Further, one had a broken seal and a few had become difficult to operate. The older sliding glass doors felt heavy to open and close. We decided to replace all 10 windows as well as the two sliding glass doors. After a few estimates and discussions with contractors, we decided to go with Extra Clear Windows and Doors. Eddie helped with making some decisions related to reconfigurations for two of the windows. He also helped us with understanding the different types of installation. We chose the new construction installation type for all of the openings. We felt this option offered a better looking final result. It also meant all new flashing and all new exterior wood trim. The additional cost was reasonable for this option. We selected the Anlin windows after Eddie showed us samples of a few options. Eddie handled all of the steps including pulling the permit and setting up the inspections. New construction installation requires two inspections - one before trim is applied so that the county can inspect the flashing, then another after the job is fully completed. Prior to the installation date, Eddie's team dropped off the wood trim so that we could paint it. On the day of the installation, he and his team arrived on time. The team was great. They were very efficient, attentive and asked us questions along the way to make sure they understood our needs. They also answered any questions we might have had. They were very respectful of our home, as well. I can't say enough about how good the team was to work with. The first portion of the installation was completed on day one. Eddie had already scheduled the inspector to come out the next business day (Monday.) After this first inspection, his team was able to finish up the balance of the job, installing the exterior wood trim, that same day. The final inspection occurred the next day, without issue. We are very happy with our new windows. From the ease of use to the attractive design to the improved clarity, they are a considerable upgrade! We love how they look and operate. We also notice less noise from outside. The reconfigurations we chose do to have also been quite positively impactful. Most notably, there was a large window in the living room that we never opened because we relied on the other smaller windows and the sliding door in that room for air circulation. We decided to make the large window into a picture window instead. What a wonderful transformation that turned out to be! All in all, Eddie and his team did a great job of providing us with the new windows and doors our home needed. We are very happy with the results, and recommend Extra Clear Windows and Doors.

The sales representative, Gary Lee, came out to my house and brought many samples of the windows choices and hardware accessories. So convenient! Gary was very nice and knowledgeable. He explained the technology of the windows and the various options that were available. He was not a high-pressured salesman at all, which I appreciated. Gary patiently explained the lifetime warranty. So after obtaining estimates from 3 different window companies, I ended up selecting Gary with CECS. A couple weeks later, my windows were installed. They're beautiful and I love them! Fast forward 14 years later, I called Gary back because I was having an issue with a couple of windows that weren't latching. Gary very graciously came out personally after all these years and took care of the problem. He had to remove the windows to make adjustments, which resolved the problem on both windows. Gary also used a dry silicone spray, which enabled all my windows to glide so smoothly when opened and closed. He also made a couple other adjustments and my windows feel like they're brand new again. I'm so grateful to Gary for coming out and repairing/resolving the issue with my windows. He never made me feel like he was being inconvenienced - he acted as though it was a pleasure to help me!
