We would both definitely get the potato salad again. My wife said the tenders were good and what she expected. The star of the meal was my half chicken with their dipping sauce on the plate under the chicken. The skin was crispy and delicious. The chicken portion was large and juicy - absolutely delicious. Since it's been years since I had Ted's Kickin' Chicken, I had high expectations. The chicken and dipping sauce exceeded my expectations! While I wish they would open a location closer to Winston-Salem, I was glad I finally tried this Wilkesboro NC location. I will certainly return when I'm back that way. Of course, I ate one too hot to handle while driving but it was worth it. The wings were big, crispy and juicy. I can also see why they won an award with the sweet and spicy sauce. The only reason I didn't give them a 5-star review was I don't like my wings breaded. They are great fresh but get soggy by the time you get them home and unless I wanted to eat in the parking lot, I was taking them home. I will be back!
