You expect fast food to have low stars. Still, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Some of the worst fast food in Everett. Sometimes the chicken is undercooked, sometimes it is overcooked, and sometimes it tastes like they cooked it twice and it's soaked in dark oil. Needless to say it often tastes terrible. The only reason I've come back a number of times in the last year is because twice it has been heavenly, so I know it is possible for them to make a good meal. Almost every time something is missing from my order. I always get the chicken tenders and sometimes they don't give me the correct number of pieces. There is huge variance in the size of the tenders, so sometimes your meal is a fair bit smaller than expected. Sometimes I don't get the dipping sauce, and sometimes I don't get the roll. They have also forgotten my soda, and tonight they handed me a box with no plastic bag so crumbs got all over my seat. Needless to say the crazy inconsistency has led me to leave this terrible review. Save yourself the grief and don't come here unless you have an absurd once a year craving for KFC. I used to go to KFC about 3 times a month for my favorite $5 fill up. Prices of course have to go up sometimes, I get that... But wow, the chicken pieces on the mashed potatoes bowl has been so gross lately. Overcooked on the breaded outside and chicken tasted like rubber. I decided to do a chicken sandwich taste test for lunch today of all the local fast food restaurants. KFC was the last location I stopped at. While this KFC location is a little on the shabby side and was the least busy of all the places I went, the service was the best. The woman at the window was very friendly and was incredibly genuine in her conversation. Not like most of the other places I visited, where I had been treated as a number that they were trying to push through as fast as possible. The sandwich I ordered was about the same price as everywhere else. It was smaller around but much thicker than the other sandwiches. It was incredibly messy with sauce dripping out as I opened it, glad for the pile of napkins they included in my bag. Over all it was a fine sandwich, not the best nor the worst. I think the issue here is too much sauce. Everyone knows the taste and quality of KFC, why take away from that with a bunch of sauce. I don't normally go to KFC for lunch but I may try it again, simply because of the service. read more

Walked in for a takeout order and had the staff talking shit about drive through customers not 3 feet away from me. Order was wrong, as usual. There were people who do not work there behind the counter and in the office, this was evident based on them asking employees where the bathroom was. Nothing in the lobby was stocked - no napkins, condiments, side cups, lips, straws, etc. Kitchen and lobby we're both filthy, and don't even get me started on the bathroom. The Indian lady that works drive thru had A bad attitude. She was very short when I was telling her I couldn't understand her, really I think partially it was the speaker cutting out and her mumbling. I don't appreciate being treated so rudely. When I pulled up to the window of course her attitude continued with a nasty look and an very rude Okay. I will be complaining to management as soon as my phone call goes through. There are some days when you just give up. When all your better intentions try to fly out the window, but having not realized it was closed and really clean, smack right into it breaking their little necks and falling to the floor in a pathetic twitching heap. Today I was in meetings all day. The type where you are expected to think a bunch even though the room is much warmer than it should be, and to topic is one you have spent five other full days discussing previously. And what was there to busy the mind? Only donuts. And chips. And soda. And cookies. A dismal day for diets. After work, I ventured forth for dinner plans with a friend. Or so I thought. But alas, before dinner was ready came an awkward moment where it was made clear it was time for me to leave. Eh? Had I misinterpreted the situation? Worn out my welcome? Hungry and confused, I found myself adrift in Everett with an hour to get myself to my next appointment in Seattle. Already the day wash a wash dietarily, so I just didn't even bother trying to eat right. I drove until I saw the KFC, and got into a very long line of cars to partake. It was definitely the longest I have ever waited for "fast" food. The guy at the window was nice enough, and apologized for the wait. But he made no excuses for the meal I was about to ingest. Pathetically hungry, I drove and tried to eat, but gave up and stopped at the rest stop. Why there is a rest stop in the middle of Everett I've never really understood. For sad moments like this I guess. And possibly for men to cruise each other, judging by the lingering I witnessed while eating. The chicken had good flavor, but consisted of the three smallest chicken strips to ever try and pass for a meal ever. The mashed potatoes were bland bland bland. And the mac and cheese was unreal, in the worst possible way. Glowing orange and gooey, I ate every terrible bite of it. That will teach me. Tomorrow I return to healthy living, I swear! 1st Yelp review but had to do it just went to KFC on Evergreen Way to pick up some dinner. We usually visit that location a few times a month for years. Tonight we went through the drive thru after ordering a 9 piece bucket, a spicy chicken sandwich. We pulled up to the drive through and the person working the window handed me the food. I immediately checked it to make sure the Oder was correct and noticed the coleslaw was a tiny amount. i told the person working the window that for $6.99 it should at least be 1/2 full. He said that is how much we give (3 scoops). Honest to God it looked like 3 tiny spoonfuls. I told him we frequent this KFC all the time and the amount is not normal. This is when the attitude started he said that is it and went to shut the window. Before he closed the window I asked could you please just redo the coleslaw and he said NO. i told him this was a problem since this was a large coleslaw and the amount in the container would be enough for 1 person. Since he would not remedy the order, I said that I did not want it, he said NO I WILL NOT GIVE YOU A REFUNd. I said but I don't want it, he said too bad. At this point I told him since I paid by card I would contest the charges and he said that was stealing. At the point I asked for the manager and he said there was none there. I said could I get your name please and he said no. I was flabbergasted! There was a young woman standing behind him and I asked her if he treats most customers like this. She mouthed "all the time" and nodded her head yes. At that point my husband had heard enough, he was sitting in the passenger seat and he raised his voice and said a swear word so I knew there was no resolving it. The guy shut the window and we left. This is a whole lot over coleslaw but I have NEVER had an interaction like that before. I truly believe having this employee is a detriment to KFC, maybe he is a good cook but he should never be front of the house dealing with customers. So I was curious to try the new hot chicken. I waited in line at the drive through for about 15 minutes with zero progress. Backed up, parked and went inside to order. Stood at the counter for 5 minutes as employees counted change, wandered around, stared at me, etc. Asked if someone would like to take my order - got no response. Left. I know it takes a minute to fry chicken. I know it's fast food. I know it's not the best of the best working behind the scenes, but really? Being ignored is even more unforgiveable than bad food. Our drive thru experience was stressful and frustrating. The speaker kept breaking up and the woman at the counter couldn't hear me- having to repeat myself several times. As for the chicken and sides, the chicken was dark dark brown and tasted horrible. I think the oil they use to fry the chicken was old. The sides tasted like any other classic KFC sides would taste, besides the fact that it was luke warm. Overall, definitely not worth $40. read more

I've been here three times. Every single time they've messed up my order. This last time, I checked the order and was missing an eight piece biscuit...out of a sixteen piece dinner. I drove back through the drive through and the older Mexican lady asked me to give all of the food back. She proceeded to take all of my food out of the bags and check....clearly making sure that I wasn't lying. FAST food means I drive up, YOU have it ready. Max wait time should be under 3 minutes. If it takes 10-20 minutes I COULD DO IT AT HOME! The whole point of someone driving up to get food is to not have to do it at home. I rarely see your facility 'packed', so unless you wanna go out of business soon, you better start stepping up to the plate. I've Never been to this location before, and kindof know why now. I'll start by saying that the food was exactly as I expected for KFC so I can't be mad at them got that. But there is a few things odd with this place. I sat and ate in their dining room and the entire time a Hispanic woman was screaming and cussing in Spanish from the kitchen. Her load, obnoxious voice overpowered the entire place. And she continued to walk into the dining area on her phone later screaming and being loud some more.
