I was referred to West Coast Arrhythmia Center because I pass out weekly, low oxygen level when I'm up and about and I have severe arrhythmia's including, SVT, PVC's, PAC's, A-Fib, A-Flutter and my doctors told me that I need a pacemaker and a 3rd cardiac ablation for the SVT with A-Flutter to save my life. This big jolly man could not contain his laughter as he informed me that I never should have had any procedures and that I don't need a pacemaker. This man crushed my Spirit, threw me into a depression and I'm trying to pull myself out of. My pulmonologist continues to urge me to find another EP to do the pacemaker and my cardiologist put me on another cardiac monitor to Laugh at West Coast Arrhythmia Center to verify the previous Loop Recorder and Hospital readings. This man did more harm then any thing to me and my family. I hope he is treated the same way he treated his patients and their family. I'm in distress and need help, not a laugh and slap in the face. Very unprofessional.

I have very little pain, and the affects of the general anesthesia are subsiding. Dr. Politz spends time with his patient before the surgery, explaining everything and answering questions. He just called me tonight to make sure I was doing ok. How many surgeons give a patient their cell number? His bedside manner is superb, and his skill and experience is evidenced by his having performed over 10,000 thyroid and parathyroid surgeries. He is one of the best in the country - people come from other states and even other countries to be cared for by him.

It has been 6 months and my legs hurt worse than before and cosmetically the veins seem to protrude much more! I am not sure this procedure helped at all! Second issue is billing! They have a very big problem with keeping track of payments! Save your receipts! I never once went to that office and failed to pay my co-pay! Every three months or so they would tell me I had a delinquent amount of $90! Their office staff is very snarky and the woman in charge of billing is not helpful. I will not go back!

I get a call from his surgery scheduler and I am told it is not covered and asked for the codes. I recalled my insurance company, went over the codes and they verified it was covered. My insurance company told me that they never received a request for authorization from them. I called the scheduler back and she tells me we didn't request authorization as we already know this is not covered, but you can pay for it yourself. Time to move on.
