It wasn't too busy in there, but she was really attentive to the bar patrons, and was on top of her game. Everybody sitting at the bar area, were so nice to one another, we were all talking and I ended up meeting this really nice, older gentleman that I chit-chatted with up until he left. I love the fact that the people here are so open and comfortable with one another and can engage in friendly banter. So that being said, my bartender constantly kept an eye on me and never interrupted my conversations when she wanted to offer me another drink or to order supper. She always timed it perfectly right! I'm on a no carb kick, so I ordered the smothered pork chops, with steamed broccoli and asparagus. Man, was it good. Those asparagus were popped down over an open flame and roasted, and even though very simple and basic, some of the best asparagus I've had at a restaurant ever. My whole trip was very enjoyable, and it looks like I'll be here in Sioux City for a few more days at least, so I will probably poke my head in there, this weekend!
