Greatest fast food ever, lowkey expensive but I would spend every dollar of mine here

I figured I'd try again. The special is just an ok deal. $20 fir chicken strips and fries and a dessert is ridiculous. No drink included. Strips are getting smaller. Shrinkflation. The staff were friendly and service was quick. The chicken was...really, really bland. I ordered both spicy and original. They were basically the same. The coating/skin was ok. It was crispy and not overly oily and I did not get that old oil taste. Unfortunately there was no discernable seasoning of any kind. I ordered a combination of dark and white meat. The dark meat was fine but the white meat was mostly dry. It was a disappointing experience. I'd spend your hard earned dollars elsewhere. read more

It was very underwhelming, the chicken was so bland with no flavor not even a pinch of salt, i got honey and hot sauce which saved the 12$ i spent, the mac was pretty alright it was bland as well but it had a good tiny flavor to it. I live in Hawai'i and had come into the Seattle area to host a birthday party for my 93 year old Mom. I had placed an order for Mom's party with the catering department, who passed on the order to the Kent location, where I planned to pick up the food. I got a voice mail message from Joe, the store manager, who suggested I give him a call back to clarify a few items on the order. I am so glad I did! We went over the order and he made several changes that actually got us more of the side dishes and amazing rolls for less money! He took extra time and went over the full order with me to give me the most value and options. Shortly afterward I found out there was going to be a bunch of road closures and my Mom's party was in Puyallup (during the fair and all the road closures!) and I was up in Kirkland. I called my sisters and asked if they could pick up the food for the party, and they suggested I move the order to the Tacoma location, because it would be easier for them to get to. I called Joe and explained what we needed, and he took care of everything. He truly went above and beyond to make sure we had enough food, it was easy and convenient for us to pick up, and we got the most value for the money. I wish I had taken a few pictures of just the food to show how much came with our order. Everyone enjoyed all the food and there was even a few leftovers for dinner the next day! Mahalo, Joe! I haven't been here in years. I was going to watch the Super Bowl and wanted some tasty chicken legs to eat with the game. I ordered ten pieces and was charged $30.00 plus tax. i thought the total was high but did not say anything. I ate the majority of them during the game and the food tasted alright but nothing great. You could get the same quality at a Safeway Deli for a lot less but you would have to cook with the microwave beforehand. Haven't eaten at an Ezell's in forever. I usually get gizzards from gas stations or truck stops, but I think this is the closest place that has them. 15$ for GIZZARDS? I'm sorry that's crazy. My husband saw this place on Triple D so when we saw that there was one in Kent, we had to try it out. We ordered an eight piece meal with a jumbo mac & cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, large seasoned fries and rolls. The price wasn't bad and it smelled so good. When we got home we made our plates. The Mac & Cheese wasn't good, it was super dry and had no flavor. The mashed potatoes had no flavor. My family used the gravy on their potatoes and that helped. First time trying ezells today, some of the best food I've ever had. My mind is blown.

Service was fast for my To-Go order! Typical fast food atmosphere. Now to the disappointing bit. The dinner roll was stone cold and sweet. The Potato Salad was mediocre at best. Seemed to have a sweet note. Worst Baked Beans I've ever had. Cloyingly sweet. Threw that out. The Chicken was lukewarm warm and flavorless. I've always heard great things about this place , but am sure this will be my one and only time eating Ezell's food. read more

I asked the kid how many chicken tenders do you get when ordering half a pound of chicken tenders. His reply is half a pound. When I got home I weighed the pathetic four pieces he gave me and it only weighed 4 ounce. Far cry from half a pound. Solid 2 stars for 'Could've been better'. Customer service was great and the crew were getting food out fast and hot. The fried chicken was aggressively average. Very crispy skin and juicy chicken meat on the 8 piece dark meat meal. Unfortunately, I ordered the spicy chicken and aside from being slightly reddish it was crispy, but bland. Batter for spicy chicken could use a LOT more spice and maybe preseason the chicken before frying to allow the spice to penetrate deeper into the meat. Rolls were nice and warm and obviously cooked in a muffin tin as they look like cupcakes of bread. Potato salad was average. Cole slaw was pretty good. read more

Ezell's is great especially when you're a local. Personally I think the chicken and biscuits are exceptional especially with the honey mustard they provide. But without the honey mustard the chicken is pretty dry. The biscuits are fine without the condiments. I really enjoy the regular chicken tenders but I think service is decent, they're just working. I always get annoyed when KFC or Popeyes chicken sets have tiny pieces of chicken underneath there regular-sized ones... not here! Every time I get Ezell's, each piece of chicken is huge. I hate white meat and even their breast pieces are juicy and flavorful. We usually get the spicy chicken which isn't spicy at all, but noticeably for flavorful. Get the combo and make sure the mac-n-cheese is one of your sides... you won't regret it. Only complaint is they're a bit slow because of the huge amount of online orders. Every time I arrive to pick up my order, it's never packed and ready. On the bright side, the chicken we get is always hot and fresh! read more

We ordered Ezelles the day of for our rehearsal dinner. I called earlier that day to see when we should order and the groom and groomsmen ended up getting going there and getting the order. I didn't try much but we ordered a 24 piece meal with additional tenders and they came out great! The customer service I wasn't sure bc I didn't handle that but the food was great! The skin on alll the chicken was crispy and not super oily. The gizzards and lived were amazing!!! I will definitely be ordering more and the sides of coleslaw, mashed potatoes, and beans were good as well. I just wish they were bigger. read more

Zero star for customer service. 1. They have forgotten several meals, gave us the wrong order multiple times that I been to this location. They used to show the orders and double check that everything is there but they don't do that anymore. So I've had to go back several times and then wait half an hour for the correct order to be made... 2. Sometimes they do not take card and will only take cash. So I had to go to the gas station to withdraw money. When I came back 5 min later, they had canceled my order. Keep in mind, I ordered to go an hour and a half ago. Well then, they had to remake the order and now have waited for 2 hours for the food... So frustrating. They didn't accommodate anything or show any concern at all.
