Always has to know more than you and discount your symptoms and how you're feeling. Acts like you…read moreare wasting his time during an acute visit. Overrules most of what you say pertaining to symptoms. Passes the buck and always sends you to specialists and won't deal with most health issues. Orders a ton of tests that sometimes aren't needed, but when the patient DOES feel like they need one, he poo-poos it. No sense of humor. Way too clinical.

He explained that he was originally sent to the wrong address by someone over the phone and this office is far from his home in Chicago near Midway. I brought him into the reception area and he explained that he was in stage 5 renal failure and needed relief from pain. They told him he was 30 minutes late. He explained the wrong directions and how he got lost and apologized. He was 81 years old and not sure why they sent him to an office so far from his home. The receptionist went back to discuss w/ the doctor, I presume, and came back to explain he had to reschedule. Note that the waiting room was nearly empty and I was there to see another doctor otherwise he could have had my appointment. I emphasized to the lady that the old dude might not live to another appointment and that he was there now and 30 minutes is nothing to wait for a doctor. She looked too scared to go back and ask again and said that's all she could do and could she set up another appointment for the dying man? He said nope, and said he'd try to find his way home again. Head down, he thanked everyone, pardoned himself and left. Shame. He couldn't excuse a very sick old man 30 minutes. God bless that old dude and heaven help the 'good doctor'.
