They offered to remake our sandwiches, I got to the store, they had a slip of paper which they put our repeat order on and put it up on the line. When I offered feedback, the worker was rude and stated "well, we've been doing it for 4 years this way and you're the first person to say anything", as if that makes a difference - today, it was not the move (it's an American skillet with nothing Mexican about it, just use cheddar or something, it's not even Tex-Mex). The coffee is OK, nothing special, only the wait times are extraordinarily long for what makes Starbucks look like a 5 star-enterprise. Ambiance is charming; definitely stayed for the Jesus Christ-themed coffee, which is definitely a choice to say the least...

Based on their Facebook page, it appears that the chef behind these creations is professionally-trained Daniel Medina. We purchased a big loaf (600 grams, $10) of sourdough bread with Kalamata olives. It was excellent. Access was easy off Johnson Road, and there is ample parking in a gravel lot. It was also easy to pay with either cash or a cash app. The stand is currently open Thursdays to Sundays. Custom orders and pre-orders are also welcomed. I particularly appreciate that they have on-site cameras, not only for security but also for distracted customers (like me!) who inadvertently leave their phones at the stand. The owners recognized my mistake, took my phone into their home for safe-keeping, and reached out to my texting daughter to identify me! Very honest and very much appreciated!

Since it was around Christmas, I got some fabulously decorated sugar cookies with wreaths and festive colors. Now, in my experience, a festive sugar cookie is usually mostly focused on the look and not something you're excited to eat... but these were also soooo tasty!! The sugar cookies and brown butter cookies got rave reviews from everyone who consumed them. Can't wait to order again soon!
