This review might change in the future…read more We are about three classes in. We were on a wait-list, and it took about 2 weeks before a spot opened up. Not bad. Now we are doing the classes. Three classes in and so far and I'm not impressed. It starts at 4:30 pm, and by 4:45, my son (8 years old) is still on a line behind a few kids, waiting to try the obstacle course. They have 8 kids with 2 coaches, which makes it 1:4, but so far I don't feel any benefit from that ratio. Don't get me wrong, the coaches have a great attitude, and they seem to be having fun with the kids, but it's a bit crowded. There are just too many kids. They split the junior course up into three sections. It seems each group of 8 kids and 2 coaches take 20 mins on 1/3 of the course. There are two other groups (also with 8 kids and 2 coaches) doing the other parts of the course. In that 20 min segment that my son and his 7 teammates are attempting, my son has all of one solid try on the course. He finishes, and gets to the back of the line, but at this point they ring a bell, and they move on to the next course. He didn't really have any practice time on this part of the course. Why? Because there really are just too many kids. It's not like the kids whiz by efficiently, which is perfectly fine. They take their time, look around, try the first part, fall, then try that same part again. Meanwhile, the 7 other kids waiting their turn are talking, jumping, and obviously have a lot of energy and nothing to use it on. Where is the other coach? Why isn't he trying to get these 7 restless kids to do something while that one kid is taking his turn? In the one hour that my son is there, he has tried the whole course, with at least one real turn, and maybe 2 if he's lucky. Is this worth $149/month? I don't believe this is a great program. There's really no structure, other than 2 coaches handling 8 kids, and making sure they line up and wait their turn. Ok, fine, when they are taking their turn, the coaches hold them, and guide them. I can do this with my kids at the monkey bars in a park. We are going to finish out the month. But I don't know if we want to continue to pay $149/month for an hour in their gym, where 70% of the time my son is waiting for his turn. I hope it gets better. Again, we are only 3 lessons in.

I was able to cancel the memberships but still had to pay next months payment of $250. Apparantly, cancelations must be made prior to the 14th of each month. I had several email conversations and realized I was just dealing with puppets, kids following the rules. I would stay clear of this place, unethical behavior.

Beka is a rare find. I didn't expect our child to learn more with our first one hour private lesson…read morewith coach Beka than the 5 hrs of private lessons he had taken with another coach (not affiliated with Beka Tennis Academy) . We were looking for an after school class to complement his private lessons and decided to give Beka a try to see if he would be a nice fit for our family. And after the group classes we have decided that for our son's benefit it would be best to only learn with coach Beka and, do the private lessons as well as the group classes only with him. We have invited our son's friends and they have all loved their classes and asked to come back . My husband and I are also planning to join the adult group classes. What we love about Beka is that he is fun and at the same time rigorous. The kids love him, but he still finds a way to instill discipline while fostering their love for tennis. Beka is not only a very talented coach, but he is a family man, as well as a great human being. Maia the academy coordinator, is amazing as well. She responded to our emails promptly and it was a breeze to communicate and schedule the lessons. The clay courts are nice , surrounded by trees across from a Country Club. The surroundings are peaceful. Can't wait to see our son grow as a Tennis player and as an even better human with Beka as his coach and mentor.

He is able to work with all ages and skill levels…read more Beka was my first coach and he improved my game tremendously, unfortunately, we are no longer in the same state or I would continue taking lessons from him. Beka is very patient and has the ability to quickly identify and fix problem areas in your game. I think one of Beka's strengths is the ability to make tennis fun. He knows when to be strict with a student and when to ease off so as not to turn someone off from the game he has so much love and passion for.

Mr. Pereira and the school were extremely inviting and the warm atmosphere they create made beginning so easy. It is a great workout and really helps with confidence, body awareness, and is a great activity for mindfulness. I cannot stress how much of a benefit this is for me. The smaller class size is also great for learning and matching up with someone of comparable skill. It was a little difficult to find at first, however, and the dojo is on the smaller side.

We absolutely love Kinetic Kids. Our daughter has been going to gymnastics here for the past 6…read moremonths and the instructors are so friendly, knowledgable and supportive. Our daughter has learned and grown so much from these instructors in just half a year. The studio is clean, well taken care of, decorated nicely and nicely maintained. We like that the classes are a full hour and there are a variety of activities so that it is not the same redundant class each week. They vary from working on the balance beams, bars, floor and trampolines. They are also very flexible if you miss a class and let you make it up by attending their open gym sessions on Friday evenings, so that makes it very convenient for us. We can't wait to continue on at Kinetic Kids for many years to come. If you are looking to enroll your child in gymnastics, we highly recommend this place!
