According to the nice woman that took my order, the first person sent to me gave up looking for my truck, do to me parking on row out from the front. We had to wait to get chicken cooked and what I got was very old dried up and gross/ The fries had an awful after taste to them like the oil was very old, My hubbys crispy chicken came but it was way over cooked and they only cooked a breast, It was horrible all the way around plus they had no Pepsi of an kind machine was broken. I walked in and received no service. Two people looked at me and walked away. There were two people hanging chatting by the drive through and both looked in my direction but neither acknowledged that I was there. Nobody in that store greeted me. I came with some friends to try the Middlesboro KFC buffet. I'd never even heard of KFC having a buffet, so I was intrigued to see what they offered. Overall I was not impressed. For a place with chicken in its name, there was very little of it on the buffet. A few fried pieces were available on the buffet bar but to get the oven baked chicken you had to ask the cashier, and they would get you out a single piece. Similarly with the plastic plates, these needed to be asked for whenever you needed a new one. This seemed very inefficient and in a way defeats the purpose of a self-serving all-you-can-eat buffet when you have to essentially ask permission to get your meal. The food itself was pretty plain: a bucket of mashed potatoes, some old greens, dried out stuffing (dressing), and some biscuits (if you're lucky enough to have them refilled). The apple crumble desert was probably the best part of the whole buffet, but even that's not enough to save it. At $9 a person, I don't think the KFC buffet is worth it. Stick with ordering off the menu instead. read more

This KFC is okay for a "fast food" buffet. If something wasn't on the buffet the staff put it out for you right away. They give you two of each plate in foam/paper but I would recommend they put plates out for the customer to take. I ended up throwing away a large and a small plate. I wouldn't have taken them if I had a choice. read more

I know its a chain but the KFC here has some of the best chicken that I've ate at a KFC. It's almost as if its because of it being in Kentucky is what makes it so good. The buffet here is small but it never runs out of fresh food. read more

Id give it no stars if i could.went and got the buffet tonight the chicken wad xtra greasy and what other food out was dried up so bad you couldnt get it out of the pan.the okra was dried out beans wasnt done.i use to like eating there but never again it wasnt worth the money read more

I've eaten at this kfc a lot over the years, and they're often very good. The lunch buffet is actually their best service. But tonight and the last time I ordered take out from this restaurant, the chicken was literally too tough to eat. Also, I didn't realize until I was home that they hadn't packed my entire order. I wouldn't give this restaurant a completely bad review. Tonight, I'd give them a total fail. But they're inconsistent at best. read more
