The school goes to great lengths to keep everyone safe, and they are doing a great job. I think possibly because of the reduced class sizes, or new lesson structures, our daughter is doing better than ever. She is coming home telling us all kinds of stories and making lots of connections to what she learned that day. She loves going to school everyday and usually cries when we pick her up, because she doesn't want to leave. The staff are friendly and good at their jobs, from the directors to teachers. I love getting pictures and updates throughout the day through the tadpole app. I don't know what we'd do if she couldn't go back to daycare, we are very grateful that Goddard is open and working as hard as they can to keep everyone healthy and safe in these crazy times.

The building is new and well maintained. The sightlines are very good. However, as far as treating their guests with respect Nashua Sports Academy is a total failure. This weekend they hosted teams from all over New England many who traveled two to four hours. I totally understand not allowing people into set up chairs until the official start time but not allowing people in to use the rest rooms after waking up before first light and driving several hours is almost criminal. To top it off the staff was very rude while going about it. They made people stand outside as it began to rain. They do not allow people to bring in outside food which is not unheard of at higher end venues but on a prior visit by my daughter's team I was told they had staff going round and making people take things outside including water for the players. This time this did not happen. You expect if they are not going to allow outside food they will have a selection of food available, they had hot dogs, cold popcorn, and a small selection of pre-packaged foods. Another, thing I found interesting was other than the volleyball there was nothing else going on. We went Sportszone Indoor Sports in Derry. NH this winter. This another venue which was also a multi-sport facility and there were many other things going on through the day flag football, soccer, basketball, and a children's hitting clinic. There was none of this going on at NSA.

Also, Director Lynn is a gem! Leaving your Little is difficult already, Lynn provides comfort and professionalism that make the situation easier. We immediately felt part of the family. Checking in is a breeze, the front desk staff are always so friendly and welcoming, and there are plenty of vending machines with healthy (some more than others) and refreshing drinks and snacks. The Merrimack location has an indoor track, racquetball courts, cardio and weight equipment, a swimming pool (for lap swim, classes, swim lessons, team swim, etc), as I mentioned previously, three locations for fitness classes (aerobic and yoga area, spin and dance studio that is used by the barre class). I love Yoga, Zumba (regular and toning), Dance Fit, and kickboxing. The instructors are friendly, welcoming and informative. I always have fun even if I am not the most coordinated individual. It is a great way to cross train for my regular hiking and running routines. The fee price is more than your typical PF type place but offers so much for the cost. They have reduced fees for individuals who may be in need due to low income, disability, etc. I am a fan and look forward to going.

I was relieved to see that they did have at least two Keiser stationary bikes, which are increasingly rare these days as most gyms get suckered into the big lumbering fancy LOOKING bikes with the flashy screens and video-game simulations, that have lousy ergonomics making you feel like you're pedaling a toy not a real bike. They do have some Concept rowers at least, which is a good sign. Overall I'd say it's a fairly decent Y except for the sauna, which was sorely disappointing in that despite being brand new looking and quite pleasant/spacious, was being run at some geriatric 150-160 degrees tops. Oh and they close way the hell too early on weekends: 5pm on Saturday, 4pm on Sunday. Only slightly less lousy than my home Y in Cambridge (4pm both days). Argh!

I switched to them after a very poor experience with a different center and Marguerite's Place was very responsive to our family's needs and expectations. I have recommended them to my friends who have little ones. Only drawback... the parking is junk, but this is more an issue for the city then the center as they have little to no control over it.
