Horrendous experience…read more I submitted a request for quote for disposal of construction debris. They came back with a price of $225, the lowest of all the quotes. I sent them pictures to confirm the price but they said they needed to see it in person. That's fair, I figured that the other garbage haulers would do the same. When they came, looked at the garbage, the price went up to $300. I just wanted it done, so I agreed. Midway through the work, they started complaining about how there was wood and tried to squeeze me for more. I wasn't paying anymore since they "re-quoted" after seeing the garbage onsite. When they "finished", I looked at the work they did and saw that they left a large mirror and all the paint cans. Their quote said it included disposal fees, but now, they weren't going to take either the mirror or the paint. Not only that, they left the garage and driveway a mess. I was so tired of dealing with them, I just paid them and cleaned up everything else myself. Do yourself a favor and avoid them. There are plenty of other options out there.

First time the lady on the phone gave me an estimate based what I told her then I added more stuff to the pile after I talked to her so when the driver came, he did tell me the cost would be more, he called the office to confirm, gave me the price, I confirmed then he started putting stuff in the dumpster so it was super clear, they charged me the exact amount that I confirmed. Second time, I took a picture, sent to them, they gave me an estimate, the driver came, gave me the same amount of cost, super clear I first went with them because when I was trying to find a junk removal company, many places would require an appointment for an estimate then you make a second appointment for the pick up, I find that too much hassle and takes too long then I found this place when they were able to give me an estimate over the phone or email (They responded to my email in 10 minutes) and able to come last minute. Both times they were able to come on the date I requested, also gave me a 2 hour window so super helpful, the drivers were super nice and they picked everything up within 30 minutes I really have no complaints with them and would definitely recommend them!

I should have never changed from my regular service but this company advertised removal to donation…read moresites and I was clearing my sisters estate. I set an appointment with them, it was to be between 11am and 1pm and they would call me 30 minutes prior to arrival. At 12:45 pm since I had by sitting there for almost two hours I called them and asked them when they were going to be there and told them if they did not make the appointment window I would hire someone else, at 12:50 they call and will be there in 10 minutes. Get there, go through house oh this is a truck and a half load (I had another service coming for junk only at 2pm so not a big worry to me), then it is less and less they can get or will get, they keep pointing to stuff and saying let the other company have that we think it is garbage and don't want to take it. The deal is they take everything and what is not donated is scrapped/junked so I could care less but they did not want to do the work I guess. After all of that I had to remind the person running the crew that there was still things in another room. The other company shows at 2pm, the lead on the College Hunks truck gets into an argument with one of the other companies drivers about a painting that I said the other group could have because he wanted it, well he should have moved it quicker, been on time, or at least told me he wanted it. All that, they come tell me they are at 1/2 a truck (they had two large sleeper sofas already in the truck) and give me the phone to pay, I do not think about the price because it is less than a full truck, the one younger guy with them was great and so I also left a tip, I get my receipt emailed to me and it is not for 1/2 truck it is 5/6 truck. I call complain, the answer is basically they will work on the feedback. In the name HUNK is Honesty, Uniform, Nice, Knowledgeable. The failed on at least three of those in the end in my experience. I will never use them again nor will I ever recommend anyone use them and I will go out of my way to ensure when my network of friends and associates needs a service that they know not to use them either.
