Very attractive, fun store that is terribly overpriced. The sweatpants, for example, were all pilled up but cost more than what I almost always buy them for brand new at the end-of-the-season sales, which are going on right now, just as this store is having its Grand Opening. There is a ton of selection, but the amount of wear on the garments is just not ok with me. The sale items are a joke. 10% off is almost nothing when it costs $10 or less. I'd definitely say it's far more prudent to simply buy new on sale or check out the competition. Love the concept, but the prices and state of the clothing make it a definite no-go for me. Go.and check out the dollar holiday bins for Christmas gear but, otherwise, not a win in my book. 2.5 stars for being bright, clean, fun organized store for kids. read more

I really like this store, my 3 year gold grows so fast that I've started buying him clothes and shoes from here. The have a lot of new stuff and even the used stuff is in great shape. I love this place. Great selection and prices, and if you sign up for their email list, you get even more discounts and specials that you otherwise wouldn't have the scoop about. I can buy a ton of clothes for about $35-40, where at any other store you might get a few outfits. Only drawback is that the place gets pretty crowded on the weekends... kids running around everywhere, etc. and the lines can be kind of long. So Kid To Kid has recently moved to a bigger spot (per my understanding), and while I haven't ventured into the clothing or kids/baby stuff yet, I went in to see their maternity selection. Let's face it, getting maternity wear is fun but frustrating. I've gone to Motherhood Maternity, Old Navy, and Target for a selection of clothes, but it ends up being more than I'd pay for non-maternity clothes and the selection is limited. What's nice about Kid 2 Kid's new location is a whole row of gently used maternity clothes! They had a pretty good selection and I know they won't end up taking most of my things (they have a lot of the nicer stuff!) once I have my baby in January, but it's great for finding some items that won't break the bank! I got a pair of dress pants and a dress shirt for about $20! Definitely worth checking out! read more

The staff was and still so nice to my family and I, they even know me by name. My mother went in recently and purchased clothing and sent it to Texas and the staff was really nice and helpful. This company is shady. I came in there to drop off for the first time ever. It was crazy busy and I use to work in retail, so I get it!! She highlighted all the places for me to sign and I filled out my information and quickly got out of there because I could not wait around the store. They called to tell me that they wanted to give me $25 and to come and pick up the rest of my clothes. MIND YOU, I had brand new/barely worn GAP sweaters, Oshkosh items, Vans shoes, heavy winter coats and much more WHICH THEY TOOK and to just get $25?!?! Heck no. I wanted ALL my items back for me to sell elsewhere. My husband went to go pick up the items and they were already tagged and on the floor! THIS COMPANY IS DISHONEST. They need to be upfront about this policy before having their first time customers quickly sign documents and then leaving. I guess *shame on me* for not reading between the lines and not doing the proper research because apparently this is a problem. If you are attempting to trade your clothes are sell them this is not the place. You are better offer trying your luck on Ebay or Craigslist. If you are buying clothes - the younger your child the better. They have a fair selection of affordable infant clothing. The toys and equipment are too pricey for a resale shop. So, if you need cheap clothes it's an ok place. If you are looking for equipment may not be the place for you. read more

I'm giving 3 stars for one reason - when I took clothes in to be sold they informed me that they could not take them and repeated the same thing to me and 1 other about stains and what not .. Makes sense right .. No - because these clothes were brand new. And as i proceed to shop im going through clothes that are way worse with stains that they have hanging -- don't get me wrong we shop here a lot for season changes to get a good deal but - that rubbed me the wrong way. Took clothes to sell for my first time. Woman at the counter just asked me a few questions and filled out a form. She then said she would call when they were done going through the items. Two days later Jenny S. Called and asked if I wanted 14.00 cash or could have 18.00 store credit. I advised I would take the cash. She was quite rude and advised she had left a voicemail the day before. I explained to her I did not get her voicemail because I had been sick. She then went on to explain that "drop offs" only received store credit. I told her that was not told to me when I dropped them off. She then rudely replied "well I'm just covering my basis". I haven't picked up the remainder of the clothes so I'm not sure what they took yet but all clothes were in great condition and in comparison to what's on the racks there I've never been able to figure out their logic of what they take and what they don't. This will be my last visit to Kid to Kid. I would like to shop in a place that makes sense and you feel like a welcome customer, not a nuisance. read more

