Great place, lots of shade during these hot days sure has been a relief. Kids loved fishing in the ponds. We will be back!

We LOVE the wine and the wine tasting. Live music is great as well. It is definitely a regular spot for us and we will continue to go there.

Lovely place, very quiet (we're here in April 2026). The check in was easy, friendly and…read morewelcoming. The sites are large, most are shaded and all hookups work great and are easily accessible. The shade will be welcome in the Carolina summer . This is on a rural road, so there aren't any traffic problems . We have 2 dogs, both about 50 lbs. There are plenty of places to walk them, but the dog park is small and not well maintained. ( minus half star) . And every site has mulch, which seems to track more debris indoors and may account for the presence of small bugs. (minus half star). We didn't use the campground restrooms or the laundry, so no comment. Overall, a nice place to hang out. PS. Next day - the laundry room is small, 2 washers and dryers. Signage shows 1 dryer not working. It's wrong, neither dryer works. Pretty challenging to be on the road with a basket full of wet laundry. Lost a full star for this. tomorrow's campground has a working dryer. And no staff seen here on Sunday to inform.

It has taken me a few weeks to write this review because I wasn't sure what to say. Our experience…read morewasn't bad per se, but wasn't great. If you're looking for a spot to park, here's your spot.

Let me first clearly state this is NOT a resort. A "resort" is a term that campground owners are…read moreclearly taking advantage. Secondly, this was previously a KOA and is not a newer campground. I visited in a 40 ft motorhome and was placed in one of the smaller spots from what I can see walking around as many sites were of nice size. The site picnic tables are concrete so unable to move them and mine was placed at the very front of my site making it useless unless you want to be roadside attraction. It didn't take me long to understand why when I wanted to put my awning out and bring out my chairs I would be sitting on top of my neighbors sewer and electrical box, yes, they were right beside my camper on the passenger side making no room for a picnic table. Therefore, no sitting outside on this trip unfortunately. As far as the "resort"......not even close. They offer no resort amenities. No concrete pads, no food service, no planned activities for the kids, a very small pool was closed for the season. So we are clear on my expectations and experiences at a true "RV Resort" they have a restaurant on property, they have concrete pads, they most often have a year round pool or hot tub, they have spacious sites, the property is well maintained, they have places around the campground you can sit and relax or have family activities. This place offered none of this but yet the price we paid during off season was more than what we pay at ocean front resorts in NC. This campground is more of a community of long term or permanent campers. Some sites need to be reeled in by the owner as they look look like a collection point of recycling. A camper at one particular sites was circled by debris doing this place no favors. The place was full of RVs, but yet we saw only about 3-5 people over a 3 day stay. The customer service over the phone was great. Very friendly and helpful. They do have a limited offering of supplies in the office. The price point from my experiences here would be more realistic at $30-40 off season and 50-60 during peak. We paid $80 off season. This will not happen again as there are choices in the area where the prices are more balanced with offerings for a visit with family who live in the area.

The office crew was great! Even met a woman from our home state. Dogs were all CUTE!…read more But, the landscape crew mows, blows, etc while your RV is in its rented spot. You park on the concrete pad, that is where they blow. They mow, etc your spots grass that is inches away. Actually they have to go under the slide-outs, to mow. No warning/permission was given, they just invade your privacy. As we packed up on the last day to exit the park, 2 male's continually passed by, like vultures, time & time, again. What is this the Mafia? To much pressure! With the cost of RV's these days & possible damage, extra training should be involved.

It was super easy to book online and they called right after to confirm and share details before we arrived. Since it was December I only booked a few weeks before but I'm sure during peak season you'll have to book earlier. There are 100+ sites that have a concrete pad with a picnic table and fire pit. Check-in was simple but know there are two entrances and one is locked until you get a code. Devon at the front desk was very friendly. She shared some area activities and restaurants. The park was clean, well organized and there was a lot of large RV's. It has a beautiful view of the intracoastal with decks, a trail around a small pond, kayak rentals, dog park and activities hall. We missed all their Christmas events but enjoyed walking around and hanging out at our site. We used the fire pit every night for dinner. They also have a bathhouse with separate bathrooms which was nice but could use a little refreshing. The staff was awesome cleaning the grounds and they even had daily trash pickup from your site. We will definitely come back to this park.
