Went it yesterday for a haircut. During the appointment, Maria tripped several times and repeatedly hit my forehead with her fingers. She also asked me to sit on the very edge of the seat because she was unable to bend to reach my hair. The process took an hour, and I was confused when she began straightening my hair after blow-drying it, as I had not requested this service. I was charged $60, which I believe included the blow-dry and straightening. I was never informed that these services would be performed or that they would incur an additional cost. I had to cancel due to a sudden, unavoidable family emergency. Since then, getting my money back has been an absolute nightmare. I have called this salon every single day and visited in person multiple times trying to resolve this. I have spoken with staff repeatedly and even reached Mandeep directly, yet she never once returned my calls, despite the fact that my entire appointment was scheduled with her personally. Every time I walk in, I am met with rudeness, deflection, and zero accountability. Staff avoid me, refuse to connect me with anyone who can make a decision, and give me the runaround instead of a straightforward answer. First time getting my eyebrows threaded here. I got them done by an older, shorter lady. I asked her for a clean up and I came out botched. One eyebrow higher than the other and they were completely different shapes! I let the lady know but she insisted that she only did a clean up when clearly I was missing more hair than what I had walked in with. I asked the other lady that was there to look at my eyebrows, she agreed and apologized on her behalf. Safe to say, I will not be coming back here. read more

Both times that I went here for threading, I was left with cuts on my eyebrows that weren't trivial. They are not trained to thread professionally. Service is usually quick but that's because they are not occupied, at least the two times I was there. They ask for Zelle and cash payments instead of CC. I was digging through my purse when I found a loyalty card that promised me one free eyebrow after ten visits. I showed it to the lady behind the desk upon arrival and she simply said. "We don't do that any more." I said, "There's no expiration date." She said, "You have to go to the other location." I'm glad I didn't leave immediately and waste gas because her co-worker approached the conversation. She unapologetically stated, "No, they won't honor that either." I used to be a regular but the quality of service has gone down so much. Not at all effective. I specifically asked them to emphasize on Black Head removal. They couldn't even remove basic and easy to remove blackheads. I don't know why their services are deteriorating. Not worth the money. I had a diamond facial done and it lasted for hardly 20 minutes. I could have done a better job on my own at home. Very disappointing. They finished the facial and applied moisturizer on my face and yet my face is full of "Scrub" .. the gritty scrub, it's been 2 hrs since the facial yet when I touch my face the grits stick to my finger .. they were that careless. I hate to give a salon a mediocre review but I was a little disappointed when I came in for threading. While I was still at the salon and I took a look at my brows in the mirror, it looked fine. Maybe a little thinner than I prefer but nothing crazy. After running a few errands, I noticed a burning sensation near my right brow. I went home and noticed it looked a little red but didn't think much of it. I expect some irritation after threading. The next morning, I noticed a few scabs near my right brow, which told me that the skin was broken from the threading and more irritated than normal. The scabs took a few days to heal. So bummed that I can't trust this salon for a quick threading. It's so close to my house and in a very convenient location in the Rivermark shopping center next to Safeway. Threading is $15, which is fair but I've been to better salons that charge $10 or $12. Other reviews mention their rude staff. I thought their customer service was fine. I walked in for threading, I think they only take walk ins for threading. No wait. I was in and out of there in about 10 minutes. read more

I knew this place was trouble at first thread. The moment they pulled their first hairs, I knew I made a mistake coming here. It was soooooo slow and painful that screams inexperience. My pet peeves is when threading places lecture and accuse me of other methods of hair removal. And that's exactly what they did, asking if I shaved my eyebrows before. No, I'm just a dry dessicated mummy with lots of ingrowns. But I'm used to places calling out my ingrowns or telling me to hydrate so that wouldn't have bothered me, but then they pulled out tweezers and plucked a good amount of the hairs. Isn't that like a threading faux pas that they are always shaming me for? I mean... I guess it's better than just leaving hairs there that are totally removable... Eyebrows look ok at least. I have been going to this place since I was in college so for almost 5 years. I've always loved this place because of the cheap price and the great service. I decided to come today even though I live 45 minutes away and get my eyebrows done today. I was taken care of by an elderly lady with blonde short hair. I just wanted my eyebrows cleaned up because my eyebrows are already shaped. The lady didn't seem experienced and I have a pretty high pain tolerance but this experience just hurt so much. I even had to tell her that it hurt but that didn't help. Instead of using a napkin or cotton to wipe my eyebrows, she used her own hands. She then finished and when I saw my eyebrows and it was reshaped and very thin. I told her and showed how my eyebrows were before since I was so shocked with how thin it came out. She responded by saying she doesn't know. I also told the other workers and all they said was sorry and was rushing me to pay when I was still explaining to them that my eyebrows were not just cleaned like I wanted. I would have appreciated it if they showed concern or helped me out in anyway. I understand they can't bring back what was done already but being apologetic or offered something to make the experience better would have helped. Sadly, I'm not sure if I would come back here. read more

I have been to this salon multiple times till now for threading, it's usually been alright. Some of the staff is actually pretty good like Anita. But today I had the worst experience with the lady who sits at the reception (tall lady with orangish short hair and glasses) when she decided to do my threading. Even after telling her I don't want thin eyebrows at all, she managed to remove a big section of hair from my left eyebrow. She also gave me a scar right under the eyebrow since she was so aggressive. A lot of small hair were left out on the right side. After pointing this out, she was rude, defensive and did not even have the decency to apologize. Really sad customer service. Hopefully the salon keeps staff that actually know what they are doing! read more
