I had quite an interesting experience here! The vibes inside give grunge-y, Brooklyn vibes (accurate haha). I opted for a slice of the hot Hudson since the slices looked fat af. We ordered, took our number, and sat down at a table. 30 minutes later, we still have not received our 3 single slices of pizza. Customers who came in way later has already gotten their slice, eaten it, and left at this point. So I go up to the counter to ask about it. Turns out they had messed up w the tickets so they lost our order :c oh well, not like we had anywhere to go. But a couple minutes later, one of the workers comes by saying they comped our meal! Super super nice of them. Pizzas themselves were really good. The crust was especially yummy: crispy and thin. And I loved the ricotta cheese on the Hudson. My usual go-to is a Maui Wowie at Sahara Pizza (5 stars). However, this time I wanted to keep it simple and go New York style. I got a slice of the Bowery (sausage & pepperoni). It really doesn't compare to others. It stands on its own. It was light yet delicious and I can't get over how delicate the thin layer of crunch you get when you bite into it. Honestly, this is like the best pizza place I've ever been to. We went together with like 25 youth after ice skating and they let us in, seated us together, and were really quick with service. Found this place on a whim while craving pizza. Never heard of the place before though. Inside was kinda cool with graffiti all over the wall. The lady at the counter was super helpful in explaining all of their lunch special options (there is 4). Grabbed a two slice and soda lunch special. Had a Bowery and Pepperoni. Pizza took 4 minutes from payment to come out. Came out piping hot too! For me, it had the perfect ratio of protein, cheese, and dough. 12/10 will be back again! read more

They were BUSY before an event at the Angel of the Winds. Long line and seating is challenging, waiting for people to leave but we found seating well before our pizza arrived. This spot came up and the words "pizza slice" & beer along with a photo of a gorgeous slice led me to tell our group this is where we should stop. Close to the highway and on the way to Vancouver, we parked on the road, walked in, and stood in line waiting to order. We arrived at a good time since happy hour was in effect which is deals on pizza and beer. Pizza is "new york style"; probably not the real thing but pretty close to it. Pizza is available by the slice or whole (thick or thin crust). Premade pizzas were on display which gave us ideas of what slices we wanted. I decided on the Bayridge (pepperoni, mushroom, red onion), a pretty good slice that hit the spot. I paired it with a Bodhizafa IPA, a local hoppy beer. Goes well with it. There were a couple slices my friends ordered that I was a bit envious of such as the Hudson with the sausage and creamy ricotta. But I'm satisfied with what I ate. This is a low key, lil casual pizza shop. Graffiti decor. Previous reviews solid. Stopped here for the first time with a group, on our way for a road trip to Canada. Parking- no designated lot. But there is a paid lot across the street. Which we did. You may luck up on street parking. It appeared to have a lot of regulars stop in and out, that boades well at any place. We arrived in time to catch there happy hour deals, which is worth it. Food- I went with the slice + beer, happy hour special , cost around $7 bucks. Staff is always super friendly. They do not always have a huge selection available for slices, depends on time of day. I don't recommend coming late for dinner or lunch for this reason. The salad was delicious and filling, even for two people. Super crowded, but expected. Finding a seat is a challenge as there is standing room only. This place is usually packed anytime I am in the area. While I am not a NYC pizza expert I have had most of the greats in NYC and along Long Island. Having said that, stopped in for a slice of cheese pizza - by the slice. Service was quick, crust was excellent. However. I don't care much for the pizza. Brooklyn Bros. Pizzeria was an unplanned stop which turned out to be a great find. We just landed in Seattle and needed a quick bite on our way to Vancouver. We found this spot which was close to the highway and looked to be pretty fast casual. Finding it was easy as it sits on a corner of an old building that has lots of character. Parking was a lot across the street or street parking. Walking in, the place is pretty large with high ceilings and plenty of seating in two different areas. Customer service was great. The guy behind the counter handled the lines with ease and had no problem giving great suggestions. We showed up during happy hour which happened to have some awesome deals. What they claim to do here is authentic New York style pizza. This is far from New York but I gotta say, this was pretty damn close to the real thing. They sell pizza by the slice or whole in either a Sicilian (thick crust) or Napoletana (thin crust). They also have starters like salad, flatbreads, or breadsticks. If you aren't feeling a slice, you can also order a calzone. We weren't looking to get super full so we went with stuff off the happy hour menu which had things like a slice and a beer, or a couple of slices and a fountain drink, etc. I went with two slices and a fountain drink. If you go with a slice, they have premade pizzas on display and they just throw a slice in the oven. Even at home I always reheat pizza in the over to get that perfect crunch. I went with the Bowery (pepperoni, Italian sausage and roasted garlic), and