Alriiiight! It sounds like I'll be the dissenting voice here, given all the negative reviews for this KFC location. I usually tend to eat healthy, but once in a while I have cravings for fried chicken. While Ding-a-Wing, Chica's Chicken and Dave's Hot Chicken offer great fried chicken nearby, KFC is more budget friendly. I've been coming for take out at this KFC location during the pandemic, and their food is generally speaking good. Fried chicken does not look like roadkill (as I experienced in a different location), sandwiches are OK and satisfy my cravings (although they have to be eaten immediately for best experience, if I wait to eat when I get home, they are meh). I always order online and then pick up at the store. They only start preparing the order once I get to the store; it has never been ready for pick up when I get there, but I don't mind, as then I know it is freshly prepared. Service is generally good; so far, only once I had poor service from the person behind the counter. Limited parking on the premises. The area is served by TTC lines 66A and 80. read more

This is a tiny KFC. It's a little confusing walking in as there are a set of doors to get you in and a set to get you out. I can't see the use of this system as there doesn't seem to be a large enough crowd to warrant this kind of crowd control. I was picking up lunch for the office so I ordered a family meal. Colonel Sanders would be rolling over in his grave at what became of KFC in Canada. I have no idea where they source their chicken from but these are some of the smallest pieces of chicken I've ever encountered. This is a general comment not just this store. I get KFC maybe once a year but always from various locations. My daughter and I decided to go to the KFC on the Queensway for the first time in almost a decade.The last time I went to the Queensway location, the food wasn't bad, and if I remember correctly, it was in a detached store with a bucket of chicken on a pole outside. When we got there, we found out that the store had relocated about a block east in a storefront in a small strip mall. We ordered the Mighty Bucket for two. Anyway, my daughter said her popcorn chicken and fries were fine (her share). However, three of the four pieces of chicken were overcooked and one was missing a patch of skin. An inch of the bone in the drumstick was bare. The thigh was dry and tiny. So was the wing. Ironically, the only somewhat moist piece was the breast. My fries were average and the tenders were just a tiny bit on the dry side, but not nearly as dry and overcooked as the chicken. My favorite item at KFC is the chicken so this was a huge disappointment for me. I suspect that the chicken had been in the fryer/warmer for too long. I would recommend that the staff be instructed to throw out chicken that is dry and overcooked. It was no wonder the place was pretty well empty at 5:25 p.m. It's a case of saving a penny and losing a pound. I still like KFC but I will never go to that location ever again. read more

We received our order promptly but got shorted a piece of chicken (skin only), the chicken we did get was dry, flavorless, and clumped together, and my husband has horrible gut rot after eating it. As far as I know this was the first KFC in Toronto. I've had KFC from other locations and it hasn't been as good quality as the Queensway location. Whenever I get a craving for the stuff I come here. They just moved to a new location a couple of blocks east after about 45 years of being at the original location. Getting in and out of their door is better but finding a place to park is a bit harder. read more
