These guys have the best wings I've had in the state; however, I decided to stop eating here due to sanitation concerns. Last time I ordered takeout, I came in and the lady at the front counter seemed to be looking for my order. It's a small place, how could my order be lost? A customer comes back in to the building with my order in hand. She had been given my order by mistake. In front of this customer, I am given the Oder she had brought in and her order was given to her. She, the other customer, herself even told me not to accept this food because it went out to her car and it is bad business practice and something could have happened to the food while it was out. Honestly, for this specific woman, I was not concerned because I would judge her to be a good person who would not mess with the food but her point was valid. Anything could have happened to the food after it left the building and not everyone is as nice or honest as she was. The order wasn't quite right anyway, flavor was wrong, so I gave the order back to them and asked for them to remake the order. They took the order to the kitchen and brought my order out within minutes. I can only guess that they took my wings out of the package, tossed them in sauce and put them back. They gave me back the same order. Because I had already paid for the order, had no suspicions about the customer who previously had my order, and needed to leave to get to work on time, I reluctantly took the order. I usually order 1 to 3 times a week via calling in or ordering UberEats and I order the same thing, mild BBQ wings with a coke. The crinkle-cut fries were fried fresh and were plumper and fluffier in texture than many that I've encountered. I'd like to return to try other Mexican specialties. Other reviews mentioned the wings are small, it's true but I didn't think that was a bad thing. The fries were frozen crinkle cut, nothing to get excited about. We also got a side of rice. I was thinking it would be Spanish rice since it was owned and operated by a Hispanic family. Nope, I'm not sure what the deal was with the rice. It was blah with peas and carrots. We ordered to go and the cashier was friendly, we had no communication issues like some others complained about. It took a very long time for our order to come up. Next time we will call ahead.
