This is one of the nicest Whataburger locations I have been to in the area. It is conveniently located near the college on MLK. The inside is very clean and open and the staff is helpful. Service is a little slow, I mostly do drive thru and it can take a while. I do like that they always have deals on the app and that they offer free coffee for military everyday. Burgers are good and I have always been a fan of their breakfast. My kids like all their fun milkshakes and drinks. read more

Wish I could rate this place zero stars. We waited for 50 minutes in the drive thru for our order last night. We would have left, but we were starving and nothing else was open at that hour. I think my memories of Whataburger are made through rose-colored glasses. You see, I used to work at a Whataburger during high school about 40 years ago. So when I travel anywhere near Texas, I make it a point to stop by. I ordered a double Whataburger with extra mustard. I replaced the fries with onion rings. The food was a bit slow coming out. How was it? Whataburger wasn't as good as I remember it. I keep hearing people try to compare a Whataburger to an In-n-Out burger. There is no competition, In-n-Out wins every time as the meat is fresh and the buns are never a day old. However, the Onion Rings are still outstanding. The self-serve soft drinks aren't the right mix and need more syrup as they barely have flavor. I love the spicy ketchup. read more

If I could give zero stars I would, I've been going to this location for about 6 years. They probably mess up my order 7/10 times that I go, it's usually something small like a missing ranch or wrong order, I live close so no big deal. But this time, holy cow, not only did they not give me my ranch, but my chicken on my spicy chicken sandwich was completely raw. This was my first time eating at a Whataburger and it will be my last. I ordered in the drive through line and waited over 30 minutes to get my meal. They kept only serving the inside line ( there are 2 lines, an inside and outside one) and I couldn't leave since I had paid already. I like this location a lot - the staff is always friendly, it's always clean and tidy, and the food is always up to the WB standard. The jalapeño cheddar biscuit is amazing so don't miss it. If there was a no star review... I would leave that. After waiting 45 minutes in the line for our food... we finally asked the young lady working (with yellow and blue hair) what the hold up was. She (with attitude) said "l don't know" then went inside seconds later bringing out our food. Turn out they forgot about us and left our food out. It was cold! I haven't tried Whataburger yet until now. The establishment was relatively clean, and the cashier was nice. The menu is pretty simple. I ordered a number 2 (double meat w/cheese) and substituted my drink for a milkshake. I also ordered a buttermilk ranch and honey butter with my meal. The burger itself is pretty huge and has chopped onions, tomatoes, pickles, and chopped pieces of iceberg lettuce. Taste wise, it's just okay. The fries however, are really good-comparable to McDonald's fries, except they taste more fresh. As for the milkshake, it was very basic..nothing special. read more

To clarify for all the first-timers who found the burgers didn't match the hype, there is no way this is the same meat as the Whataburgers in Texas. I've tried this location twice and the Springdale location twice (over the course of 2+ years) and not once did the burgers taste like those in Houston, Corpus or Phoenix (locations I'm most familiar with). Something's off and it's disappointing. There is a similar issue with Sonics in New England (Peabody, MA and New Haven, CT specifically are awful and totally different than Sonics elsewhere). Weird and unfortunate for those of us who want to see thchain expand. PS: since originally writing this I've tried 2 Tulsa OK locations in addition to more in Houston and Corpus, all great. I've also tried Fayetteville once more and Rogers twice. The AR locations are indeed different! Additionally watch the new DFW airport, terminal E. One try there is eerily similar to AR. I'd be curious if regular Texan consumers are going to comment. For why eat at the airport when you have one close to home? Is this a corporate conspiracy (ahem, CHICAGO INVESTORS) to start infusing different meat into locations unfamiliar to regulars, then eventually spreading to all locations?!? I ordered a Whataburger online. I ordered tomatoes, pickles, lettuce, extra onions, easy mustard and jalapeno ranch. They gave me extra onions, easy mustard and jalapeno ranch. Nothing else on it. I took it back and explained what happened. They were very apologetic and made me a new one. I checked it in the car and saw that it had no jalapeno ranch but I was hungry. I get home and slap some mayo on it and bite into it. Extra mustard, so much mustard. I got a paper towel and tried to fix it but finally gave up and ate the hamburger patty. I would have been better off keeping the first one. I think it's a big fail if you are hungry after two trips to a restaurant. read more

My chicken bites were double fried and just awful. Over half of them had almost no chicken in them. The ones that did were just too crunchy. The fries were stale and old tasting. I really enjoy whataburger when they do right but this location is a skid mark to the Whataburger name. read more
