First off let me say this. The blonde woman gave me so much attitude and was very disrespectful, and acted like she didn't want to be there. Just went in for the free Oprah special, two piece grilled meal. Was greeted with, "that coupon is black and white and the wait is over an hour anyway." What a welcome. Unfortunately they are the only local store and I love the Original recipe. Thing is, I looked up the promotion and was even thorough enough to call beforehand to see if there were any tricky stipulations, there was no answer. The place was not packed with customers. I went to this kfc and a couple come in and order two buckets of chicken to go. Came back 20 minutes after to return everything and got $47 dollars back. The cashier got all of the food and put it back with the rest of food. And serve it to other customers. That's not good cause you don't know what the couple put in the food. LJS is my favorite fast food place. They're all over the place in the Midwest but since I moved here this is the only one within 30 miles of me. I'll generally make a special trip here if I ever go shopping at South Center or Ikea. read more

Wait time: 4-5 minutes. Actual wait time: 15 minutes. Not only did we wait longer than expected our order was only half brought to us. We went in to retrieve the rest and they claim I didn't order it even though they repeated it to me in the drive-through. So they replaced my mashed potatoes with hallowed out wedges. Disappointed. A horrible horrible place, everything at LJS is oversalted to the point you can't really taste anything good about the food (which may be a good thing, considering the quality). They close an hour earlier now, which makes little to no sense. Sure you can blame the economy, but do you know how to make money in tight times? Stay open! They stop making chicken at around 9 (being that they usually stop prep an hour before closing), which means unless you're one of the lucky ones with a daytime work schedule, there's ZERO chance of getting any KFC. Just go across the street to Tops, and get a cold 10 pack of fried chicken drumsticks for $5, it's way more worth the money and time than KFC. The chicken tastes quite a bit better at Tops anyway. I was debating whether I should write a review considering just about every KFC on YELP has no more than 2 stars. (Warning sign #1) either this franchise has shitty work ethic and low staff moral or we're in a shitty area of service! Lol I think it's #1. Today I went to order a 12 piece BBQ wing order. When we pulled off I looked into the back about 10 min later to see that the entire outside of my box was smothered in BBQ sauce. not sure how they managed to get it this messy. But we went back. I wasn't going to eat or touch this bbq drenched/already "finger lickin" licked box that looked like it was pulled out of the trash. The person who helped was nice, she explained that in the process of getting the bbq sauce on the wings it drips all over the box. I honestly didn't care. It's the display that had me. If that's the case(which I do believe it was) they should replace the entire box. I wondered if they would serve their CEO with that box... they replaced it with a new container. Really bad service food tasted as though it sat there all day. I had the chicken bites and hush puppy's the chicken was super dry and the coating was limp and soggy the hush puppy's were as hard as rocks and in evenly cooked I do not recommend this place I'd prefer to pay the extra and go to serious soul cafe. read more

There was no customers at the counter and it took at least 10 minutes for them to take my order order. I would thought about going back around and going through the drive thru. Then when I took my order they didn't have two of the things that I wanted including standard things like extra crispy chicken breast and a biscuit yes I got spoiled by the KFC in Auburn. Was looking forward to a Honey Barbequed Chicken Sandwich when I arrived at this restaurant. After ordering, I was informed that they were out of bbq chicken that day. The gal suggested the sliders. Thank goodness there was no one behind me in the drive-thru. After looking over the menu, I decided to go with her recommendation. The sandwiches and potato wedges were hot and good. She was very friendly and apologized again that they were out of the BBQ chicken. I will give them another try. read more

This KFC/LJS doesn't care about their LJS menu or customers. They give you poor service, usually the fries have been sitting all day and are cold. Management and employees seem greatly unpleasant that you order LJS items and then have to wait 15 minutes to bring your food out to your car. If LJS wants to survive, they need to get FAR away from KFC, and go solo again or pair with a company that values their name brand and quality. Even the LJS menu only has 8 items on it. As usual, no chicken pot pies. Wanted a "Double Down" for grandson and was told they were out. Ordered a bucket of chicken and was asked how many pieces. Told the gal that I don't know cause the sigh at the drive through is missing and has been for like a month. Then I got to wait in the parking lot for 28 minutes. This was my last visit to KFC on the East Hill. Third time they did not have pot pies. What a crummy customer service store. Am going to suffer through Popeye's from now on. read more

In the past I have gotten good service and good food here. However, my last 2 visit here it is horrible.. Wednesday 11/22//17 day before Thanks giving. I needed some gravy for a potluck. they charge me almost $5.00 for a small container. very expensive but what do you do if you need it right.. 2nd visit 12/1/17 I asked one of my co worker to get me a couple of chicken... THE CHICKEN HAS A HAIR ! ! I took the attitude that the manager give me when I needed some gravy and did not give my review then and wanted to give them a chance because we work across the street from them. Every time I go to this kent, wa location they promote chicken pot pies but never have any available without waiting 22 minutes. Why sell a product if they never have them made. As of yesterday 3/3/11 I went again and still had only one pie. Common sense tells someone that people usually purchase two.
