Cool new addition to the DFW craft beer scene. Nice tap room and good beers. Many different styles and all good. My favorite was the Catharsis DDH DIPA. Worth a visit.

My initial perception was positive. The Beers: Hootenfest: a flavorful fest bier. Reminiscent of Rahr's Oktoberfest, which IYKYK Red Door Farmhouse Ale: Not as spicy as I usually like, but it tasty nevertheless Catharsis DDH American IPA: Made with Calista, El Dorado, and Strata hops Nice citric tones, not too dry (which is a good thing) Ephemeral Glow TDH New England IPA: Clean, crisp, slightly hazy IPA (initial favorite) Sevilla Mexican Lager: Hands down the best lager I have ever had! Surprisingly tasty, flavorful lager more reminiscent of a traditional farmhouse ale, don't put your nose up to this one (favorite) knocked my socks off! This beer IMO is the star of the show! Big Horn Helles: was very good beer, i would consider this on a hot summer day Scraps Stash: is a pecan amber ale. The pecan flavor is very subtle, the bartender recommended seasoning with pumpkin spice, i did NOT try it Dark Cherry Cider: is delicious, if your looking for a low ABV option (6%), this is the way to go Tears of Perseus Peanut Butter stout: The highest ABV option at Keyworth at 10% The atmosphere is clean and in inviting. Service: was excellent. The brewer Kevin is very polite and open about the brewery and their business model. They're trying to invoke a Cowtown model. The bartender Kayla was gracious and polite. No food but they have chips and menus from Back Forty that will deliver. Not a fan of Back forty personally.

Very cool spot. Great beers and great service. Highly recommend! Their "That's Just Nuts" Amber with pecans was phenomenal and I consider myself kind of a beer snob. The Ode to Isla Scottish Ale was pretty darn good as well. Would have tried more, but ran out of time.

Not a bad brewery. Nice location, was cold inside though - put the heating on! The beer was alright but I didn't find anything I'd really come back for. They had food menus of other establishments you could order food for delivery from. They also had a paid event going on for half of the brewery. Has potential.

Amazing sunset with a cold one!

Awesome location with friendly owners and great tasking beers! We will be back for more!!!

    Games for the kids!

Great beer, quick service. They had some food options the night we went and the music bingo was really fun.

This is the most welcoming and coolest bar in the world…read more This massive, high-energy outlaw country space is an amazing, unpretentious venue you must see. The double-story building is a large, open Texas beer hall that blends modern and traditional saloon styles with an intentionally eclectic, whimsical vibe reminiscent of a theme park. For instance, the bathroom doors look like jail cells with hands on the bars, while the pristine stalls feature portraits of Merle Haggard and Johnny Cash. I used the Willie Nelson and was "on the commode again". The centerpiece is a huge, three-sided bar adorned with neon signs, vintage Western memorabilia, industrial brewing equipment, and a massive wall of taps. It serves both classics and ready-to-serve frozen drinks, which you can enjoy in the pet-friendly beer garden backyard party. Order you "two pina coladas and hope they fill 'em to the brim if your world is kind of rocky and you need to learn to swim." (That was Garth Brooks or Maya Angelou). The casual, amphitheater-like patio faces an outdoor stage built into the bed of a vintage truck. The live music (even 12:30pm on a Thursday) is loud enough to be festive but managed so you don't have to scream to be heard. The entire area is covered by a massive glass and steel retractable roof, ensuring comfort in any weather, in case you don't "love a rainy night nor think it's such a beautiful sight, and hate to feel the rain on your face, taste the rain on your lips in the moonlight shadows." (That was Eddie Rabbit or SunTzu). The seating options are excellent and varied. Groups can share high-tops around a gas fire or a lit tree, or even sit in kitschy sawed-off pickup truck beds with bench seating. You can also find lounge chairs near the outdoor fireplace, huge swinging benches, and plenty of folding beach chairs on the astroturf. For dining, you can order affordable bar food from a window and receive a pager, so there is no need to "might as well lay down and nap 'cause you've spent half your life just waiting on a nacho." (That was Brad Paisley or Abraham Lincoln).

The drinks were great, the burger was very good and my kids loved the chicken fingers. There were not a lot of cleaner options which would have been nice to have a few wraps or grilled chicken. The kids loved being able to run around, their outside is so great they should consider putting in a small climbing area for the kids. It'll make the parents stay longer aka drinks + food, while the kids have a great time outside. It could be where we sat but the acoustics were really hard to hear the singer who was a sweet older man. The tables also became VERY hot when the sun hit them for too long, so not sure what the solve is but the kids hated sitting because they kept burning their hands.

Atmosphere is nice and open with plenty of bar seats as well as communal high tops and standalone tables. Nice outdoor patio when Texas weather permits! Tried a couple of their beers: Miso Smooth (Japanese rice lager - 5.5% ABV) and Soul Fire Ultra Light (American Light Lager - 3.7 ABV / 15 IBU). Both decent enough for what they were, the latter being helped by the fact it was only $3 a pint. For food, tried the newly opened Zaep Zaep Thai joint. Had the Thai Basil Combo Fried Rice and an order of Spring Rolls. Seriously good stuff! Unexpected quality for a food court! The chef (owner?) also came into the bar to check to see if our food was to our liking. Definitely a nice touch and I wish him much success. Olivia's Scratch Kitchen serving African cuisine was the only other option open. Was a tough decision and hopefully will be back soon to try their offerings! There was also a cupcake place (Kid Kakes) that seems to get great reviews, but with Oak St Pie Company just a few doors down... well... sorry Kid Kakes! At only 20 years old, the bartender did a great job serving us and was more genuinely personable than many who have done the similar job for years. All-in-all a great impulse decision after The Original Roy Hutchins BBQ line ended up being far too long to wait in!
