Choosing childcare is such an important decision, and while every family's experience is different, we are fortunate that ours has been nothing short of outstanding. Apple Blossoms has been an incredible partner in our children's growth. Over the years, we have watched our daughters thrive in ways that amaze us--growing in manners, responsibility, independence, vocabulary, communication, and overall positive behavior both at school and at home. Each teacher we've had the pleasure of working with has treated our girls with warmth, respect, and the kind of care you would hope for in a childcare setting. As twins, they've also been celebrated as individuals with their own cubbies, folders, and needs. They have never been treated as a "unit," but as two unique children whose differences are embraced and nurtured. The discipline and structure at Apple Blossoms have been exceptional. Our girls are great listeners, follow directions well, and when told "no," they don't tantrum but instead move on respectfully. These are skills that will serve them for life. They are also excellent eaters, make smart food choices, and benefit from the movement and outdoor play that is prioritized whenever the weather is safe. I especially appreciate the emphasis on fresh air, something I hope will mean even more snow play opportunities now that they are more independent. Academically, they have exceeded our expectations. After their very first month of Pre-K, they are already on the fast track to word identification and reading. Educators outside of Apple Blossoms have commented on how advanced their writing, spatial awareness, color use, and artwork are compared to typical kindergarten and even first-grade levels. Potty training was also a very positive experience for our family. After a short three-day introduction method at home, the classroom team was more than willing to adopt our practices. Both of our girls were completely potty trained in their early twos, and the school respected our choice to use pull-ups only at nap time, which made the transition between home and school seamless. Communication has been a strong point since the very beginning. When it comes to matters specifically related to our children, teachers have always been proactive and thoughtful in keeping us informed. Those one-on-one updates at drop-off and pick-up have given us confidence and peace of mind from the infant room through Pre-K. We personally value the face-to-face interactions we receive most of all. While the app is useful for quick notes, we don't expect teachers to be tied to their phones during the day while they are educating our children and we truly appreciate the personal updates we receive in conversation. We also encourage our daughters to share the "peaks and valleys" of their day, which helps us follow up thoughtfully if needed-- though, more often than not, they only report happy experiences aside from the occasional playground dispute. What has improved over time is the broader communication around classroom or school-wide changes and updates, which feels clearer and more consistent now than in earlier years. The program also recognizes holidays, cultural observances, and disability awareness days, making learning both educational and fun while fostering inclusion. Activities have been age-appropriate yet enriching, from classroom lessons to nature walks and field trips. Finally, the convenience of Apple Blossoms cannot be overstated. Their extended hours (6:30 AM-5:30 PM) are a lifeline for public service families like ours, and their commitment to staying open during inclement weather whenever safely possible shows their dedication to supporting essential workers. We are truly grateful for the foundation Apple Blossoms has built for our daughters. From academics to social development, independence, and beyond, they are thriving. Worst experience! It started out as a good experience when my son started going there at 4 Mos old…read morebut when he got older we started to realize the lack of care they really provided. My son started being bullied by the upper classroom kids and it was my son that was being blamed at 3 years old. We were being threatened by the director of the school that if we didnt test our son for autism or language issues then he'd be kicked out. So he was tested and passed with flying colors. Then we werent told by his classroom teachers that anything wrong was happening until the director basically told us he isn't allowed to come back because hes disruptive (at 3 years old!). We had witnessed the kids bullying our son on the playground and our son being blamed for it when we didnt make it known to the teacher we were there to see it. Come to find out later there was favoritism happening- the kids who were bullying my son was a teachers nephew so he gets to stay and my son was told to leave. The director was threatening and rude everytime we interacted with her. She doesnt care about the students one bit. The original director was kind when we first started there but once Bree stepped in, everything went downhill. No daycare should ever be run that way. You should feel comforted that you child is loved and cared for, not bullied out. I heard from a few other parents that they witness the same treatment. How sad. Very much do not recommend this place if you care for your child at all.

The place is extremely spacious, giving children lots of room to play; and the layout is unique and refreshing. When I came the teachers were warm and attentive and extremely friendly. I felt at ease as soon as I walked in. I do have to say that I am shocked by the negative review by Amanda O. On here. I was shown around and saw the playpens folded up and neatly tucked away; Mats for nap time were all organized in a closet, and toys were in toy boxes. I did not see any toys in cribs. I'd also like to point out that given how many children and toys there are, the place was impressively neat and organized. As for the baby room, I thought it was a great set up! It's its own separate room; confined and set up so the person in there can be attentive to all babies. The only reason we did not go with Ms Darlene's was merely because of distance. Even though we were unable to attend I highly recommend Ms Darlene's!

She only wanted free help and not consulting support from all the people that were in her presence as parents. Due to the sale of the school and the lack of interest for 8th grade the upper school was closed. We moved our daughter to Windham Middle School and if it was not for a full-time tutor she would have failed math. This was actually "taught" by Lyn's daughter and another instructor within HA. Core concepts were never taught but lots of photocopies of old textbooks were used as teaching materials and homework. This would explain why people used outside math teachers while their children were enrolled. In 1st grade we had 29 students and by 7th grade we had less than 10 and of the 10 only 5 were from the 1st grade class. They should be ashamed of themselves for charging what they did with the level of education being so low that back to basics was required to survive in another schools system. Keep in mind my daughter achieved high grades at HA and even made Honor Roll and High Honors. Yet, outside of here she was failing. Waste of 7 years of education and money. A NH teacher of the year has left as well so they could even keep a few of the gems that they had on staff.
