It is conveniently located near the Community South Hospital complex. This is one of the few PT studios that has a resident Occupational Therapist. Leann is amazing. Scheduling is simple and easy. I did my schedule for two months out. They handle all types of therapy including knees, shoulders, elbows, post-surgery, post-stroke....You will need a doctor's prescription though. Hannah, one of the physical therapist has a lot of energy and is very upbeat and positive. Abagail works the front desk like a boss. I have been going here for a while and have been making a lot of progress. As part of my journey, I have been to a few PT studios and this one is the best by far. They carry high ratings across all the popular review websites for a reason. Hopefully you will never need physical therapy, but if you do. You need to go to this gem of a studio. They are kind, patient, open, welcoming and so incredibly loving and patient with all of the children and their varied needs. They definitely put their patients first and have become such a support system physically and emotionally for my daughter and all of her surgeries. And such great advocates for their patient's needs. There just isn't enough time for me to express my gratitude I was super grateful at all the precautions they implemented when COVID started, to protect their kiddos while still giving them the services they need to be happy and healthy. They also have lots of extracurricular activities throughout the year--carnivals, camps, Halloween activities....as a little girl they even had a special needs swim team she participated in. They work really hard at making everyone of all abilities feel welcome and creating a community of inclusion. Only good vibes here!

Ryan McDivitt at Athletico in Avon was my physical therapist for two months starting December 2015…read more I walked into this office with no core strength at all... two babies and a surgery had ruined any muscle that I had previously. I wasn't even able to get into a plank position, let alone do a push-up. Ryan and the rest of the Athletico staff were amazing! I did two 1.5 hour visits per week for about eight weeks. By the end of my time at Athletico, I was able to hold a plank for 10 seconds at a time and now, 8 months later, I'm able to hold it for a minute and a half! 4 months after I finished, I ran the Indianapolis Mini marathon, and I'm training for a full marathon this December with no back pain! I can't believe the difference that Ryan and his staff made in my life!! DO THE EXERCISES they assign - they really do work!!! :)

I had a serious car accident in which a food delivery service driver disregarded a stop sign and…read morefailed to look both ways hence pulled out in front of me at the last minute resulting in a head on collision breaking my hip, femur, and neck. After the doctors screwed me back together with thirteen screws and the associated plates, ATI worked with me to get me back to my previous mobility. After basically being on my back for three months and immobile, using a walker and only one leg to "hop" to the bathroom, I needed to regain muscular strength. I came here three times a week usually, sometimes only twice a week, for five months. The staff kept increasing the difficulty of the exercises or added weights until I improved from my initial 50-60 percent mobility to 80% within the first six weeks to eventually 90% of my pre-accident mobility and strength. All of the staff were supportive, super friendly and extremely accommodating with my constant tweaking of appointment times to fit my busy schedule which included multiple doctor appointments, dental appointments and picking up my granddaughter from school every day. I learned many exercises that I will be able to utilize long after I finish with physical therapy. It seems like I have always had a stiff neck off and on, probably from being a side sleeper, long before my accident. Some simple neck and shoulder exercises they showed me will be of great benefit from now on.

The professional staff is uninterested and unmotivated and are on their laptops most of the time. The director is only interested in sports bros or girls. Clients such as myself never got manual treatment or any prolonged attention yet an attractive young client got full time attention for the entirety for her visits by the Physical Therapist. The Physical Therapist raised his voice with myself and someone I was speaking with because he didn't like our politics. Childish, emotionally unqualified. The whole operation is unprofessional with the exception of the aides. Machines are dirty. Equipment generally looks like it came from a yard sale. Staff will walk right past without even saying good mornin.
