They tried to offer me $14 for 23 items, and most of them were brand new since my son just had a growth spurt. I ended up taking back items l gave them the items that actually been used, and somehow they gave me almost $8 store credit or $6 cash for those instead... this does not make sense. They offer two or three dollars for items that are well kept and put it on the floor for more. read more

A change in your return policy. I spent $45 on a scooter and a bike, not realizing that they were not suitable for my grandchildren's age. The next day, I returned with my receipt, but you refused to accept it, citing your return policy. But you were willing to buy them back for $15. Kid to Kid is a primarily a gently used store and it's a great concept, especially in a world where fast fashion exist. The Pros are you can definitely find new items and the top brands here for a fraction of the price. They range in different sizes and have the store separated by gender. There's more girl clothes than there is for boys. They also carry toys, appliances and I've seen a few furniture pieces. Some common brands you'll find here include Gap, Zara, H&M, Carters, & target brands. They also run great sales. The employees are also usually very nice. The cons aren't many but they do take away from the experience. Selling here is a con in my eyes. I've brought in a ton of clothes that was probably worn once and I got $17 for all of it. I think I'm better off giving it away to someone that needs it. The store is also usually overcrowded and the inventory is usually not organized. You most definitely have to look around and have some time on your hands. Final Verdict: I do recommend this place. The cons don't outweigh the pros. This is definitely a quality store in the area and if you want to find some discounted items for your kid, look no further! read more

Do not sell your items here! They rob you and FORCE you to take their laughable offers. They call it an appraisal when you take it in, but you're actually giving them your items for such a small amount, I would rather give these items to people for FREE!! When I told them my high value items in perfect condition were worth more and I wanted them back, they told me they were tagged for sale on the floor already and that I HAD to take whatever offer they gave me! Very clean store. There is no foul odor like some other consignment shops. The staff seem like they got along very well that's always a plus. The employees are also very helpful and didn't mind getting stuff from me off the top shelf just for me to look at yet alone if I was going to buy it or not. And nowadays customer service is just something that seems like it really does Not exists anymore and I hate that. That's why I don't shop a lot of places because I don't have to give you my money. I really love this store! I appreciate the fact there's a place to get affordable yet GOOD QUALITY clothes for my 8-year old son who magically makes a hole in his jeans every other week. Im so convinced the class used their knees to get around instead of their feet LOL No but seriously it's a blessing to have this store near me. Being from LA even the children thrift store there were expensive but here it's affordable. On the flip side I always look forward to bringing a bag of clothes in to "sale" because it helps me rid the unused clothes and items of his while also scoring a discount on new things from the store. The only reason I give a 4 instead of a 5 star is because there's been a few times I've given brand new vans and Nikes, with the box and tags and was offered penny's on the dollar. There's room to offer a better rate when someone has brand new items. Other than that you guys are awesome! read more

They severely underprice individuals and are not upfront about their policies. I suggest selling your items as a lot online through Ebay or Facebook Marketplace or at least those items that you value to be more than $5. A girl named Judy priced out my stuff and she gave me $4.80 for a barely worn pair of boys Timberlands. Supposedly they only give you 40% of what they can sell an item for. I would have kept the shoes but in the small writing it said if you drop off your items vs wait you basically are at their mercy and have to take whatever offer they give you and you can't get your items back...I don't trust them, I rather give my stuff away for free to the homeless or refugees than put money in the pockets of big companies such as this or even Goodwill. read more

This place is a dream for baby clothes. I get all my son's clothes here now and wish I had known about this store before he was born. Not only does it save money but it keeps kid stuff out of the trash. The store is packed with gently used clothes, some more worn than others but the prices usually reflect that. Onesies run about $.99, pant & top outfits run $3-5, pajamas are usually $2.99. We've also gotten board books here for $1.99 each. The baby gear section is usually well stocked. Pricing there is hit or miss. I have never sold here but imagine they don't offer much given the low prices. read more

