that the company has over 150 clients and are constantly onboarding new ones everyday, but the caregivers are begging and fighting for hours. When addressed with management they claim it's because your availability isn't open enough so you change it and nothing happens. You then learn that working overnights is going to get you the most hours so you do that, until one night your at a clients thinking you're having a stroke and the on call service who is AI refuses to transfer you to an actual human and when an actual human calls you it's 7 hours later. You then provide a work excuse and still get told that you're banned from working overnights nights. We also have clients through the VA who have been left without caregivers because they don't have anyone on call for emergencies, meaning bed ridden clients are left alone in their own filth all night. Let alone the company still sending us to abusive clients and making us work in uncomfortable situations because they aren't telling us that clients have a different sort of lifestyle so when showing up and the clients asks if we're comfortable, how are we supposed to say "no" and leave. They also say they pay the caregivers for mileage... they only pay for mileage if a client is your vehicle. And they claim drive time is paid but only over 30 minutes away and it's at 7.25 per hour. Scheduling doesn't know how to use a GPS and doesn't schedule caregivers enough time inbetween clients making the clients and families upset with us caregivers. The owners are husband and wife, with an office manager who is the sister of the one owner, the owners sons girlfriend works in the office and they've hired an Articifical intelligence to run their after hours call center. I've also noticed they've removed every single negative review that's been left. In the almost 5 months I worked for them, 75% of my clients complained about the office staff and scheduling and 25% of them have left. I would not recommend this company as an employer or to care for your loved ones.

NOT ONE PERSON informed me about their financial policy and relationship to treatment. On the day that I thought was planned no one showed up. I called and they said that treatment begins 2 weeks after payment. I had no idea. If they told me I would have been happy to send immediately. The woman on the phone said she could take credit card payment immediately and try to get someone for the next day. They did not On the next call they said they could not come for several days. I am in New York and she is in Lancaster PA alone going out on the road, confused etc. On the day they came (5days after original planned start) they could not get in. Her friend called police and EMS found her under the bed and brought her to the hospital. They apologized for what they called "confusion" but not their neglect. THEY ALSO CHARGED ME FOR THAT DAY!,
