My phone broke down last Sunday and it was Eastern Sunday ..suddenly went black it wouldn't charge and I need it to get my contacts..all my passwords... I had everything on my phone I couldn't get anybody to fix it so I went to Ken cell phone repair inside Vallarta Supermarket on 47 st and Av R ..and I got there about 2:30 in the afternoon he took a look at it and he said what the problems could be ...he said it'll be $50 and it will be ready about 4 o'clock I give him my number ... h o'clock...he called me said the phone was ready so I went back over there ..He got it fixed right away so it's a good guy and honest he said 50dollars.. I came here to fix my iPhone XR and iPhone 6 screen at first I was very happy because he did the work quickly. But when I tried switching provider and they wanted to see my phone because I was going to switch phones they said "it's didn't have waterproof shield around and that my screen was lifting" which it was at the bottom. I was so happy that he had done the job so quick that I didn't check if he had done it correctly. My husband called to ask him to fix it and Khan was rude. So we took it to another Tech shop in Palmdale and the person at the other shop he explained to me he had to put the waterproof shield (it's like glue) around the edges so it would shield down correctly and how the person who had done it (Khan) had only placed the screen on top and didn't do it correctly. So I was super happy when my phone got fixed, he was also nice to have fixed my phone despite not having cash on me at the time. He allowed me to return the following day with the $129. However, after getting my screen fixed I noticed my phone started glitching, every time I'd have it on the charger or connected to something it would glitch. I took it back after he promised to change the screen, on the day he wanted but he was never there. I'd go back the next day and he wasn't there. Finally he'd answer his phone and told me to drop the phone off in 15 min and he'd replace the screen. Upon taking it he then explained it wasn't the screen, it was the phone just by looking at it, not once did he inspect it. A week later I placed my phone down and the screen popped off at the top. Since it was only a little bit I figured I'd push it back in and my screen cracked. I called him to explain what happened also mentioning that I broke my screen in the process to which he said "it's okay, I can fix it, can you bring it in on Monday." I stopped by Monday and of course! Closed. Called on Tuesday and luckily he was in. Upon arriving he said he couldn't fix the screen without charging me $120. I explained that the only reason I broke the screen was because I tried to push the screen back in. That if the screen would have never popped out I wouldn't even be there. He said "it's no longer my fault the screen doesn't work, if you would have brought it back without damage I could have fixed it at no cost." ‍‍ I was super frustrated. However! First time coming here, was a great and fast experience. My phone receiver from my iPhone 7+ was really low when calling people I could never hear them loud enough, it really bugged me. I called them to get an estimate of what the problem might be they said that it was probably clogged up came and they took my phone right then and there was super nice about it and changed my receiver screen and cleaned it all for the low price of 10 bucks. They didn't pressure me to get a new receiver they said that it was perfectly fine, Best part I can now hear people definitely would recommend this place to people. I've never had a reason to make a bad review but this place is HORRIBLE! I went in to get my cracked screen fixed for my IPhone when I picked up my phone everything seemed fine I unlocked it with my password when I should've tried with my Face ID I did so when I got home and it didn't work it was completely off :/ then a couple hours go by and my phone started glitching to the point where I couldn't even press anything, I proceeded to call the man back but he end up texting me saying that it may have been a defective screen he put on my phone so just bring it back mind you I paid $100 I just don't understand why are you charging $100 to put defective screens on people's phones he says he gets them from some type of market or something, anyways I got a new screen put on from him and every time I put my brightness down the screen turns brown and I see little oil spots, I really wouldn't recommend going here unless you want your phone to only work for a week and one more thing now my Face ID doesn't work AGAIN SMH, So disappointed and I wish I could get my money back. read more
