She checked on us every 30 seconds!! The food came out super fast!!! This is the place to go for great service & literally fast food! My little one enjoyed her kids chicken nuggets meal. My husband ordered the spicy chicken and waffles with a side of Mac and cheese. He left no crumbs so I assume he enjoyed it!! I ordered the honey pimento sandwich with crispy Brussel sprouts and Mac & cheese. I swear, the honey pimento sandwich at this location was better than at the regular restaurants. I could actually taste and see the honey brushed on the sandwich and I got more than one jalapeño. The Mac and cheese was really good. Lots of crust; aka the good part!! The crispy Brussels sprouts were so good!! Not sure if you can order them in the drive-thru, but I'll be back just for them!! 10/10 service & experience! read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This Truett's Chick-fil-A is the former Dwarf House. It underwent a major remodel in 2021.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It still has a dine-in area to the right and a traditional CFA to the left. Mini people can still walk through the dwarf door which is fun. We elected for dine-in and were promptly seated. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are booths and tables and a small bar to sit[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is a neat train suspended above the dining room and a button near the front door to keep it chugging along.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We perused the menu which has lots of different offerings than a traditional CFA menu. We both opted for the Spicy Chicken & Waffles. The waffles are about the same size as the famous chain with the same name. They are dusted with powdered sugar which is a sweet touch. It was delicious & the chicken was much larger than the breakfast or regular CFA portion so there was plenty of chicken and waffle ratio. I only ate half and bringing the rest home. Christina was super attentive, friendly, and a fantastic listener- even though she was busy. We'll come back to Truett's CFA again! read more

I was asking brief questions about the protein content of the cool wrap menu item in the drive thru (because I need to meet my protein goals, even on cheat day), when I was met with THE WORST attitude I've ever experienced. This woman, Kim (i believe her name was), treated me like a burden for caring about my health. She was sassy, short tongued, and just overall rude. Definitely not something I was expecting from a place that takes pride in southern manners and general service decorum. I've spoken to a few of my friends about this, and they have ALSO been victims of Kim's awful attitude. I had a positive experience at this CFA. There are some scathing reviews and I experience the exact opposite of what was shared- My order was correct, fast, and the staff were attentive and friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I planned on sitting for a while in the restaurant while waiting on an appointment so I chose the more traditional side of the place[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. As you come in the main door, there's an option to have table service on the right or, on the left, order at the counter. Because of the uniqueness of this place being Truett's Grill, I opted for the banana pudding. It was tasty but the small serving size was $4.59- which I think is very steep. read more

What a disappointment! We went to this location and were encouraged to eat on the Truett dine-in side of the restaurant. My original sandwich was served with 2 pickles and no sauce! I had to wait for the server to return to our table to get additional pickles and sauce. If a diner decides to opt for the dine-in service side of the restaurant, the server should have enough sense to ask the diners if there's anything else they would be needing. This is just a dumb concept to charge the customer more money. I won't fall for it again. read more

I didn't get to try any of the cool special items because I got here too late for that menu but I still was glad I stopped by and I will definitely be making a stop here again the next time I'm in the area. If you are any kind of a CFA fan, you have to check this place out. As is usually at any CFA, everyone was nice, the food I ordered was delivered accurately and fast, the food was delicious, and my heart was overall warmed after the experience. Visited this location for lunch on 7/23/24. The food was good but the restaurant was disgustingly dirty. Couldn't find a clean table to sit at so I chose the least dirty one I could find. I had to take some napkins and wipe the table down myself. The floor was also dirty and what really topped it off was a fly that had landed on one of the seats next to me. Please pay attention to the cleanliness of your restaurant, maybe you don't notice but your customers certainly do. Hopefully this was a one off and next time it will be better. read more

My husband is obsessed with chick-fil-a and he has been talking about the sit-in restaurant version called truett's. So we went to the truett's that's literally connected to the chick-fil-a at this location. Overall, there's nothing that's that much different from the menu. Their breakfast and the additional few sides are exceptions. The loaded fries had wayyy too much cheese. Next time I'll only order the regular fries. The salads were good. My daughter's kids meal was perfect some fried nuggets which she only ate a few of but the fresh fruit cup was delicious because she ate most of it. Don't think we'd return but I could see the interest, I just don't understand the hype. However, the location ambiance is cool. Has a map of Atlanta with a functional train that goes around on a track on the ceiling. The customer service is on point. Friendly, courteous and just super flexible which is a rarity now a days. read more

