The food we were served was absolutely horrible. The chicken was disgusting--slimy, greasy, and clearly cooked in dirty oil since everything looked dark and unappetizing. The fries tasted like they had been refried over and over again--old, greasy, and dripping with dark, dirty oil. Just awful. The wings were exactly the same--completely disgusting. The coleslaw was a joke. It was honestly pathetic. This was a total waste of money. I don't know what's going on with this franchise, but the Goshen location is terrible. The service wasn't great either, but the food was so bad that we literally threw it away. Please improve this. read more

The minute we walked in we were greeted with very rude comments "I'm the only one here running the place, she's working illegally, and we're out of food." 2nd person very courteous took our order requested chicken tenders they were being thawed so they could be cooked, got chicken nugget meal...nuggets were low side of fair..fries were stone cold and nasty. 2 piece dinner was just as bad,, corn was stone cold and chicken was major greasy. Apple pie poppers were stone cold. Dinning room looked like it hadn't been cleaned for 2 days..wet floors..food under most of the tables. The quality of food! My $25 festive meal wasn't so festive. The chicken was original recipe, but was crispier then the crispy style chicken because it was in the heat so long and it was dried out and hard. The biscuits were so hard, I could've played hockey in the street with them. The gravy was left leftover gravy because it was runny just like it is when I leave it in the refrigerator and try to use the next day with the other mashed potatoes that come with the meal. Remember when KFC used to be the best chicken around I am so glad they built a Popeyes chicken less than a quarter mile down the street on Pike Street in Goshen because that's where I will be going from now on. read more

I paid $14.99 for an order for the family size pickles. My husband brought them home and there were only eight pickles and they were burnt. So we called - they offered to make it right. So my husband went back and came home with the family size pickles. KFC thtew.an extra five fried pickles into the bag for the inconvenience. When we got home, the pickles were burnt again. We picked through the order to find edible pickles. We had to pitch the rest because of the bad taste in our mouths. Yesterday, they were fried to perfection. Today, they were either frying the pickles and then refrying them, just leaving them in the fryer too long a and/or the oil needs to be changed. The chicken strips tasted a tinge overdone- not as burnt as the pickles. What a disappointment! read more

Staff lied to us wouldn't give us any sauces. Told us they didn't have any. I looked at my chicken sandwich had sauce on it. I go back and say excuse me there's sauce on my chicken sandwich I thought you said you didn't have any the employee went into a nervous stutter and said sorry sir we can't help you and was embarrassed cause I caught them in a lie. Sat down in the restaurant and had employees snickering, laughing and pointing at me terrible experience would not Recommend and will never go back there again. read more

They do not have food prepared for the customer when the doors are open to take our money. They give 10 minute wait time for chicken to be cooked and it took 27 minutes. I asked to modify my order for individual items since we already had to wait for the food, I thought it would be ample opportunity to provide good customer service. The clerk was great. Very polite and accurate, he asked the manager to provide this customer service and she was too busy with the chicken to answer the question (there was another cook in the back). So a few minutes later the clerk said she said that I could just pay for a fry and pop to get the meal. That would have me paying 23 dollars for what should have been 16. Also fries were ready at 1030 a.m. and served to us at 1102 a.m. wonder what time they were actually out out there. They were cold and nasty. The shift manager, James, took my order, was rude and just wanted me to be done ordering and get out of his window. He didn't want to give me a receipt and when I told him I needed at add a drink because my blood sugar was off, he sighed and despite asking for a small, he charged me for a large, gave me a medium and would not give me a receipt for this transaction. This is not the first time he has treated me this way, I called KFC's corporate office about a year ago because he was rude and filthy even then; putting his fingers all over his face and nose and not washing his hands between doing that and hopping on the food line to bag orders. His clothes were clearly dirty as well, but I never heard back from anyone and apparently he continues to thrive at this store. Also my son's chicken was a gross color, which if I can include a picture of, I will. Everyone else's was fine, though mine was cold. read more

I encountered the worst customer experience I have ever experienced when it comes to food. Larry, the manager who also runs the drive-through is one of the rudest people I have ever met. He is unpleasant, quickly dismissive, and on a power trip to over talk and dominate the conversation. When confronted in person, he will quickly cut you down and ask you to leave the restaurant. When confronted over the phone, he will talk over you, give you very little information, and then hang up on you. Sadly his manager is not much help. I was bullied over the phone and all of this started because I was bullied in the drive-through as I asked for just a moment to figure out what my daughters would like to eat. I am not using the word bully for shock value or even as a "snowflake." I suggest you avoid this place altogether. Avoid Larry altogether. read more

I went to the restaurant/take out on Pike Street. I'd been getting wonderful fried chicken from a gas station on CR 6 and Cassopolis and thought, why not try chicken from a place that's supposed to do it right? After all, that gas station sells muffins, buttered honey rolls and potatoes; it doesn't really just concentrate on chicken. I ordered a 16 piece bucket of crispy, dark chicken. They don't have 16 pieces of dark meat. A place that sells chicken, their speciality, doesn't have enough for a 16 piece bucket. They said it would take 20 minutes to make it. Since I'd already spent the gas to get here, I said I'd wait. OK. I pulled up to the window and by golly they had a bucket ready! I took off the top and saw dark meat on top but didn't have time nor hand sanitizer to dig through it so I took it home. By golly, once there it was full of white meat. The duplicity cost me another return to their restaurant, a wait for fresh chicken, and a delayed lunch, not to mention more gasoline. Not even an apology. This is a side bar: I had called the restaurant and a man answered. His justification about what happened was " I'm only the manager." !! A good manager knows what goes on in his tiny restaurant. Indeed, he sets the policy. He said return it. So now I'm here waiting for them to straighten out their f---up and lie, that cost me $30 by the way, and I'll never get chicken here again. Don't bother with a pick up order. Ordered through GrubHub waited 15 minutes to go pickup. Showed up to 10 cars in drive through. Asked where I can get my pick up since the doors are locked and was told in the drive thru. So ordered early, paid ahead, and still wait in the line for what appears to be at least 20 more minutes based on the one car that passed in the 5 minutes we waited. Figure it out if this is the new normal you should close. read more

I've visited this restaurant through the drive thru two times in recent days. Both times was great service. I was through the drive thru in just a few minutes and the food was hot and fresh. It has been a great improvement from what I remembered in the past. Most write reviews when they are unhappy with something. Well it's good to note when a restaurant has improved. We just went for a quick dinner, the lady (Tara, tamera, something like that) who ran the drive through had inexcusable customer service. She was not a friendly individual and even a bit snappy. We did not get silver wear, napkins, honey, we weren't asked about sauce. It's wasjust the general fast food communication etiquette that was missing from this particular visit. It's.
