    Chicken Biryani

This place is a true Milton gem and also right of an exit at 401 so I highly recommend to stop here for awesome Indian food if you're on the way out of/back to Toronto. They have a QR scanner code for menu and the waiter will take your order after you know what to order. Had the Chicken Biryani, Garlic Naan, Paneer Khurchan, and Paneer Tikka Masala. I love all dishes and they were all tasty. It's not Indian dining when there's no naan haha. The naan was well baked and soft. I enjoy enjoy ordering their biryanis because it's served with bread on top. The paneer and tikka masala were well spiced and very tasty. This is one of my go to spots fo Indian food that's outside of Toronto and actually I am even interested to try his other restaurants in the GTA!

If there was half a star, I would most likely give it that!! I was very excited about visiting and eating at Sanjeev Kapoor's restaurant, when we arrived, was disheartened to hear they didn't serve rumali rotis on weekends! We ordered a starter and mains with rice, naan and paratha. We were expecting to receive the starters but got our main course first, chole, chicken and the breads!! No rice or starters! When the starters finally arrived weren't impressed at all!! And after what felt like forever the rice came! I was visibly shocked at the chole, the dish was swimming in oil!!! Frankly the taste was nothing to write home about! I expected an upscale experience but the food and experience was very disappointing!! When I raised the issue of the quality of the dish, the server had no words to allay any of my concerns!! Our bill was nearly $100 and it hurt considering all the above!

Paneer tikka, paneer gravy and desserts. I loved the dessert but otherwise it's okay. Thanks :) Suganya

We came here on a Saturday after an afternoon movie, around 5:30. There was no line up, in fact there wasn't any other customers in the restaurant, we might have visited just as they were opening for dinner. I do recommend coming here early or making reservations because as we were leaving around 7 it was getting quite busy. We ordered paneer, lentils and butter chicken. I highly recommend the paneer, it was bbq'd and had great flavour. The lentils were also great with the rice and naan. Of course the butter chicken had lots of flavour and loved how saucy it was. This place is definitely a higher end Indian restaurant serving up higher end versions of the classics, but I highly recommend a visit.

This restaurant came highly recommend by a coworker so we stopped in here yesterday for lunch before hitting the outlet mall. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and we were greeted by their welcoming staff as soon we walked in. As you can see from the pictures, the tables are dressed quite elegantly and the level of service we received was second to none. They answered all of our questions and offered suggestions. We mulled over the menu and it was difficult to narrow it down to just two dishes! I opted for the Josh. Lamb shank cooked in rogan josh gravy served with whole wheat parantha roti. My husband chose the chicken biriyani which was served covered with roti. The lamb was cooked perfectly and although fiddling with a shank can seem like more trouble than it's worth at times, this dish was very delicious and satisfying! The chicken biriyani was incredibly flavourful and the mint definitely made this dish! I would definitely order this one again. We were also presented with a bowl of dahl near the end of our meal which was quite nice although since we were nearly finished, we didn't have room for much more than a taste. It was nice that each table had a bottle of Evian and Perrier on it (with the exception of ours for some reason). My one suggestion would be, if choosing one of these bottles, perhaps request a chilled bottle to be used. Room temperature Perrier isn't nearly as nice. Just a thought. They have a note in their menu stating that if you check in with Facebook or Google you will receive 10% off your bill. I don't use the other two so I mentioned that I had checked in with Yelp. The gentleman we were speaking with said (or at least implied) that we would receive it as well. I must have misunderstood. No love for Yelp this time. I would absolutely revisit this restaurant the next time I'm in this area although maybe for dinner. It made for a pricey lunch.

Great sophisticated Indian food. Was here to host a few friends from out of town. We were greeted right away and seated. The waiters were all amazing, and they took great care of us. We ordered the veg and non veg platters to start. All of the food on there was delicious. They had a good variety of panneer, kababs, chicken and lamb and served with a very delicious chutney. For our mains, we ordered butter chicken, the 24K dal, panneer tikka masala, veg biriyani and a variety of breads . All of the food was great, but the highlight was the 24K Dal. Oh so creamy and delicious it is a must try item! We got a few items for dessert and all of them were actually really really tasty. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience and would love to come back!

Loved this place. Good quality and quantity food. Sevice is amazing. Fresh ambience. Indian touch to the food. Must try- Chicken biryani and Roti pe boti. Raita served with biryani deserves special attention. Yogurt was perfect.

I would suggest this amazing place for couples for a nice date and family's. Very nice experience every single time we come.

