I decided to review Zaxby's because they don't get the love they deserve. The service is always great, and it's never busy inside. As for the chicken quality, I'd say it outperforms Raising Cane's seven times out of ten due to the greasiness of Cane's chicken. That said, I'm no madman--it's a fact that Cane's bread is far superior. The three Nibblers were excellent, and the bread was spread with Zax Sauce. The deep-fried cheesecake bites were also a nice touch to my meal, though I wish the sauce had more strawberry mashing, as it tasted artificial. As for the other sauces, I determined that Zax Sauce is better than Spicy Zax Sauce. The reason is that Zax Sauce has a more peppery flavor, while its spicier counterpart leans more toward a buffalo taste. The teriyaki sauce was excellent and paired well with the chicken--I kind of just threw it in at the last second. But the real star of the show was the hot honey mustard; it was outstanding. read more

I'm so obsessed with the Zaxby's chicken bacon ranch fries! I've found just about every time I order them, they are just moderately warm. I've never minded waiting on hot fries, no matter where I'm at! Other than that, it was clean and everyone who works at this location was attentive and nice & helpful. read more

I worked here. This place is nasty. Pro---chicken made fresh Con--- raw chicken behind the vats that contain the chicken. When pulling out the large stainless steel cabinets to clean behind them. There is always raw chicken on the floor. In the refrigerator, the salad gets water dripped on it. There is a spot on the floor where the fryers are located, where the linoleum is lifted up and water gets under it. Just a complete breeding ground for bacterial and illness. read more

Me and a couple of my friends went in Sunday around 6pm. None of us had been there before so we needed time to look at the menu. We told the girl working we would need a minute to decide but she didn't respond. Maybe 30 seconds later, we're all still looking at the menu, she shrugs and says something along the lines of "ugh I can deal with them today" and just walks away leaving the front desk empty with. I would understand if we were doing something that made us look disrespectful or rude, but we were literally just out of the way, looking at the menu, and giggling to ourselves, and we even asked politely for a minute to look over the menu. The food is great, I love their tenders and fries. They have a signature sauce that is amazing, and they have cheddar cheese bites that are super tasty. I have yet to have anything bad from their menu. That being said....drive to Springdale to get your food. The 6h street location SUCKS!! they are slow, rude, and they mess up a lot. I sat in the drive through yesterday for 25 minutes picking up an online order!!! It defeated the whole purpose of ordering online for me to have to wait that long. It was ridiculous! They guy at the window was rude, and he was the manager on duty, there was never an apology or explanation, they just made me wait and then shoved my food out the window at me. The last time, they completely messed up an order and it was an online order too, so it was right in front of them. It just seems that time after time after time, they mess up. If you go in and order, or go through the drive through, it is super slow, that's why we started using the online ordering option but apparently that doesn't save you any time either. Everything was just great! I'm used to going to the location in my hometown, but when we moved here I realized this one is the only one for me! Order was correct. Employees were professional and kind. My chicken salad sandwich was fabulous, as always! Although this location actually took the tomato off like I asked. Never happens at home! My first visit ever to a Zaxby's was this week. My food came out very quickly and hot. The chicken fingers were really good and I could bathe in the Zaxby's Sauce. Dined here 8/2/10 It would seem that Zaxby's is a chain of some size, though I had not experienced it while living in Oklahoma or Texas. While it is similar to a place i used to eat at in undergrad (Raisn' Cain's), Zaxbys has wings in addition to chicken tenders. My visit to Zaxby's was good, but nothing particularly special. The chicken was properly cooked and well seasoned (i ordered a mix of tenders and wings). The crinkle fries were very well seasoned, which was a plus, though not terribly crispy, which was not. The restaurant lobby was clean, and the counter help was friendly and efficient. The teriyaki sauce for the wings was the right mix of sweet and salty, and clung nicely to the wings. The house sauce was ok, not great, as was the BBQ sauce. The honey mustard and ranch were both fine. My only other note would be that the portion size to price was very nice, I got a lot of food and don't feel like I spent my whole wallet. All in all, if you're not looking for anything terribly special and want a lot of chicken for not a lot of cash, you could certainly do a lot worse than Zaxby's. read more

I worked at this Zaxby's and I can say that of the dozen resteraunts that I have ever been employed at, this is by far the most clean. They have incredibly high standards of cleanliness, as their primary product is chicken. There food is delicious if you enjoy some good fried chicken and I strongly recommend that you try everything on the menu. I've never been disappointed with the service or quality and I still eat there frequently even after years of not being employed there. read more