the Hudson (Italian sausage, roasted red peppers, ricotta, and roasted garlic). The slices were large and they came out piping hot. I went in on the Bowery first. This was good. It had a nice crisp crust and the toppings were flavorful. I could've used a few more slices of the cupped pepperoni though. The Hudson was my favorite though. It had plenty of sausage but the addition of creamy ricotta was a nice touch. Overall, I will say this place definitely brought me back to having a slice in NYC recently. Of course nothing compares to having the real deal, but this was a close second. Worst service we've ever experienced at a restaurant. We ordered three slices of pizza and waited an hour with no food. We ended up leaving and were late to an event because of the delay. What made it worse was the manager's response--there was no acknowledgment of the delay until after we inquired about our order multiple times, and even then there was no real apology or effort to make things right. We had to ask for a refund ourselves before leaving, and never even got to try the pizza we'd heard good things about. Really disappointing experience. We won't be coming back. Have been going to the (now closed) Mill Creek location for years, and occasionally to the Everett location. Came in to the Everett one and asked whether a particular pizza was vegetarian. They assured me it was, but when they brought it out, it had pepperoni in it. Was told a half salad was big enough to share, but when it arrived, it only filled about half the plate. Not really much bigger than a side salad, but priced much more. I told the server it was way smaller than what I had always gotten at Mill Creek, and that I had also gotten this at Everett recently and it was much larger. Server insisted they had not changed the serving size, but that was obviously not the case. We told them when we ordered that we wanted an extra plate to share the half salad (thinking it was as big as it used to be on all recent visits). They did not bring an extra plate, and we had to ask again. Pretty expensive for how small the salad was. Also, even though there were obviously two people ordering/at the table, they put both slices of pizza on one dinner plate, so we had to ask for another plate for that. Service was not good, and communication was obviously not good for our orders. Overpriced for what we got, incorrect information given about the ingredients on the pizza, and poor communication/service. I'm disappointed in what used to be a "go-to" place. I usually go to the one in downtown Everett. I must say I do love their pizzas a bit on the pricy side so I use it as a treat for myself and the family. But in retrospect you get what you pay for. Again one of the best pizzas I've had. The staff is friendly and most of them are cheerful but all of them are so helpful when it comes to questions. Service was excellent. I was provided ice water while waiting. I opted not to purchase a drink after the steep price tag for my order was tallied up. I arrived shortly after the Mill Creek store opened. Ambiance: Brooklyn artifacts/photos were nice. Place was immaculately clean. Who ever closed last night did a good job. Ordered one slice of a three topping pizza and a calzone. To go. Wait time was 18 minutes. Food was hot and well packaged. The cost of a calzone and one slice was over 21.00. Expensive. The slice: crust was crispy. A noticeable crunch at every bite and while chewing. Sauce was rich but definitely not balanced: the garlic smothered it resulting in an inability to taste the other toppings. I thought maybe the slice had garlic on it. But I tasted the enclosed dipping sauce for the calzone. Same heavy on the garlic flavor. Also, I'm from the Brooklyn area and have never had a crunchy crust pie. Ever. Not thrilled with the slice at all. On the plus: slice size was generous. The cornicione, the raised part of a pizza slice, was defined and I could tell it had ample raise time. Crust flavor was good and I could fold the slice in my hand. It took a bit of doing. The dough was rigid. I checked the undercarriage and it looked perfectly cooked. The calzone: size was slightly smaller than I'm used to but the shape was spot on what you would experience in Brooklyn. The West Coast pizza communities have a calzone perversion - shaping it in various ways. It it unrecognizable as a calzone. This one was spot on. It was cooked perfectly. The cheeses were perfect. Once you've grown up on Polly O mozzarella you can tell the difference. Good flavor. However, any calzone I've had in NY/Brooklyn always included a couple slices of ham. Typically sweet. Not smoked. This calzone had no ham. One can typically order additional fillings. Not at this establishment. So pleasantly surprised at the flavor but disappointed about no ham. The garlic infused dipping sauce was overpowering. Typically a marinara sauce the screams fresh tomatoes and is slightly sweet is used to complement the cheeses. Again: way over the top with the garlic infused dipping sauce. I've been strongly encouraged by my East coast family and friends to voice a pattern with all pizza establishments I've patronized in Washington. That pattern is price. With no exception, the prices have been mind numbing. I know the cost of living here is high. But the prices being charged for pizza or what they call a calzone, is astronomical. People gotta make a living. I understand that. So I'll continue to scout out the pizza joints to do reviews but I'll render my own humble version at home. Do try the calzone. And have some marinara ready for dipping. read more