I took a LARGE box, LARGE bag full of boys cloths 6-8 in GREAT condition and they only took maybe 6 items. I had two coats in great condition, they took neither. I had several toys in great condition and they took one. I am NEVER going back. This is the 2nd time I have been let down and they take nothing. But the cloths on the racks are pilled, thin, color faded, holy and not all that nice, but my cloths that are in great condition are turned down. They need new people trained properly in buying items. I was told by the lady who works Monday- Friday 8-4 that each buyer is different, some buy things that they should not. They have to place there initials on what they buy and are held accountable for it. She said if I see anything on the floor that looks bad I need to bring it to there attention that they don't have time to go behind the other buyers to ensure they bought good items. I said they everyone needs to be trained properly or only have one person doing they buying. This is after I waited 1hr and 45 mins for them to review my items. I had a really nice light weight down coat, one rated for like -30, she said it was stained when in fact it wasn't the dark spots was where I had washed it and the feathers had been moved, only needed to hang up for them to fluff back up. The unwanted items were just thrown in my box and bag, I had them nicely folded and placed in them. They took the unwanted toys and threw then in the diaper bag they refused to buy (Eddie Baurer, PERFECT condition) denting one toy and almost breaking another. I feel like to if I say I want to donate the unwanted items that they take and resell them to make a 100% profit. Since I have stopped saying I will donate my unwanted items I have been selling less and less each time. I have seen things before they said they would donate on the shelf for sale at a later date. When I use to say I will donate they bought more things. read more

This place is cute. Much better than once upon a child. Sometimes you can get a good deal on clothing here but other times I think the prices are still a little crazy for second hand clothing. The infant clothes are the fairly priced clothes. Once you get into big kids, you can find yourself paying $10 for jeans. I can get brand new jeans for less. And I wouldn't recommend selling here either. They offered me $7 for about 20 pieces of really nice clothing. Also, the staff was friendlier at the old and smaller location. My first time there, and the clothes are just ok on the same lines of the salvation arm. I was a droppn off. After I left my clothes there the girl at the register told me that I had to stay In the store. That wasn't a problem, until I heard her yelling my name out, this was so unprofessional. My first experience with Kid to Kid will DEFINITELY be my last! I took items in to sell. I was told it would be about 20 minutes if I waited. I decided to leave the items and have them call me when they were finished. The next afternoon I had not heard anything, so i called the store. I was told that they hadnt been through them and it would be 3-4 days before they could get to them. I stated I wasnt told this, but I said ok. When I was called they told me they would give me $15 for the items they wanted to buy and I needed to pick up the rest of the items within 3 days. I went to pick the items up, after a good 15 minutes of several associates looking for the items they were returning to me, I was told it they could not find them, but they would give me a $15 in store credit. I was EXTREMELY unhappy and SHOCKED that they "LOST" the items. I DID NOT want an in store credit! I asked for the owners contact information. I asked for a list of the items they did buy which then took another 15 minutes and a call to the owner to get a printout of that list. At no time when the associate spoke to the owner, did the owner offer me anything else. The customer service there is atrocious! Whats even more egregious is that they "lost" the rest of my items, and offered me nothing more than a $15 in store credit. I would NEVER step foot in this establishment again. I decided I would not even contact the owner, cut my losses, and never do business with Kid to Kid again! read more

I bought the stroller of my dreams today!!!! The price was spectacular and the staff was so helpful showing me how to open and close it they even held it for me so I could go pick it up. I've never had this great of an experience at a thrift/consignment store. I am over the moon, it was worth the drive and then some. For Used items this place is expensive, I went there to buy a baby swing. And per the sticker they claimed it retailed for $159.00, their price $89.00, wow that's a lot and I'm sure the warranty was less than 15 days. Amazon and target brand new was cheaper. read more
