This location was VERY busy at 1:00 pm on a Friday afternoon. The drive thru was packed and the parking was completely full. Traffic was at a standstill all around the building. We had to park in the parking lot of nearby stores, but it was not a problem walking between the cars in the drive thru because they were all sitting still! The inside seating was packed as well and our group was not able to get seats together. Six of our group went back to the car to eat! We stopped here to make a quick stop, but it was definitely not quick. Food was typical Chick-fil-A. Service was not as good as other places. I asked for extra pickles on my sandwich and the girl wanted to charge me ! That's the first time I've ever been told that and I have been to MANY different locations. Oh Chick-fil-A, you had me at, "May I take your order?" One of my favorite restaurants and no, I do not consider Chick-fil-A a fast food restaurant! Call me crazy BUT to each their own! I'm not a French fry fan but give me some waffle fries any day! However, I don't always get fries with my meal, I'm a big fan of the fruit or kale salad! I typically get the spicy sandwich and sometimes will choose the regular for a change of pace. To drink, I almost always go for the 1/2 Unsweetened Tea and 1/2 Diet Lemonade, it's an acquired taste! Food never disappoints here and I've rarely experienced an incorrect order even when it's two lanes deep and wrapped around the building! Now that's impressive! Everyone knows that Chick-fil-A has the Drive Thru system down pat and customer service is their specialty. What's not to love? Great food, great customer service and the most efficient drive thru experience of any restaurant, you can't ask for anything more! By the way, I do LOVE ordering on the Chick-fil-A App! Tremendous Improvement in Service Always liked Chick-fil-A but so did everyone else to the point that you could not get good service. In many cases, the drive though would snake one and a half times around the building and tie up the parking lot to the point where you could not get a parking spot either and dine in. Today was different. Today they were crowded but the handled the flow with ease. They appear to have adopted and refined a system where I first saw at the Statesville McDonalds with having someone with a wireless head set take the orders halfway down the line and relay it in. The Chick-fil-A in Mooresville further refined the system by using tablets. The location today had two people with tablets taking orders and directing people into one of two lanes, people further down with remote cash registers and card readers and finally someone what gave us our meal and took the number off of the windshield. Place was packed but what normally would have been at least 20 minutes was now accomplished in less than 5. Needless to say, picked up my order and went back to the lab to enjoy and it was a typical very good Chick-fil-A combo. Only problem with the system is that you need to know in advance what you are going to order because the point where you order is before you get to the menu board. read more

This Chick-Fil-A is on the east side of US-21 near North Pointe blvd not far from the I-40/I-77 interchange on a commercial strip in Statesville. Coming north along I-77 and since there's no west bound loop interchange to I-40 (yet) you'd have to exit at Turnersburg (US-21) and go south until getting to this Chick-Fil-A that I may say is quite busy. On a familiar foot print and restaurant layout this place is made to serve many and serve fast. As usual, eating in will get you a pylon filled with sauces you ask for and the tracker needed for the staff to bring your food to you. It's a nice feature that isn't available at any or all fast food places but to me Chick-Fil-A is a fast food "plus" kind of place. Clean, good food, family type restaurant with polite and helpful staff. I've never been to a Chick-Fil-A and left disappointed and they're pretty much the same anywhere you go. As far as standards go they seem to be the Cheesecake Factory of fast food. I can never really get sick of eating there. The only knock on them is that universally they're closed on Sundays. When we attempted to explain, from 2 rows over in a drive through line, we were told to calm down and not to yell. Wow! Their mistake and we were made to be feel like we were trying to steal food. I stopped in with my 2 year old daughter for lunch today. In the hour or so I was there, I had the most positive customer service experience I've ever had at any business. It least three times during my meal (which was brought out to me) an employee asked if we needed anything. One stopped to comment on how pretty my daughter was, and returned to give her a small stuffed cow. She again asked if we needed anything. When we got up to leave, as I was attempting to throw away my trash with my daughter in the other arm, another employee volunteered to dump it. Then right when we were leaving and I was wondering if they would refill my soda before we left, the lady at the register asked if I wanted a refill. To the franchisee: your employees at this location are hands down the best team I've ever experienced in a restaurant. Kudos to you for obviously having your systems and hiring process down. I tried to use a reward for a free sandwich, which I have done before at other locations and asked for a grilled version, the girl behind the counter said they would not honor allow that. Then I tried to use my app for free medium waffle fries for my husband but rudely said no, that it was too late. When they brought our two coffees to our table, they were cold! And they were cold to the touch! It was completely obvious that the coffee was cold by holding the cup. I would give it a 5+ rating if it wasn't for the uncharacteristically rude attitude of a server named Katherine. On 3/2/22 I placed an order for three people using the mobile app. My wife picked up the order at the store in Statesville, NC and when she got home one of the chicken sandwiches was missing. We live 15 minutes from the store, so she called the store to ask them to deliver the missing sandwich. They informed her that they didn't have any drivers so she had to drive 15 minutes to the store and 15 minutes home. For my drink I ordered 1/2 unsweet tea and 1/2 diet lemonade. It was watered down and bitter...I couldn't drink it. This is the second time I got this same drink and couldn't drink it. The last time we ordered from this same store, they gave me a spicy sandwich when I ordered the regular sandwich...I don't like spicy. In addition, the fries have been cold and soggy the last few times we got food from this store. We love CFA and visit often. Do I really need to write a review on Chick-fil-A for their customer service? Yes. Yes, I do. I came in today with a 7 month old baby on my hip and my keys, card and phone in my other hand (Don't ask me why I chose an outfit with no pockets). I brought in as little as possible and prepared myself for the possibility of having to leave ASAP with a cranky baby. When I walked in, the first thing I noticed was that it was BUSY. The entire restaurant was filled with mommas, young children and grandparents. I may have heard something about a graduation. That didn't keep from me being attended to with outstanding service, though. I was helped with a high chair to my table, my food was brought promptly, and I had several employees come to check on me and interact with my son. We were brought a placemat by one employee, and another came and kindly offered us a toy! Needless to say, I enjoyed my meal, and didn't need to run out anywhere as he was content playing with his placemat and toy. Thank you Chick-fil-A! read more
