My wife and I make it a habit to stop at KFC every time we are in Canon City. What can I say- we love the spicy chicken sandwiches! Each time we go the staff has been great- friendly, fast and courteous. Our orders have been prepared quickly and brought out to our table. As we were leaving today staffer Chris saw that my wife was disabled and rushed over to hold the door open for us- service over and above in my book. The place is small, as has been mentioned by others, but is clean and inviting. With the great food and service we'll keep coming back. read more

Ordered thighs got breast. The manager stated the pices were too small for breast they were thighs. I pointed to the ribs and said thighs don't have the rib cage attached and is dark meat this is clearly white meat. And also the Mac and cheese was ice cold. John yelled at my wife in the drive thru yesterday telling her they do not have the 8 PC thighs and that many employees have been written up for providing this to customers. With this new manager John, you folks will be losing a lot of business. John is not a professional, unless he was going to be a circus worker. That would be a better career for him. Ordered online, paid by CC. When I got there, KFC advises they have not received an order. Came home, printed receipt and called. The usual questions... are you sure you ordered at the correct KFC? (only one KFC in town) Order number, time, etc. Spent $26.03 and got NOTHING. Checked with CC company and the charge did appear and go through. RIDICULOUS!! read more

I love that we have a KFC again in Cañon! This one is newly built and shiny :). We generally order in the app and pick up - easy peasy. It is in fast food row off Highway 50, near Raynolds. We have had consistent service and great food since they opened. Happy to have them! read more

I came in around lunch time and even with a lunch rush, the food was sent out in a speedy manner. Nicole is the best hostess, cashier, and employee here. She's friendly and patient and quick to clean anything that might get messy. When the elderly customers came through, she delivered their food to their table with napkins and forks so avoid straining them. Service is superb. read more

Employees were very kind! The mashed potatoes tasted OK but not great but everything tasted pretty well! Place was clean

So KFC is back in town. Went there a little while after the fan fair wore off. Ordered the four piece meal with mashed potatoes and gravy ,coleslaw and of course a biscuit came with it. So it took a little while to get our order (they weren't very busy )but alas it came. I opened the little container with the mashed potatoes and gravy ,what I got was lava. I mean the mashed potatoes and gravy were so hot they fused into something that was inedible, It was just a brownish glob steaming in the container. The chicken was way overcooked the wing was just charred batter with what used to be meat and the drum stick was no bigger than my thumb. The biscuit literally crumbled a part in my fingers and it was very dry, the butter and honey couldn't even revive it. On the one minuscule positive, my wife did like the coleslaw. Overall a very disappointing experience at our local Cañon City Kentucky Fried Chicken. I would rather not patronize this restaurant again and I recommend you don't. read more

AT LONG LAST KFC RETURNS TO CANON CITY!! Thank the heavens!! I have always wondered why the last KFC closed but I am happy for the return. Since it's return I have patronized this establishment twice. Ordering buckets both time and having the best chicken the colonel intended. I will always return to KFC for my chicken needs. Here's the issue and I don't believe I'm alone. It has nothing to do with this particular KFC in Canon but nationwide. The sides SUCK!! Period, end of discussion. Powdered mashed potatoes and powdered Mac and Cheese YUCK!! It's like they said...ok here's the best fried chicken in the world but here mix it with this other shit we serve with it and suck it up. I'm just saying McDonalds had the Big Mac and Fries which are out of this world. Could KFC maybe spend a little more money on R&D for their sides? read more

This is the nicest KFC I've ever been to. It's small but well run and the food is the best of any KFC I've visited. The restrooms are clean and well kept and the background music is great for us in their 40's - 50's. There are also interesting pictures and facts displayed on the walls which made it kinda fun. read more

Always weary of new establishments and the ability to maintain high standards. They have started off on the right foot! Super fast service and the food came as advertised and fresh/hot. All the staff was attentive and happy, a rarity these days. I gave 5 stars because they earned it on all levels. Keep up the good work KFC Canon City. read more
