I have been coming here for a while. The place is clean, the food is fresh and accurate. It's as good as it get for a KFC so yep 5 Stars. Although why does this place have such a low star rating? At the time of this review it's only 1 1/2 star establishment. It definitely deserves more than that. It's not as bad as some places in the city, it's not even bad at all. So why such a low score? This place suffers from the 1-review yelper. People in the suburbs who only review things when they are bad, it's unfortunate. I came here a few times over the years, truth be told because the last KFC by me (in the gallery mall) shut down years ago. I have come here when we were expecting blizzards the next day, I have come hear close to closing, and I have come here during lunch. My experiences were as follows: It has always been clean. Sometimes the service is slow for fast food, but it's not slow in the usual sense of the word. If you come 1 hour until closing they are going to run out of certain pieces of chicken. They have always gotten my order right. The chicken is always fresh and hot. In short, I have always enjoyed my visits here, that's why I make the drive from Old City out to this KFC in Delaware County. That should speak volumes to the service and quality at this location. read more

After several bad experiences at this particular Clifton Heights location for some reason I still seem to continue to go here. But today was my last time! After placing my order and waiting in the line for a ridiculously amount of time, it was only two cars in front of me, when I finally reached the take out window. The manager (I assume that is who this older gentleman was) informed me the car in front of me purchased the last of the chicken. Saying she bought a lot of chicken. I'm sorry we don't have anymore chicken. Then asked me did I still want my beverages? I declined, I said can I just have a large wedges? He didn't even offer to give them to me complementary. Very bad customer service. Sir I was literally in your drive through line for a extensive amount of time. Went October 1st. As a former KFC/Taco Bell worker, I can honestly say, their customer service leaves MUCH to be desired. How are they doing so much business with their Drive-thru board having no lighting? I saw a customer get out of their car with a flashlight to read the board. When it was our turn to order, the person taking orders had an attitude when we mentioned the lights were out and was huffing and puffing as if she couldn't be bothered while taking our order. Thankfully, the young man who we paid and got our order from was harried but pleasant. The food was fresh and hot. I will say that. My honey bbq wings were on point! I thought my mac and cheese was, too, until I came across staples in it. I nearly bit the staple. So, we went back--and had to deal with that SAME order taker whose attitude hadn't improved any and when told of the situation screamed, "We don't even have staples in here!," all the while huffing and puffing. We asked for a replacement and that seemed to irk her more. At the checkout window, my S/O asked to speak to the manager to explain the situation. Had I behaved like either of those two when I worked at my store, my store manager would have had my head and my hours if I couldn't get right to do my job! Why do I keep coming back here? Well, that's easy. If I need a KFC fix, this is the closest one to me. So I've put up with their mistakes and horribly mismanaged store for a while. But last week did me in forever. When you order a 10 piece bucket of grilled chicken, and you get home to find 8 pieces in it, that's the last straw. The people who work here should be embarrassed. The people who run this location should be more embarrassed. I've had more mistaken orders here than anywhere else. Don't trust this place. They've done nothing to earn any trust. read more

The website tells you to go through drive thru if lobby door is locked. I did. They told me to go out front. No problem. I can deal with that. Then at the door the guys couldn't find my order. The people were great and really seemed to try. They said the computer wasn't working properly. Ok. I am a patient man. As I waited at the door two people came to check my phone to see the order. After 25 minutes, I get the food. I should have checked it then. I get home and half the order is missing. Not happy whatsoever. read more