It's safe to say that I'm obsessed with this store! I love going there to browse their inventory, and I always come home with something great. I would give this store five stars, because as a buyer, it is a five star business. However, they buy their items from sellers and give them store credit or 20%, which is ridiculously low. You can sell at a consignment sale and make 70%, why would you sell to Kid to Kid and only make 20? As a place to sell items, I give it one star. I love their items, and won't ever sell to them, so I give it four stars because the selection and price is unmatched as a buyer. Much of my kids' wardrobes come from this store, it's a lot of effort but you can get decent clothes for decent prices. Notice I did not say good clothes for good prices. I've had really good luck with shoes, especially sports shoes. Love that they're already broken in. Selling here sucks. You're really better off giving your clothes to a friend or the good will. It's frustrating, and as someone who shops there, I really wish that whoever bought like 90% of the clothes on the rack was there when I was trying to sell - when I'm selling seems like the ultra selective girls are around. I've bought mismatched shoe sizes, clothes that were stitched back together, holes in them... But a tiny area of pilling in clothes I'm selling is a total non start. My feeling is Similar to visiting Taobao, they sale the second hand and new items. Of course, you can sell your kids item if you wanted. Such a shame that this store is not compliant with ADA concerning face masks. As a person who has multiple health conditions and cannot wear a mask as it's a detriment to my health, I was harassed and forced out of the store with my two children AFTER shopping for an hour already. I had a cart full of clothes, and was treated so horribly. They won't be getting my money ever again. I'll be reporting to their corporate and if needed, take further action because this whole situation has been absurd. Do not sell here! I gave them 3 diaper boxes and one large bag of clothes from size 12 months to 2T, fall, winter, and summer clothes. There were 2 brand new never worn outfits with tags still on them. They gave me $11 for my items, 13.20 for the store credit! This is ridiculous. I talked to a manager about how they determine value and she said .17 for onesies and other items won't get more than 3 or 4 dollars. But this still doesn't add up b/c out of everything i gave, there were probably 10 onesies and hundreds of other items in very good condition. The math doesn't add up to 13.20 plain and simple. I didn't expect to get anywhere close to what i paid for the items, but the value they determined was just unfair. It's a rip off to sell here. I won't be selling or buying here again. read more

I had sone very nice things I took here on a Friday evening to sell and was told by the clerk the wait for an offer would be one hour but I could leave then and some one would call me with an offer. I never heard anything so first thing Monday I called and was informed that they have a no call policy and that they had already "bought" and sold. my items and would be giving me 8$! I am in dis belief! I specifically said not to do anything with my things until I heard what the offer was. FIRST COME FIRST SERVED. except at kid to kid. My issue with this place was the whole process of buying my items. I got there when they opened and got the third slot on the selling sign in sheet. I dropped four bins and a bag of shoes off, signed my paperwork and was on my way. After not hearing from them for 5 hours I went back to the store to see what the hold up was. Surely it wouldn't take 5 hours to go through my items especially since I was the third person in the store that morning. I was told by a highly unpleasant employee that when you leave the store or the shopping center that you lose your spot in line. Perhaps they are investing their money in GPS tracking devices to see who stays in the shopping center or not? PUHLEASE. She proceeded to tell me that the paperwork I had previously signed stated the "leave the store you lose your spot" rule. WRONGGGGG. We both read the forms together. Nowhere did it state you lose your spot if you leave. As I type this, my bins and bag of shoes are sitting on the floor behind the counter awaiting their low ball offer. You're better off selling your clothes for dirt cheap at a garage sale. **** I'm giving two stars because the store it is fairly clean and organized. read more

I drive past my closest location to go to this store. The customer service is just better. They are friendlier and always make me feel welcome. It is such a rare thing in retail to feel appreciated for your business. When you sell they can donate your items that they don't buy and will even give you a slip for your taxes. Honestly what could be better? One trip to sell, buy and make a donation. This is and will be where I buy and sell for my toddler for years to come. read more

Horrible customer service! 5 employees standing around in an over crowded store of customers. All 5 were arguing over who is going to have black Friday off. I arrived at the time specified to pick up my cash and remaining clothes they didn't purchase. I was told I had to wait for the two orders in front of me to be picked up, even though no one else was in the store. So I stood there waiting, for no reason. I had all brand new carters and osh kosh clothes, they selected a good half of what I brought in. $13!!!! They offered me $13! I took them all back, they lady threw them back in my basket! Yesterday I did business with Once Upon A Child. While customer service wasn't great there either, they at least called me to let me know my clothes were ready and gave me $51! I brought in a lot of stuff to sell and the amount of $ they offered me was way below what it should have been. This is the second time I tried to sell here with the same result. Oh and add to that... I had to 'shop around' while I waited for my offer and spent 1/3 of my tiny earnings on two items (sweatshirts). In the end, I "sold" 100 items and didn't even make $100. This place has great selection for kids. The clothes are like new or some are new at bargain price. The staffs are always kind. I like how they organize their clothing by size, color and type so it is very easy to look for what I want. And because kids get bored very easily getting used toy has been good.