Stopped by to grab dinner here on a Sunday night on our way home. Lovely place with impeccably attentive and informed service. While it is perhaps a bit on the pricey side, the food, importantly, was excellent! We ordered a range of things from their extensive menu, including lamb biryani, garlic and butter naan, and a chicken, lamb, and fish curry each. Everything was quite rich and flavourful and I can't wait to go back and try more off their menu! I had a mango lassi for dessert and one of my companions had the gulab jamun. These offerings were good enough for what they are but certainly did not blow me away. I was also a bit put off by the random garnishes -- please for the love of god stop ruining our glorious mango lassis with maraschino cherries. The gulab jamun confusingly also had lots of long rose petal strips swimming in it? Not sure what that was about. Desserts aside, the mains were spectacular, and along with the service is what I would return for.

I had a chance to try the jerk chicken tikka, a lamb dish, and the dilliwalla butter chicken. Everything was delicious and presented beautifully, with the butter chicken being the standout, particularly when paired with their soft yet flakey, buttery naan. They make their in house desserts as well. Can't recommend this enough!

Hello, We a group…read moreof 12 went to KARMA Social Lounge In Milton ON for lunch. At the time we discussed it with the manager (Kunal) of Karma about if he could cater for us THALI/pp for our Diwali Event in two months. After our discussion he quoted $14-15/pp plus free delivery as our location for delivery is within the range where he delivers free. I must add that he said that in front of all of us. We agreed and said that we will make contact soon. So when I made contact and reminded him about our conversation & the quote, he began stalling me and didn't answer my text timely, I still kept sending message/requesting if he can tell me YES or NO if he wants to go ahead with this catering? He finally sent me a message after 7 days and said that he will charge $20/pp. I agreed to the price change made by him anyway. But, he kept stalling me and didn't answer my texts for 2-3 weeks. Finally, he sent me the names of the dishes in Thalis. I agreed to this and asked him $20/pp for 12 people, is there any other charge. He said that we have to pay delivery charges. When asked how much, he texted $40-50. All the conversation back & forth took about a month and still didn't sum up the order. The delivery charges that he imposed was a bizzar amt especially when quoted free delivery & the place is within the range where he delivers free. I want to describe the frustration which I had to go through with manager Kunal, he has no ethics as he is a new Canadian & been dealing with new Canadians only with their same old ethics from where he came from. This restaurant was fairly new when we gave him the business and all those reviews that you see on his web are only from those who know him. I will never give KARMA restaurant business again and neither will all 12 people, those who were present when he quoted with free delivery. The manager has to learn a lot about how we do business here in Canada!!

The food was so bad I was legit disappointed and disgusted. We ate a few bites and left all the uneaten food on their table to clear up themselves-- so bad I didn't even take it to go. I really don't understand how people have been rating them more than 1 star. The fish pakora batter was bland and soggy on the inside and fell off the fish as you bite-- too much moisture. The Haleem had zero taste-- no meat, all lentil and zero spice. Felt like they used bland boxed or old masala. The Chicken Karahi-- was NOT Karahi -- it was swimming in a tomato salan. It was tasteless, no aroma, no spices, all you tasted was coriander garnish. The boneless chicken pieces were sad, the karahi would slip off the chicken. This was a different dish, don't call this karahi. The nihari was equally disappointing, the meat wasn't tender enough for a nihari, it has to be so tender that it falls apart -- this meat was tough and flavourless. The naans were the only acceptable item. Paid our bill in full but will never ever return. The washroom reeked like poop, if the washroom is so unhygienic then I can't imagine the kitchen. Asked for the manager to provide feedback, they never had the decency to show up.

We got the Beef Curry, Chicken Curry, Butter Chicken, Aloo Matar, Matar Paneer, Naan and Samosa's. The Curry's were all great - the sauce was tasty, nicely spicy but not over the top. The Butter Chicken was good but wasn't my favourite, the Aloo Matar and Matar Paneer were good, and the Samosa's were fantastic. Ask for their tamarind chutney, as it "seemed" homemade and tasted very good. It was suggested that we only needed two orders of Rice for four people, we could have used at least three orders. It was suggested that four orders of Naan for four people, but two was sufficient. The prices were reasonable. We ordered the 5 dishes above plus two orders of rice, four Samosas and two orders of Naan, and we paid about $75. We would definitely go back and order from them again. They also have Indian Sweets, so if you like those, they seem to have a decent selection - although not as many in some of the bigger Toronto restaurants. My biggest concern about the restaurant is they are advertising cheap beer and wings on their roadside sign. I want to see them advertising good Indian food, as I hope this is the market they are catering too, and what they are striving to excel in.
