There is a mix of local shops with a couple of high-end retailers, along with a few restaurants and a food court. This outdoor shopping mall is located on the beach path between high-rise hotels and condos. It offers a variety of options, from local to limited designer brand clothing, jewelry to souvenirs, along with a couple casual, upscale eateries. This complex is oriented towards family-friendly shopping and activities. There is another open-air mall with higher-end shops in Wailea. Unless one is staying at a nearby property, parking is expensive at $4.00 per 30-minutes with a daily, 24-hour maximum of $50. Good thing I was only there for about 5 min and dropped off. I came for a lei making class on Tuesday 11 am - 1 pm. No one was there. I waited 5 min past the starting time. No one seemed to know where it was and some stores said the crafts schedule is "inconsistent". No customer service desk or anyone to help. Poor customer service with relations to marketing...

That's the main store that might have some decent prices. I've visited some of the other stores and the prices are kind of high. Food trucks inside mall that have food for sale. Sometimes there are craft fairs on the lawn outside. Update: Was sad to hear they did away with the Hawaiian crafts last year. They really should bring it back. The shops at Wailea have a robust program of Hawaiian dance, crafts and music and I guess I will go there future. They only have a hula show on Sundays 1-2 pm, some music on Friday and Saturday 5-6 pm and and a hula class I believe on Thursday/ Friday. The shops at wailea has something everyday. I did want to mention that the hula show put on by the Oni foundation was one of the best I had seen and it was for a whole hour. I would definitely recommend it!!

Before there weren't that many stores here but now there's some more stores and in the back is a food court, which has a bunch of permanent food trucks. It is a nice selection of food. However, even though the mall has been remodeled, I still feel that it doesn't have the stores it needs to make it a nice flowing mall. It's pretty desolate and not very many people visiting them all. I think if they had some better stores at the mall, it would do much better. I remember that you could access the Safeway store at the corner from the mall. But now you have to go out of the mall and into the Safeway. And the Safeway is a large, super Safeway.
