She says the man who took my order shouldn't be working there. Then she disappeared and I waited and waited some more. Finally, she comes back and tells me they are out of chicken. Wow! And not in a good way. Who cares about reviews for fast food? But every now and then an experience is so bad, it warrants a complimentary review. I arrived at the drive through, with no one else around. I sat waiting until I shouted hello. The person who eventually answered sounded stoned. And she didn't bother to speak up. I was unable to hear her. I ordered a four piece meal, with fries, abd ketchup. Literally the simplest and most basic KFC meal. The girl didn't ask me what kind of chicken i wanted. So a safe assumption would be....original?!?! Right?!?! Oh boy. I was asked to pull over, my food would be right out. Wait, what? Pull over. Why? Wtf. There is still no one else but me in the drive through. 4 pieces of chicken. Are you kidding me?! So i pull out and wait. 10 minutes go by. There is one car in the lot. No one else arrives at the drive through. It's crickets.... I reverse back up to the window. Another girl stares at me like i'm from another planet when i ask her what's going in. I'm utterly confused. I'm asked again to pull over, my food will be right out. PULL OVER WHY?!?! THERE's LITERALLY NO ONE ELSE HERE. I pull over. About 2 minutes later a guy came out with my food. I ordered a 12 piece and was cheated out of breasts. Also the chicken was old and has been setting around for awhile. The meat was dark in color, do they change the fryer vats or does it cost too much. Ordered an all dark meat 16 piece bucket, waited 15 mins and by the time we got home we realized there was only 8 pieces. Went back and one of the workers said he thought we ended up ordering the 8 piece... uhm no, we did not pay almost $30 for an 8 piece meal. Have been here multiple times, something usually goes wrong. Had a few undercooked bloody pieces (not quite sure how they managed that?), or they give the wrong parts of chicken (we always order dark meat), or they always give the change back way less than what we should've gotten (they always apologize but its been multiple times now). Management is to blame, I believe. They need to train their workers better. It is not the service people expect when they want fast food. While I don't expect it to be perfect, the lack of workability is unreasonable. I swear, the KFC on Gregg here in Big Spring is definitely the WORST restaurant that I have ever been to. EVERYTIME that they advertise any kind of sales on food going on, THIS KFC will not honor it, and they try to lie and say there is no sale. My daughter in law just went there because they are advertising $3 KFC Bowls, but they just charged her regular price. When she called them on it they said it was because she didn't order it right, and they didn't even bother to try to make it right. This happened the last time they were on sale too, they said there was no sale going on for the $3 Bowl, and it was even on their site on Yelp!These employees are also the RUDEST people that I have ever dealt with.There is never a "please, can I help you" or never once have they ever said "Thank you and come back again". I have never heard them say Thank you, period. Plus, don't ever try to call theming the phone, because they NEVER answer the phone at all. It will ring about 12-15 times, you'll get a busy signal and then it will hang up. If I can get the phone# I am going to call corporate. Loved KFC as a kid used to eat there a lot had to quit. The Big Spring TX KFC was bad! Real bad! The worst! Saw the new add campaign tried it again on the 2nd of July 2016. The employees were great not like before! They were horrible about the same as most if not all fast food employees in Big Spring TX. The store is a little better now. It's still kinda dirty I could tell the employees had tried to clean. After several years of service time to call a professional cleaning service!
