We stopped by for take out. Big mistake. We got it home and after the top chicken pieces were removed we were greeted by chicken with little to no breading and about 1/4 inch of grease in the bottom. You can see it in a picture I posted. One coleslaw was warm which suggests to me it was setting out a while. The other was cold so that really suggested one had been left out. We were also one biscuit short. The fries were GREASY and cold. We called to talk to a manager and she said if we came back they would replace it. My wife went back and was given a hard time and excuses. We were told the chicken had been put in the bucket too soon after frying. Plus it was tough and rubbery. Ok... now explain the warm coleslaw, the cold greasy fries and lack of counting skills of the staff. The manager was also rather put out to help us out. Not that great. The chicken was not bad but my Mac and cheese honesty tasted like it was made with water out of a garden hose. I mean it was bad. I can eat just about anything. I'm not real picky. But I could not force myself to take another bite. Plus, there amount of each side is pretty small. It's about 3-4 bites worth of potatoes and that's all you get. This review is based solely on my most recent visit. (Today) I have been a fan of KFC since I was a little boy. I am not here to say it is the best out there, but there's something nostalgic for me about the aroma, the original recipe and the taste of a moist piece of chicken. I pulled into the drive thru and was greeted by a very friendly voice telling me to take my time. Upon reaching the window, this perky young lady is smiling and reading back my order. The box of chicken we received was covered in the gravy that had spilled from the mashed potatoes. When I showed the staff and asked for another box, their first response was..... sure. Then behind the counter you can hear the staff, that was not our fault, they probably dropped it......Awkward! We did not drop it and if we had we would of just dealt with it. I just went through the drive through at KFC in Fayetteville Ar, store C029024, ordered 20 fill up. Kid said all they had was original recipe. I said ok, got home it was Walmart fried chicken and their sides. I worked at KFC for a few years as a teen, I have eaten KFC all my life, this is not KFC. They won't answer the phone. My trip to Kentucky Fried Chicken on MLK Blvd. in Fayetteville, AR was one of the worst fast food experiences I've had. I had already heard some bad things from friends and classmates at the university, from the service being slow, the cashiers being rude, and the food being pretty bad for simple chicken. From towing cars to leaving the dining room dirty, the restaurant has a pretty bad reputation. And yet I still decided to give them a chance. Bad idea. MY first clue was pulling into the parking lot. With only cars for the employees, the place seemed deserted. The sign is far from the road and almost blocked by the bushes around it. You almost can't tell that they are even in business. Upon entering the building, I noticed that the cleanliness was extremely sub-par. The floors weren't mopped and the counters were sticky. The condiment bar and the soda fountain were disgusting. When I went to order, the cashier appeared to barely know what she was doing, and didn't quite understand simple requests, like substituting mac n cheese for coleslaw. I began to pay for the meal, only to have another server inform me that there are no cookies, and then asked if I wanted to have a second biscuit instead. Even after saying yes, this did not happen. My friend then ordered after me, and had the server treat her like she was stupid, ignoring her questions about making changes to her order. After finishing her order, the cashier seemed annoyed that she even had to deal with my friend, which is far from the expectations of "friendly service." After having already made her order, my friend was told that she would have to wait an hour for a side, because it was frozen solid. Good to know that the sides aren't made fresh in house and that they do not have them prepared beforehand. Finally, we finished ordering and left. While eating the food, we found that the chicken was underwhelming and the sides were not that warm. The biscuits were hard and crusty on the outside. All in all, the food was just disappointing. But the aftermath was the worst part of this experience. The food caused me to feel ill, and gave me severe gastrointestinal distress. Whether the food was cold due to being left out for a long time or being under cooked, it definitely had negative affects on my body, which I did not anticipate nor do I appreciate. So the take away from this experience is that you can guarantee that I will not be driving into that parking lot again anytime soon. Good luck