I am surprised at the negative reviews! We just stopped there on our way back to Orlando. Seriously the BEST KFC chicken we've had! It was fresh, crispy and even the breast was moist! Associate who took our order was super friendly and made sure we knew all of our options! Bathrooms were also very clean and well taken care of. Went in to get some Honey BBQ wings since they brought them back and is our favorite. Asked specifically if they had the Honey BBQ wings and was told yes. Ordered 20 wings and didn't check before leaving but once we opened the bucket found Hot & Spicy wings not Homey BBQ which I can't eat because of the spice. Luckily my husband can but will wait until we arrive home and can add honey BBQ sauce. The wings we received were not crispy- it was as though they had set under the heat lamp a while. We travel through Wauchula on our way to our Lake House and had stopped going to that KFC because of poor service and them not serving the Honey BBQ wings any more. Had I not specifically asked about them maybe would give a little better score. Will probably stop visiting that store again. read more

Morning shift, no complaints always a sweet girl working at the window. Night shift, my food is always wrong, every single time i've had to come back more than once to get my food fixed. they lack communication with each other, they're rude, & they slack when it comes to food quality. it's always the same handful of people working when i know i'm gonna have to check my food 2-3 times before leaving with the right items. next time i see them i'll just be stopping somewhere else. & they constantly have the lobby closed so expect waiting in the drive thru for 10 minutes every-time you gotta go back to get food remade. Honestly very disappointed with the customer service and the food.. I had went and made an order for 3 spicy sandwiches and got the regular ones instead I called and asked to speak to the manager and I told her there was a mistake on my order and that I had ordered three spicy sandwiches not three regular and that if they could remake the order a different day, I was headed to an appointment and afterwards heading to my overnight job which meant that I couldn't go and have it remade that same day she went on and said that we would have to bring back the sandwiches in order for them to remake it which at the moment I couldn't do and asked if they could do it for another day she said they can, but they still needed the sandwiches returned and then she went on to say that it honestly really didn't matter if it was the classic or the spicy, it was all the same price either way I asked to speak to the district manager and told me they didn't have a district manager, which I know was a lie they were very rude even from the beginning while I was ordering at the speaker so honestly, I really don't recommend this place they will mess up your order, not very friendly and they're always rushing you just not a very good experience overall read more

Will never go back here. The chicken was ok but it wasn't the chicken I ordered. I ordered a 3pc original recipe and asked for dark meat only. What I got was an original recipe leg, 2 extra crispy breasts. I know the difference between a breast and thighs, but if you don't know the difference between dark meat and white meat, don't work at a chicken restaurant. And to mix original with extra crispy??? Came in with family on the way to Orlando and the ac was broken, drink machine was broken, they only had bottled water and sweet tea that wasn't sweet. The bathroom was filthy, there was hair and stains all over the bathroom and my chicken after I removed the skin was slimy and grey. We drove thru Wauchula every weekend to go to Orlando and usually stop at McDonald's or Burger King but we wanted a dinner to fill the kids up we made a big mistake coming here. This is our 2nd visit in 2 years and I had forgotten why it was terrible. The $5 fill ups are supposed to come with small mashed potatoes, but they serve an individual in a small dish (about half full)- unlike any KFC from here to Massachusetts. Both visits, chicken was not fresh. The restaurant is filthy. The 80's music is probably nostalgic to the last time the seats and walls were cleaned. My teenager went for a soda refill and saw a cook accidentally dump the box of sanitary kitchen gloves on the kitchen floor- then pick them up and stuff them back in the box. Gross. oh, god. please burn this building down. the most vile place i've ever eaten. i over looked the mold, the grime, the dirt, the fungus growing off of the soda dispensers, the run-down counter, the staff who looks as if they haven't bathed since the nixon administration....and ordered the food. o.m.g. i ordered crispy chicken. they took my money. several minutes later told me ' we don't have crispy' . offered me original. said it would be ready in 7 minutes. 3 minutes later, said ' oh, its done already! i was wrong on the time'. got home, opened the box.....stuck my fork in the breast...and the inside was raw. yes, raw. no, not extra juicy, not 'moist', not 'finger licking good...it was raw. raw as in cold to touch. raw as in ...raw chicken! this place should be condemned. i should have eaten the chicken and committed suicide! read more