And before Chick-fil-A, there was the Dwarf House When the originator of Chick-fil-A first started out, the original restaurants were called Dwarf House. and had a totally different theme and menu. Back them, they were more like a conventional fast food place with burgers and other items on the menu that area not there today. The Original Dwarf Houses were in the immediate Atlanta area and there were 11 before the company rebranded and went in the direction of the current Chick-fil-A. The 11 restaurants were never completely rebranded and the nostalgia of the original Dwarf House lives on. The first Dwarf House was in Hapeville down next to the Atlanta Airport but the one we went to was in Woodstock Ga, north of Atlanta. Large parking lot with double lanes for quick ordering but we chose to dine it. Walk in and a traditional Chick-fil-A is to your left. To the right is a sign that says "please wait to be seated" Our hostess seated us in a nice dining room and asked if we wanted a menu or wanted to try the buffet. My wife opted for the menu and ordered a Chicken Biscuit and a bowl of Fruit. Bowl of Fruit was very impressive with the variety of fruit and the contrast in colors and taste. I had the buffet and who would have thought that you could be scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage and hash browns at a Chick-fil-A. You can't but you can get it at a Dwarf House. Everything was very fresh unlike most buffets on a steam table. Coffee was excellent. Service was great and in general, was very clean. Love places with a whimsical sense of humor and almost wish that the founders had kept up the Dwarf House theme or at least the menu. read more

This is my go to Chicken fun house. For mornings though the one on Sandy Plains is much faster...but I'm loyal to my peeps here at the CFA Dwarf House. The Dwarf House itself looks like it was built by Bilbo Baggins and taken out of the Shire. Here is a fun fact. Bilgo Baggins was not born in the Shire as many of you believe but in Buckland... don't you feel better about yourself now that you know this... The folks here are super friendly no matter what time of the day. The food is always fresh and most of all they give you those hot crispy waffle fries that you eat half the box by the time you hit highway 92... Hubby and I had a fun dinner tonight at our local Chick-fil-A, which was renovated last year and is now a Truett's Grill. One side is self-serve and the other is full-service. We usually get take-out from the drive-thru at least once a week since we live about 5 minutes away. I just happened to look on the app menu tonight and noticed their Hot Brown. We decided to check it out in person! Apparently, the full service side has been open for 3 weeks, but today was their first day open all day! Serendipity. We ordered the fried pickles, Hot Browns (with side salads) and banana pudding to share. Everything was yummy. (No diet food here!) We will definitely be back! I have no clue why people love this place. The only thing outstanding about here is how fast you get the meal. Not food. My chicken was overcooked and smaller than the bun. The fries were cold and the mac & cheese was nothing near special. The Bride's soup was curdled and cold when she got it. Her grilled cheese was good though. The server was very attentive when he showed up but seeing him was rare. I've never been a fan of the chain and this visit reinforces my opinion. read more

I broke my leg and asked one of the employees to toss out my CFA water cup for me because I couldn't reach a trash can while on crutches while carrying the trash. He said he "wasn't allowed" to help me. I thought CFA would be more understanding. I will not be returning to CFA at least at this location, as they clearly don't have their customers best interest in mind. You think not being able to walk- they'd make sure you could throw away CFA trash properly. Clearly CFA doesn't help individuals in need. Worst chic fila in the area. This one has a "full service" section which is essentially no service. The host dropped menus on the table and just stared at us. After We gave her our order she said " I don't take orders." She then left and came back and said it would be 3 minutes to cook our food. So I got 12 ct nugget and fries to share with son. I got a large water and he got a small water. I took one sip of the water and almost threw up. I have had serious diarrhea ever since. Pretty sure the water or ice is contaminated. Luckily I stopped my son from drinking his water. Nobody likes a toddler with diarrhea. I called the store immediately and the idiot who answered the phone said the nasty sewer flavor was from the power aide tap. I told him that was a stupid excuse and he needs to get maintenance to check the water supply lines or cleaning habits. I'm obsessed with the lemonade, but I don't order it very often since it's so sweet. My favorite food items are the Chicken Minis (omg), and the spicy chicken sandwich. Over the summer they had a Watermelon Mint Lemonade and it was incredible! I hope it comes back this year! My only con is that I don't like the franchise's fries at all. read more

We've always wanted to check out the breakfast buffet and it didn't disappoint. To avoid the crowds we dropped in on a summer Friday with the grandson and found the bar well stocked with scrambled eggs, sausage links, fried chicken pieces, bacon, biscuits, gravy, grits, home fries, etc. Everything was fresh and hot and the staff was friendly and attentive. The price is fair, although the value would better server bigger appetites as nobody in our party could really eat more than a single serving.