to anyone who eats at this KFC. Went in Friday 3/28/2021. After a very Busy Day. I go through the Drive through to get Dinner for my family. I Ordered a 16 piece Meal Original Recipe, I told her for Sides I wanted 2 Potatoes and Gravy and 2 Macaroni and Cheese. She Said NO. You can have 2 Potatoes and 2 COLESLAW. Then I ordered a 12 Strip Meal also. I said I want 2 Macaroni and CHeese with this Meal. I drove 15 mile home. To find out we had been given 4 Coleslaw and 2 potatoes 1 1/2 tubs of COLD NASTY GRAVY. NO MACARONI AND CHEESE. And should have gotten 8 Biscuits with the 16 piece meal and 4 with the strip Meal. We got 10 crumbled up biscuits in a box. So I have grandchildren and Company waiting on their Meal. I get it out the Boxes and find NO Macaroni and Cheese, and 10 biscuits. Strip so Hard they could barley eat them. So I get on the phone to see If I could send my husband back to town. I tried calling them 20 times. With NO Answer. So I drive back to town. I am In their parking lot When they finally answer. I said Thank you for Answering the Phone. I said I was just in there and got a 16 piece Meal and a 12 Piece Strip Meal. And I ordered 2 Macaroni and Cheese. She Cuts me Off and Says WELL WE ARE SWAMPED SO YOUR DAMN LUCKY I ANSWERED the PHONE. Our Lobby is FULL and Our Parking LOT is Full and Backed up at the DRIVE through. Well I am sitting in the Parking Lot and I Can See they HAVE NO Other Customers. She Yells at me and says there are 3 of us. And So Come back and Get It. So We go to the Empty Drive through I ask for a Manager. Tell the Lady We were shorted our Macaroni and Cheese . She YELLS COME TO THE WINDOW. She Slams the Window Open Pushes a bag Out at my Husband with Macaroni and Cheese and a Crumbled up Chocolate Cake. I said we Do Not Eat Cake. I have a Sugar Issue. I normally don't give 1 star reviews but this place deserves it maybe even less. My wife and I went in with coupons because life is a struggle. We both had coupons for 2 dollars off ANY bog box meal. I emphasize any because even on the coupon it states any combo #6 - #8. My wife ordered a #6 at first but they didn't have any breast or Mac and cheese (which is a normal occurrence for this location to be out of certain items, poor planning is what I think I boils down to), so she decided to get a #8. The #8 is 8.89 I think and we had a 2 dollar off coupon which should of made it 6 to 7 dollars, instead the cashier comes back with 9.xx. We immediately tell him that's wrong it's 8 with a coupon and he says that the #8 is not part of the coupon. This is where we lose it. The coupon says it and the #8 is a big box meal. So there were plenty of indications that the #8 was on the coupon. Long story short expect lots of dissatisfaction when you go here. Both drive thru and indoor drink stations taste flat and gross and when I confronted them about the taste of the drinks they laughed, my large box of wedges wasn't even half full. This KFC is atrocious! My roommate and I wanted to get fried chicken for the 4th of July. There was a couple in front of us ordering and the cashier informed them it would be an hour before all their food was ready because they didn't have any dark meat ready. My roommate ordered before me and after he had already paid, the employee in the kitchen told the cashier that they didn't have cookies and that they were going to have to substitute it with another biscuit, which my roommate was totally fine with. (Keep in mind, my meal also claimed to come with a cookie so I assumed they would do the same for me.) When it was my turn to order, the cashier was not friendly. I ordered a three piece chicken box but I only wanted legs. When I told her that she looked very annoyed as if I had said something offensive. I also asked if it was possible to substitute the coleslaw for a side of mac and cheese and she wasn't happy about that either. After paying, the guy from the kitchen told me that the side of mac and cheese would take about an hour to be ready because the mac and cheese was frozen solid. I asked if I could just get another side of mashed potatoes because I don't like any of the other side options and he looked confused. We got out of there as soon as possible and when we returned home, my roommate discovered that they did not give him the extra biscuit to replace the cookie like they said they would. They did not give me a biscuit to replace my cookie either. I'm very disappointed with the service at this location. Christmas eve day went and bought a 16 piece bucket of original an a 8 piece of grilled got home and went to take it out of the buckets the chicken came out on a clump and fell apart! and the pieces were not counted right had 5 wings and 3 breasts so I called them and complained they offered to replace the order which I thought was fair!
