While being here Lavanna had to watch her baby get a needle stabbed into his arm. Nurse Jessica was the one to perform the blood draw and I'm confident to say she doesn't know how to draw blood. The nurse just moved the needle around in Lennons arm causing him to scream bloody murder. Yes i'm aware babies cry but, this baby wasn't crying when she inserted the needle. He only started to scream and cry when she was jamming the needle in his arm trying to find a vein. If all of this isn't enough, after the fact Jessica decide to say to Lavanna, and I quote "I just love poking babies". This is not okay in any way and really irritates me that this baby boy had to go through this. I think Nurse Jessica should be ashamed of herself and the whole office needs to look at it's employees a little further.

Not only was the he disrespectful, but he rushed through the appointment without allowing me to ask questions. When I tried to seek clarification on my health concerns, I was brushed off and told to save my questions for the next appointment. This lack of attentiveness and dismissive attitude left me feeling unheard and undervalued, and disrespected as a patient. I would not recommend Fadi Wehbi to anyone seeking professional and thorough medical care. This guy shouldn't be allow to practice as a doctor. Truly a horrible experience.

She literally works 24 hours 7 days a week. In addition, not only is her communication up-to-par, but she has helped save me money. The entire team does a fantastic job, and I recommend them to anyone seeking this type of procedure. Over several months of visits they prepped me, taught me all about healthy foods, exercise, and how this surgery would change my life. They made me feel at ease, with no questions left unanswered. They accept a variety of insurance types, and were always able to get my appointments in the afternoons, as I prefer them to be. Getting closer to the surgery date my mind naturally began to get some anxiety and I was having about a 20% thought of not having the surgery. After talking to several others who had this surgery, the surgeon, other doctors and nurses, my mind was set and committed 100% to doing it. Now, 6 weeks post surgery, I am doing great, I have lost 60lbs in 6 weeks, and am not hungry at all, and sticking to my eating regimen, and all is going perfect for me concerning this operation. Even now when I go out with friends and family to restaurants and see all the yummy items on the menu and watch them eat in front of me, although the steaks, burgers, seafood, and other items look so tasty, I stick to my plan, and am not tempted at all. Although it might be about 1 year before I can again partake in eating the many foods that I did love, my current eating plan now satisfies my previously insatiable carnivorous hunger cravings. It is just as many others I spoke to that have had this same surgery all had one statement in common, which I now better understand and 100% agree with; "This surgery changed and saved my life." This is the IU Health - Glendale Town Center practice, a practice devoted to primary care and also…read morepediatrics. There's also a lab available in this office. For those familiar with Glendale Town Center, this is located on the second floor of the offices section of the complex on the side directly off of East 62nd Street. There's a small lobby/storefront area directly next to Mattress Firm that has an elevator that will take you to the second floor. There's also a set of stairs available for those who prefer. I needed to establish care with a new primary care physician as my previous one relocated to Shelbyville and is just a bit too far away for me. I'd previously looked at appointments here, however, they were a couple months out and I skipped it. However, because I attend an IU Health clinic elsewhere they were able to get me in within a couple weeks. They do have automatic doors for those who need them. That's a plus. I also noted very quickly that this was one of the better looking and cleaner IU Health clinics I've experienced. I arrived a good 15-20 minutes before my scheduled check-in time and checked in at the front desk. Because I'm an established IU Health patient, I didn't really need to do much else. I waited in the waiting room until I was called. I was taken back in a timely manner. They asked me how I usually got weighed (I don't usually as most clinics are not set up for wheelchair users) and I did note they didn't have any of the modern tech that would do that without a scale. I was taken into an exam room - very small room that would definitely not be considered ADA compliant. It was so small I had to move quite a bit in order for the employees to get around me. I did like that they had an exam bed that was lower to the ground and adjustable. However, this was definitely not an appropriate room for a wheelchair user. My doctor was Dr. Boyce. We had a nice conversation about my needs for the day. She only works part-time in the clinic and we also discussed that. It was a fine appointment - not outstanding, however, there was really nothing wrong with it. I was somewhat hesitant to establish with IU as they are not the top tier of my insurance, however, Dr. Boyce seems nice and this is very close to my home. So, it should work. My hope is that in the future I can utilize a more appropriate exam room. However, overall, this was a solid experience with friendly staff and a warm, comfortable atmosphere.

The medication lasted 9 days after which the pain started to return. I called them on day 13 to have them renew my prescription or get me another that would eliminate my pain. I was told that their policy was they would only prescribe a new medication within 9 days of being seen and I would have to come back and pay another $179 to address my issue. My prescription didn't run out until 9 days passed! They also said my NP who prescribed my medication was off that day and and another attending would not write a script without seeing me first for another $179. What... I guess the other attending couldn't read my file, or even make a phone call to the NP??? This place is nothing but a money grab, forget being cared for like they care about you, it's all about the money!!!!!

I encountered Dr. Vallabhaneni during my recent hospitalization at St. Francis Hospital, part of…read morethe Franciscan Health System. Dr. Vallabhaneni, who often goes by the abbreviated "Dr. V," was part of my inpatient team of doctors treating a variety of concerns and served as my internal medicine doctor during the majority of my stay until it changed in the last 3-4 days - I believe she was headed on vacation and, as such, my last few days were actually under a different physician. Dr. V is part of the practice of Indiana Internal Medicine Consultants, a Greenwood-based practice that seems to primarily work through Franciscan. I have not dealt with them in terms of outpatient and my entire experience with Dr. V was during my inpatient stay. You could tell that Dr. V has the respect of the staff of the unit where I was treated, which was 4 South in the Cardiac Center. Staff members were quick to compliment both her knowledge and bedside manner. They correctly predicted that I would appreciate her as I am big on customer service and communication, both areas in which Dr. V would prove to excel. Dr. V visited my unit daily - most often in the mid-to-late morning hours. She was serious, yet always smiled and I was constantly impressed with her willingness to take the time to explain concerns, test results, diagnostic concerns, and any new or unresolved issues. She didn't just tell you things, but she ensured that you actually understood what she was telling you and what it meant for you and your care. She was, by far, the most communicative of the physicians who worked on my case and she had a way of communicating that made me feel like she was listening to me and that I was in good hands with her. I also appreciated that she had a very even-keeled demeanor. She would talk about serious issues, but she didn't do so in a way that panicked you. You took her seriously, but she made you feel safe in her care. I was also impressed that she was aware of my financial concerns. While I'm insured, as a person with a disability I have in the past experienced severe financial distress because of my health and she understood this and made sure to always let me know that the team was making sure that anything ordered was actually approved by insurance. I didn't have to ask her about these concerns - she understood they were there and addressed them upfront. Again, she worked very naturally to keep me calm and engaged in my recovery from a serious illness. I was disappointed when Dr. V left my case as it felt like the quality of my internal medicine care did drop and I didn't get the quality level of communication from the replacement physician. Dr. V is simply an absolute gem - she's incredibly knowledgeable and knows how to communicate that knowledge in a way that is simple, user-friendly, and accessible. She's compassionate, personable, and very interactive. She takes the time needed to listen, understand concerns, and explain her own concerns. While I don't live near Greenwood, she's definitely a doctor I would return to again and I really appreciated her compassionate, knowledgeable care as I dealt with serious health issues. She provided quality care in a way that made me feel safer and less anxious about the entire ordeal.
