This place is awful. The workers are rude and if you place a mobile order and they "don't have it" (like a chicken pot pie) they won't give you a refund and trying to contact the app for a refund gets you nowhere. I placed a mobile order for a $7 meal and have been waiting 20 minutes for it. There are also three other cars that have been waiting. It's crazy. I placed my order online at 2:00 to picked up at 4:45. I had assumed they would wait until closer to 4:45 before preparing my order. I could not be more wrong. They obviously prepared it as soon as I ordered it and let it sit on the counter for two hours before I arrived. The chicken and potatoes and gravy were ice cold and the coleslaw was room temperature. That is just pure laziness on the staff. I had to say everything 3 times, and when I pulled out and got home, my order was not what I ordered. I noticed the car in front of me had already been through the line and was getting there order fixed. First time shopper- they did a poor/weird job. The cashier "Stanner" thought I ordered a chalupa when I said the word "quesadilla" I caught it on the receipt and let him know. He told me "I thought you said Chalupa" and I told him that I didn't. My wife was there and backed me up because she heard me order. He then said again that he thought I said Chalupa and was really butt hurt about it. Then they burned the quesadilla pretty badly so maybe he was secretly trying to help me. Wrong items all the way. Ordered two famous bowls with no corn, they gave them no corn, no gravy. I never said I didn't wanted gravy. Ordered a 12 piece fried wings, they gave me wing from the original recipe wings. They are totally different wings. If you don't have the wings I wanted then just say it and don't be wasting my time. This KFC has been awful for years now, slow service, cold food, everyone working there doesn't wanna be there, constantly out of stuff, and what they do have is often nasty. Went there today with a coworker for lunch, I got a Famous Bowl because I thought, "How can they screw THAT up?!" well they found a way. The gravy was basically water and turned my entire bowl in to a soup. My coworker ordered from the Taco Bell side, got a mexican pizza and a crunch wrap. Both were ice cold, not a single piece of cheese was melted, he ended up taking a few bits of the wrap and throwing the rest away it was so nasty. To sum it all up, there's not another KFC around here, but there's a Taco Bell on the other side of 92 at Hwy 5, it's worth the extra trip. If you want KFC, I'd recommend finding a different one, or just hitting up Zaxby's in Town Lake if you need chicken. read more

GRILLED chicken. That's the answer! Instead of the deep fried "used to be" original which is now terrible, try the grilled legs and thighs. It takes 10 minutes for them to prepare but it is well worth your while. The spices are savory and flavorful and the previously steamed chicken is juicy and nice Update; the careful of the 3 foot pot hole in the drive-through. IT goes down at least a foot and a half and you can't miss it when you go arounD. it's been there a while and apparently KFC has no plans on fixing it. read more

Ordered a 8 piece meal original recipe waited in line 15 minutes got to window and they tried to bill me for a 16 piece meal. Then asked me 6 times what my order was. S--L--O--W AND INEFFECTIVE!! My husband and I were ravenous and decided to stop here for something simple, just chicken wings and tacos. This is one of the few places that I can get whole grilled wings so I was pleased to finally see this restaurant. There were minimal cars in the lot and only two in line at the drive-thru. We had an unreasonable wait prior to reaching ordering screen, and I was ready to just leave. Since I was with my husband who has the patience of Jesus, I knew that I would be waiting a while if necessary. I settled in and just bit my tongue We finally made it to the window and things just seemed to get worse. Apparently the guy in the window, although very polite, was very new. We also believe that he was multi-tasking as well, because he would take part of our order step away, come back add another item and step away. We had to repeat our order several times. We finally complete the ordering process and move forward. After a while, everything gets really quiet and I look at my husband who has his head cocked to the side and is staring into space. So I'm thinking: if "Jesus" is starting to zone out, we have definitely been sitting here too long. I suggest that we leave, but you know little Jesus is just hanging in there! We start with the "he's so slow" jokes and after a while it gets quiet again. I'm dying and after another millennium passes, it finally occurs to my husband that there really is a limit to poor and ineffective service.
