She ended up falling in love with the most adorable chair for her daughter, so she purchased it online with the option of picking it up at her local PB Kids, because honestly who wouldn't love to save on shipping? We get a pick up date and on said date, we head over to pick it up. I offer to help carry it out, and after ooh-ing and ahh-ing over what seems to be an Anthropologie for specifically babies, we head up to the front to pick up said chair. My friend explains that she bought a chair online to ship to this PB Kids to pick up and pulls out the emailed receipt with all the necessary info. Now, instead of giving us the damn chair and asking if we needed anything else, we got a verbal ass whooping instead by some crusty employee with brown curly hair that looked to be around her late 30's/early 40's. Why you may ask? Because my best friend with cancer didn't physically come into the store and buy the one they had in stock or call ahead and ask for their display one so that this PB kids would get the commission/credit for the chair. This woman was just going OFF. I'm not sure what a child's chair ever did to this woman, but it must have been something traumatic considering the scene that she caused. While this woman was telling my friend to get her priorities straight, my friend (bless her heart) just wished her the best while I was ready to start yelling back. What's even more unbelievable is that no other team member stepped in. I just feel bad for this associates kids and husband, if she even has those. Anyways, don't shop here unless you want some middle aged broad screaming at you about making their numbers and profits fall when you buy something.

Let me start off by giving credit where credit is due. Shopping here is a positive experience... the store is quaint, smells pleasant (if you know you know), and has a wide array of items and selections. Butttt... Consigning here is frustrating, to say the least. The hoops you must jump through and the dates you must clock to finally get your commission check is outrageous. First, YOU must keep track online of what sells. Next, once YOU notice a sale, YOU must call in to "request" your commission of your item. Then, you must WAIT 90 days. After that 90 days, nope, you still don't get it yet, you must call in, again, to "re-request" your commission check. Next, almost there, you must receive a call back from the owner or manager to verify it and let them know you will be in that day or so to pick up your check. THEN, and only then, you may drive in to collect your check. By now, I'm mentally and physically exhausted... So, a great little shop but the policy on consigning needs a little tweaking! *** EDIT...... I have since dropped my 2 star to a 1 star because the owner got a little snarky and dishonest when commenting on my review... I did call on October 14, 2025, and I did bring an LV KeepAll in to potentially sell but then from there on you are not being 100% honest... At that October in store visit I was told to call about my check in mid January to get a specific date. When I called on January 6th, I was told then that the date was January 22nd but to call in a day before.. (like for what reason exactly? It's so redundant!) So, I called today on the 20th and was told verbatim by Kristina/Christina (sp?) that "The owner/manager would be calling me tomorrow on January 21st to verify my request and make sure that she can cut the check"!! It's at that point that I got frustrated and told her that it was at no fault of hers but that this checking, calling, and recalling policy just seems too much and is really annoying. She still insisted that the owner/manager still had to call me and I finally said "fine, whatever" and we ended the call. So it's not "deja vue" at all; I followed everything that I was told to do... I was told to call two different times and then that I'd get a call back to confirm. And that's what I did. But the cherry on top is that I said pretty much all nice things about shopping her store but in a forthright and semilighthearted way said that maybe the policy needed tweaking and she got so defensive and snarky and basically, instead of tweaking her policy, tweaked the truth... UPDATE TO THE CATTY OWNER.. Not hiding just haven't posted a review since 2012 so I added my full name and middle initial and a picture, you really got me!! But it's ok, dox me lol I don't care.. you're petty and insecure. Also I'm banned before I can pick up my check?! Are you a liar and a thief...?! I hope people know that's really what your contract is, just like your other 1 star review suggests, just a contract of mishmash so you can keep items and commissions!! The shop is mainly stocked with household merchandise ranging from essential goods to decorative. They always have a nice section dedicated to seasonal items so everything usually looks fresh and welcoming throughout the year. Not sure how it came to be known as Tuesday Morning, but I love stopping in whatever day of the week it is. Check hours of operation , since they tend to close much earlier than other retail stores.