This KFC/Taco Bell combo is bad. The food isn't as good as most KFC or Taco Bell places. The workers clearly don't care about product quality and, after giving it 4 or 5 tries, I'm pretty sure they don't care about customer satisfaction either. They seem to always be out of something and God forbid I'd go and get tacos or a damn burrito, it takes them, on average, 3 times longer to make and bag up a shitty taco. Thee worst KFC I have ever had the displeasure of visiting. They simply just don't care. I have been here on multiple occasions and have never been in line less than 15 mins. Normally, I wouldn't wait that long, fortunately for them, they continue to make money by trapping drivers in their drive-thru lane, You cant get out once your in! Even if you are the only car there, you still wait on average 15 mins, no matter what you order. I have been there around dinner time, and was told there was no chicken. I've been there a little later in the evening and told they were no longer making chicken. Hello? You are KFC right? They consistently botch orders, you MUST check your order before you leave. The food just isn't as good as a most KFC's and the taco bell side is always sloppy, like someone just threw the food in a wrapper and rolled it up. It is edible though. You don't get napkins or sauce unless you request it at the window and often you get an attitude for asking - like they don't have time to throw those things in the bag,, come on.. After 20 minutes of waiting on the side of their building I decided to knock on the door ( no inside customers, only drive through) once to be greeted by the manager in a totally unprofessional and aggressive manner. This is a priceless treasure in Delco, said no one ever. Absolutely the worst run KFC that I have ever been to, and I have been to a lot of stores in this chain. I mean what kind of KFC runs out of chicken in the afternoon and stays open! Seriously! Do you know of someone who comes to KFC not for chicken! Slow service here for whatever reason, and be sure to double check your order when you finally get it, especially if you're in the drive-thru. Definitely a busy location, but I really don't know why. ABSOLUTLEY HORRIBLE!!! I've given this Taco Bell chance after chance! Yesterday was the last! I ordered a couple of hard and soft tacos, which were ok, then I ordered nacho bel grande for the kids... As much as I like the food, I don't think I'll go back to that KFC again! Every time I go there, there's always a problem. I had to repeat my order at LEAST 10 times to the cashier. It's like she wasn't even listening to me each time or she really just didn't care. Then she would keep asking me questions that I had already answered. It wasn't even crowded and the wait was TERRIBLE. I felt bad for lady in front of me. After she ordered and paid, the same incompetent employee told her that they didn't have any part of her order ready and she would have to wait at least 10 minutes. I was given the wrong change. They never gave me the cups that came with the meals. Most of the people in the kitchen weren't wearing gloves. It was so sad. And when I asked if I could just get my money back (after waiting about 15 minutes), the same employing yelled at me saying "noooo I'll get your food!" in a very whiny tone. Just had a bad experience. Went through the drive thru n had to wait ten minutes for hot wings. I got home and the box is full of fries! They said they would give me double the amount of hot wings if I come back but I just want my money. I would prefer not to have to go there at all. I went to this KFC because the one in broomall gets my order wrong constantly, sometimes they dont even know what their own food products are when you order them. This one wasnt much better, they got my order wrong, and when I got it the food was cold which never happened before at a kfc. Since I have only been there once in drive through I wont give it 1 star, I havent been to kfc since though, along with burger king(s) they give the worst service in this area. Zero stars would be my choice, this place is beyond horrific. It took a total of 20 minutes to go through the drive thru. The car in front of me was trying to order simple chicken combos, they of course were out of most things and from what I could hear had refused to make it offering only choices of what was left. I ordered a 6 piece chicken bite.... Should be simple. No, it took the them what felt like forever to actually get them once I got to he window. The quality was really bad, they were clearly old, as they were dried out and hard ( the dog didn't even want them). The service was terrible too, the drive thru person had an attitude, was rude and clearly didn't care. This KFC has really bad customer service. When I arrived there was a that had ordered via drive thru and was told to pull of to the side and her food would be brought to her. I walked inside to find no one at the counter to take my order and another customer that had been waiting for the rest of her meal. While reviewing the menu the customer from outside (drive thru order) came into the store for her order, she had been waiting in her car for over 25 minutes. When I finally placed my order the printer went down and would not print my receipt. I felt bad for Anthony (the kid working behind the counter taking my order) because he asked for help and no one showed up. This kid kept apologizing for some thing that clearly wasn't his fault. The lack of management and the time it took for some one to assist him was ridiculous. Almost 10 minutes for a receipt and when I finally got it was told that it would be an additional 15 to 20 minutes until I get my order. The management here really needs to be reevaluated and a kudos for Anthony who was visibly bothered by the challenges he was presented with and the lack of support from his coworkers.
