Khuraira did my makeup for my wedding and for my now sister-in-law's wedding. She is simply the best! I have always struggled with my skin and Khuraira made me look flawless both times she did my makeup. Her products are incredible and her technique is phenomenal. Plus she's incredibly sweet. She did all the bridesmaids in both weddings as well as the mom's and even grandmother in my sister-in-law's wedding. Everyone looked perfect! This place is absolutely horrendous if you are Asian. They will make you look like a drag Queen and refuse to fix your make up. They have no idea how to work with Asian faces. The owner is also completely unsympathetic, rude and narcissistic. She refused to even discount for ruining my face on an important day and I did not have time to fix it. The great thing about Khuraira's airbrush technique is it allows you to look flawless for countless hours. As an event planner, I row up my sleeves to get the event together, change into something fabulous for showtime, hustle, mix and mingle, and work, work, work throughout the night, then get out of the Cinderella clothing, back into the scrubs and oversee the breakdown of the venue until the wee hours of the morning. I felt so beautiful after having my makeup done by her and the best part was that I felt like myself--often times having your makeup done will leave you looking too "done". Khuraira did a wonderful job with my wedding makeup. The entire bridal party was thrilled with her work - my mother-in-law said that she had no idea what a difference makeup could make until she had her makeup done for the wedding. Many members of the bridal party (including myself) rarely wore makeup, and Khuraira was able to create beautiful looks that did not feel too heavy for us, and she was also able to create looks that made the bridesmaids who like to wear a lot of makeup very happy. Khuraira has been doing my make-up since I moved to the neighborhood. She does a great job delivering on exactly what you ask for. She makes even the most glam of looks look VERY natural. I found this professional makeup artist after a google search. I needed my makeup done to cover some pigmentation/scarring marks on my arm and boy was glad I found Khuriara, she took her time to asses my needs and match my skin tone as I tend to be many different tones and not one specific shade. She is very skilled in airbrush makeup and her 20 years of experience shows. She is knowledgeable and well versed in all skin types. I would highly recommend this artist for weddings, graduations, or special events.
