A bunch of my guy friends come here and recommended this place so my boyfriend came here for a haircut. He had Khanh who did a great job. The only thing I noticed was the side of his head looks like there's a line. Perhaps it needed a little more fade so it is a more seamless gradient. But my bf liked it and haircut was about $20. am very upset with this haircut! It took me years to grow my hair long and I specifically said multiple times that I did not want it too short. She cut it much shorter than I wanted. I thought she was cutting it too much so I said something but she assured me it was long in the back. I showed her, layers and long past my chest, she cut it shorter than my shoulders in the front except for the back where the very tip is just long enough to touch the top of my chest when leaning. That was her defense, that it was that long in the back but I was very clear and the damage is done. Never going back and just want to cry. Don't go here unless you want hair cut way shorter than you ask/show them. I could have probably done a better job myself or gotten a better cut at the beauty school for less than $29. Recently had my whole head dyed and I love how the owner, Khanh, takes his time with me. We were expecting my hair to take 5 hours and it ended up taking 6! Definitely come consult with him about any hair concerns before getting your hair done, he's really great in telling you what you can and should get done. He sells some hair products there too if you're interested in the things he uses. This place has gotten very popular so if you're looking to get your hair cut, make an appointment. Men hair cuts are 18 and females are 28 I believe, this includes wash, blow dry, cut and style. If you're looking for a nice updo for prom, people this is the place to get it done. I will never forget my updo done by Khanh for my high school prom (yes this was ages ago) and it was perfect and lasted all night, did not budge one bit. I highly recommend this place! Kahnh is the Mahnh!!! Ok seriously tho. This man is the man!! I've been trying to lighten my hair for YEARS!!! My hair: Hispanic, black, straightish, damaged, thickish.. you get the idea. I've been to so may salons?! Asking to lighten my hair. Nobody wants to do it. Ahhh it's too risky. Ahhh it'll get damaged. It'll take about 5 different appointments. Phhhhh You have dark hair and you wanna go blonde? Go to Kahnh! Period. This man was not scared. At all!!! I showed him a picture of what I wanted and done. He did it. Done. No hesitation. He knows what he's talking about ... you know how I know?! When he showed me that Olaplex is what! Listen ... now here's the deal I don't really know if they do olaplex there cuz I asked and I'm not sure he understood me? ... but whateva! he busted out the bottles of Olaplex and he said it was good for your hair. Shoot! I've gone to freakin Keldara before and asked about Olaplex and they looked at me crazy like huh?! Overpriced salons that don't know Olaplex phhhh never again. Color is darker than I wanted, but my hair isn't too dry, and the cut was good. $65 for for color and cut, you can't beat that. Hopefully it will get a lighter to the color I like. I have no idea why this place has such horrible reviews but every time I come here, I always have such a great experience. I'm extremely picky with who touches and cuts my hair and I've finally found a place who I can trust. I've tried every hair stylist at Khanh's and no one ever seems fails me! Over time I've become attached to the workers here because they understand me (literally.) I've been told numerous times that I'm supposed to cut my hair every 4 months but I unfortunately don't do that because I love my long hair and hate cutting it. Everyone here makes me comfortable and at ease every time I come in, which is why I drive an hour just to get a haircut. The staffs are extremely friendly and sweet and the price is reasonable. The place may seem a little ghetto and intimidating but I promise you everyone here is very welcoming! Just make sure you show them exactly what you want and they'll be gladly to do something similar for you! read more

I also recently got red highlights for the first time there, and they did it so smoothly and efficiently. I got a balayage about a week ago and it came out better than expected. I did get charged for having thicker hair but the quality and time taken was well worth it. Ever reliable and great service all the time. My husband likes his hair cut here. Even though we don't get to get an appointment for him, just a half an hour wait at most and he gets his turn. We usually walk in during their later hours on weekends. He has had a haircut done by Khan and all other three guys there and was always satisfied. Whenever I accompany him to get a cut, I see many women get their hair done there too so I tried that. Wow. I got a haircut and and full color for $80 only, and it was fabulous. Worst haircut I had ever received. Made me remember why I cut my own hair. I'm a male by the way. I had a full head of hair that I wanted trimmed and I showed Khanh a picture. He started off by cutting my bangs and I had my bangs bellow my nose and nw they are above my eyebrows. I asked for them to be at eye level. He continued to cut my hair while i told him that he wasn't doing it right. He didn't answer me once. I also said to leave the crown part of my hair alone because I like it puffy along with the top of my hair. He cut all the layers off and it is no longer like that. He gave me a haircut of a 6 year old. My bangs are choppy, the back part of my hair is extremely uneven, and I look like a a chicken's butt. I came because it had been a while since i had my hair cut "professionally" and I needed to get cleaned up as I am representing my school tomorrow by playing piano in front of senators. I now need to find a way to fix my hair to look half decent which feels impossible.
