In the last hour, I've heard George Strait, Alabama, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings and Dolly Parton. This is the easy listening of classic country with a touch of outlaw and rowdiness from time to time. I cannot listen to neo-popcountry but still love country music and this hits the spot. I discovered Country Legends on a trip back home and have been listening ever since via streaming on the internet.

I hear a computer system voice during the top 5 with Kelly Raspberry. J-si is a positive person as well. Nice to hear when one is trying to wake up in the morning during eating breakfast. 2. My question are these top 5 here says or does Kelly Raspberry knows 100% of these actors, musicians & others in the entertainment industry? 3. Southern Florida Hotels, is this another voice computer system or is this a recorded person announcer? 4. Part Time Justin: He is a positive DJ, which is great to hear especially during the morning when I am waking up still. 5. Text 0707 is mentioned for what? 6. I noticed the new singers name or band are not being mentioned, why? 7. Traffic announcer is brief. The female announcer is good though, even though she does not have a huge amount of minutes to tell the traffic. She is still articulate. 8. American Express commercial 9. I would think Kelly Raspberry listens to these. The music has changed big time. They have similar upbeats and rhythms as well, lyrics are different. Out of all the radio stations in the DFW metroplex area, this is my favorite. They play a wide…read morevariety of country music from the 80s, 90s, 70s, 60s and 50s. I enjoy hearing artists such as George Strait, Randy Travis, Merle Haggard, Don Williams, Buck Owens, Ray Price, Charley Pride, Charlie Rich and Tammy Wynette. Country Legends 92.1 serves a growing market of people who enjoy country music the way it used to be, before it was polluted by the current Nashville sound that seems to be a bad imitation of southern rock and 80s hair band power ballads. Since when is Bon Jovi considered country? Is it because he wears a cowboy hat? Country Legends 92.1 has been a great alternative to other choices.I used to listen 95.3 The Range, until they changed their format, focusing more on the goat-voiced southern rock sounds of "Texas country" and the whole Red River scene that is popular in redneck circles in Oklahoma and Texas. Real country music is alive and well on Country Legends 92.1. I like going to Sundance Square in Ft. Worth and watching the DJ broadcast live through the window at the station.

For the most part I really like this radio station. For one I support college radio, always have…read morealways will. I like the music format; some Indie mixed in there, some retro 80's, and most importantly some local stuff like Oso Closo among others...They also play alt country like Drive by truckers, Steve Earl, etc...and some Americana and Folk roots music...Now for the down side, they need to change up the list more often...I hear the same list of the same songs by the same bands pretty often. So I would like if they would change it up sometimes and play something new and fresh. Also another down is the Webpages have NOT been updated in ages!!! And they really don't make good on answering emails...So if you want to contact them I suggest the listener line since I have gotten a hold of them that way. So much potential for this great radio station. I know it's a college station, but come on teach, lets get these kids to update the webpage at least once a month! Also, I really don't like the classic music for 2 hours. Arghhh...I put a CD on. ALso, the info shows are not necessary. I don't really wanna hear fanboy radio or a married couple talk about their home projects. Just stick with Music and maybe news and traffic. Keep on keeping on KTCU!!!

I keep my radios in my house on 24/7, and believe me, I have been blessed to survive with my family going through the Lord has provided. With all the grace and glory, playing your station has kept every evil forged against me, away. I know that God has opened doors for his servants to move on in the right direction. My heart-felt happiness for your staff to move on, but having another take your place keeps my spirits up. May God bless y'all and give you wisdom, strength, and peace in your future journey.
